This was so soothing to watch, I really would love to visit the many amazing spaces we have in Nigeria. As always, thank you for helping us see Nigeria via your lens!
Yaaaay!! Glad to see our store at Tropicana Mall featured in this episode. About Uyo, it's truly serene, accessible & clean. A first time visitor to the state capital may be shocked to realise that at least, 90-95% of the inner roads in the city center are well-tarred & that the people are welcoming. And if you love commuting via e-hailing, bolt is the only one in the city at the moment (but there are other means such as tricycle, mini-bus & motorcycle) & most of the vehicles in use there for that purpose are in tip-top shape unlike in some cities where you can't differentiate a Bolt ride from a regular taxi. There are also Tricycles on the Bolt app. Like someone else mentioned, the state capital is strategically situated; you can get to any part of the state from the capital in 1hr or less. If you're also single and searching, I think Akwa Ibom has some of the most beautiful & well-raised ladies in Nigeria. And the people are very religious (both male & female, young & old). I advise anyone visiting to try all the local delicacies on offer especially fisher man soup (it's pricey though due to the ingredients & others used in its preparation) & thank me later.
Thanks Tayo and the crew for the promotion of my state AKS . Spent part of my childhood in Ewet housing but being out in the diaspora for over two decades where I was born. I can assure you that every point raised about Akwa Ibom is correct! Clean and serene environment, friendly and accommodating people, calm and relaxed atmosphere, delicious array of local cuisines and most of all very beautiful, cultured and caring women. Not as much economic activities like other major cities in Nigeria but it is on the rise. Bigger demographics of under 25's so tech startups are also on the rise. Being in the South south, it is part of the Niger delta with reserves so massive potential for further economic development and growth if managed well which so far is the case. I would like to see more tourism promotion to the wider world from the State government and also a uniform expansion and development of the outer areas of the state. Not just individual houses but also infrastructures and amenities. Great work guys. I miss my state dearly and hope to be back soon.

As a homegrown, believe me when I say Uyo is just a tip of the iceberg. Thing is you can go round the entire state in less than 24 hours, it's that small in size but connected by world-class access, traffic-free road. Will be touring in May/June
This road I'm seeing here with open gutters is nice for a Nigerian standard but calling it world class is stretching it bit too far
@@PAYDAYHEDGE If according to you, all trunk roads of world standard have gutters nevermind covered ones, then you and i shouldn't be having this conversation
@@PAYDAYHEDGE Having open gutters doesn't really determine if a road is of good standard. A road may not have open gutters and be of bad standard. You gerrit
@@angelk1879 you almost sound smart but fell short.. Good Road is not just a paved part but contains multiple factors like pedestrian lane, bike lane, proper drainage, road markings and Alot of other things that you probably wouldn't understand cause I guess you live your entire life in naija and doesn't know better and not use to what I'm trying to say
I'm loving this series, I feel good seeing uyo on the net
No b only teacher come o
I hope you will visit my town ikot Ekpene
Yeah, I was hoping he would do that too.
Thank you Tayo for highlighting the beautiful and peaceful city of UYO. I can’t wait to visit there soon
I watch this and wish Imo State and Owerri in particular looked like this. Uyo is beautiful!
I miss Nigeria especially Akwa Ibom. I think its time to pay Nigeria a visit, Tayo let me come and enjoy with this great expectations too. Hopefully we see because your excitement is 100.
Abroad is crap. Nigeria and Africa is the future
Guy na my compound you dey opposite that stadium enjoy akwa ibom and have fun.
I love Akwa Ibom women, they truly provide all round happiness. Definitely out of competition as far as women in Nigeria is concerned. Respectfully!
This was so soothing to watch, I really would love to visit the many amazing spaces we have in Nigeria. As always, thank you for helping us see Nigeria via your lens!
Looks like another place I would love to visit and possibly even live there one day. Thanks! ~R
You are welcome in advance
@@hunchou5240 Thank you! Grace & Peace ~R
After eating those serious beef I will just sleep. The way they made the eba my gosh chia. The cost for a plate is definitely so affordable.
Amazing spot light of Akwa ibom ! Well done
Wow. My mum state. Although my late dad from ijebu ode ogun state
Thanks Tayo and the crew for the promotion of my state AKS .
Great video Tayo..Akwa Ibom State has a growing, vibrant Tech Ecosystem. You can get to the e library and particularly a start up called Start Innovation Hub...run by Hanson Johnson. He's doing a great job there globally from THAT space...representing South South..

I camped at akwa ibom state and wen i first arrived i was shocked at how fine Uyo city is,i think akwa ibom is underrated, there should be more hype about dat state.
Tayo.. I wish I stumbled over you in Uyo... would have been a bit more fun for you and your crew.. I left Lagos for Uyo since 2019, and its been one of my best decisions... The Peace is all I needed from after over 2 decades in Lagos..
