Thanks Jeremy. My plan was to build the whole bike one piece at a time and buy the absolute worst parts I could find on eBay one at a time just to be funny :)
Thanks again Stephen, I am pretty darn happy with how the whole thing turned out. I will try to get the rear fender fiberglass video up soon. thanks again for stopping by
Hey Dirk, I am not sure of the total hours but I would guess about 3 long weekends of some really long days. The first weekend doing the metal work and welding, the 2nd weekend doing the body work and primer, and the 3rd weekend doing the paint and wet sanding/buffing. I basically did it just to learn and for dramatic effect on the video haha.
I like to think I'm pretty good at fixing up junk ATV's and motorcycles , but i suck compared to you ! That fender turned out amazing ! Are you a professional metal worker / body man ? How many hours did you put in to patching the fender ?
Not a professional, just been a hobbyist for quite a long time. As far as time, probably a really long day to cut and weld in the new metal. Then another day for the grinding and fiberglass filler. Then another day for the bondo. Then another day for priming and blocking. All in all, I think it took about 3 weekends if I remember right. Glad you like the videos and thanks again for commenting!
