On the cosrx pimple patch packaging, I think it mentions to put the patch on AFTER you have washed your face BEFORE the rest of your skincare routine so the patch can stick to dry skin and work more effectively.

I've recommend the I'm from honey mask to you before. I'm slightly offended it was sold out. I guess that's how you know it's good though. I have combination skin. It hydrates and helps with my acne. I would love to see a part 2. Klairs UV essence is my favorite sunscreen. In the summer my skin is oilier so it doubles as a moisturizer and sunscreen for me.

Just wanted to give a second opinion about some of these products. Skin type: Combination with oily t-zone, diligent with (minimal) skin care routine, very minimal breakouts, not a frequent makeup user.
    1) COSRX advance snail 96 mucin powder essence - I used this for 6 weeks, 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off, and 3 weeks on because I was seeing tiny pimples gathering in patches all over my face when I used this, I stopped using it and saw my face clear up, and started using it again and the small pimples came back. They were easy to heal within a few days, but they appeared in clusters all over the face and this product seems to be the reason. The texture s a watery gel, what you would expect from an essence, and it does give your skin a moisturized glow but check the reviews to see if you're willing to try it considering the breakouts it can cause.
    3) COSRX acne pimple master patch, 24 patches - These work by keeping the popped pimple area clean, whereas without a patch there is a greater chance of debris and oil filling the pore and causing a bigger and deeper pimple after it is popped. It doesn't heal anything, and the material collected on the patch after using it is simply moisture, not oil or dirt that might be pulled out of the pore. To use these properly, you must clean and dry the area being covered so you don't trap any dirt under the patch and in the pore, and so it won't slip/slide. I recommend just doing your regular skincare, then getting rubbing alcohol on a q-tip to clean just the popped pimple, let it dry, then apply the patch. This brand also had slimmer patches that do the same thing but are less obvious under makeup.

Btw, pimple patches sold by skincare companies are pretty much the same thing as hydrocolloid bandages that you can find at the drugstore. Special pimple patches might have a slightly better user experience, but hydrocolloid bandages are WAYYYY cheaper

Snail items aren't cruelty free. They purposefully put the snail under stress so it will secrete mucus as a self defense mechanism, then they collect the mucus.

I have a CosRX Snail Mucin essence, they say that they leave the snails be in a dark room, let them do their thing, and the mucin is collected through a mesh type thing. Not that bad, and the quality of mucin goes down if the snails are stressed.
P.S. While "cruelty-free" is not a regulated term, it generally only refers to not animal testing.
