Thank you for the suggestion! I totally agree with you. I have been using the music to get around the amount of noise in the garage from the heater, AC, air compressor and stuff like that. I am going to do my best in the future to find a better way of recording so I don't need to have all the music. Thanks again for the feedback, I appreciate it!
Also, no danger in letting the cam chain go. You can retrieve it at anytime easily and there are timing marks on the flywheel,cam sprocket, and head. The cam will only bolt to the sprocket in the correct position so you just line up all the marks on reassembly and you’re good to go. Be sure to get the cylinder bored to true it up. A simple hone and rings typically won’t last long in these engines. They typically get out of round cylinders.

i have a question for you on the start up of the parrot green us90. I noticed you have the coil mounted on the outside of the frame. Its not the stock coil, what coil did you use to make it work. thanks. You do some very nice conversions
Oh wow, thanks Ron for correcting me!! I did not realize the coil went on the inside of the frame on the early trikes!! I was just used to seeing the later 110 stuff and I assumed they went on the outside. The coil is a Nippondenso coil I thought was a stock coil that I pulled off of a 1977 ATC90. I am looking at a parts diagram and did a search on the part number for the 1970 ATC90 Coil and the pictures I am finding show the coil that I have on the the green bike. I definitely could be wrong though since I am just using internet info and have never seen another 1970 before. As far as the mounting, this coil has removeable machine screws, I was just guessing so I put the heads of the screws inside the frame and threads on the outside, then put a nut on the screws so basically had a couple of studs coming out of the frame, then put the spacer collars on, then the coil, then a couple more nuts to hold the coil to the studs. I just assumed that was the way it was supposed to go. I guessed wrong haha. Now I need to figure out if I want to drop the engine and put the coil in the right spot or just leave it haha.
I heat ya Russ. I have been using the generic music in my videos to cover up the noise of the radio and other people working in the garage. I am trying to figure out a way to make videos in the future where I don't have to throw so much background music in. Stay tuned, I'll try my best to fix the problem 🙂
The slot in that valve is an indication that this engine has been previously rebuilt. The slot made it easier to lap the valves with a screwdriver. The screw in the valve adjustment cap is very strange as well.

It's been a couple years so I don't remember exactly what I said but I'm assuming I meant this is the first engine I took apart completely. I took the top ends off a couple of 90's before this but that was about it at that time. Unfortunately, my SD card failed in the camera so I lost the rest of this engine's rebuild. Me and my dad are working on a Honda 110 1981 engine, do you know where you can buy screws, the last owner stripped them and we had to drill them out. P.s great video!
I have had decent luck with the knock off carbs on ebay. They run $15 - $20. Should be able to search ebay for "1981 atc110 carburetor" and find a ton.

If this is your first rebuild, how do you know about the oil leaking out of it is put back together wrong?

If you go eBay carb make your to take the screws out of the choke flap and put loctite on them so the won’t fall off and get sucked in
