There was a recent paper highlighting how there are many more female psychopaths and sociopaths than previously thought because the assumption was always men and the measure was always physical violence.
When considering women, who are still human and humans collectively are a violent species, exert their violence in different ways (verbal and emotional abuse, conniving, etc). Given this new perspective the takeaway was they're equally as many female psychopaths as men.

  • @WillGYF
    @WillGYF 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

The problem with Amanda is her consistant lack of self accountability. One of the biggest issues we have among individuals in society is that most people lack accountability. They dodge it like the plague. Could she have ASD, sure, but because ASD is so generally defined, one could presumably make an argument for everyone to exist somewhere along the autism spectrum. We also live in a time where theres a clear overpathologizing over natural human behavior. So we wont overlook the convenient timing of this "diagnosis" nor will we overlook the fact that shes certainly smart enough to weaponize it in order to covet favor from those who also display antisocial behaviors while also seemingly disarming her critics by placing her in a "protected category". In the end though, whether she has ASD or not, everything cant always be everyone else's fault. At some point its still incumbent on her to own her "diagnosis", the world owes her nothing so she needs to stop acting like it does. Respectfully.

One of the first things I thought about was how she often talks about how educated she is, and referred back to what you’ve often said and many men agree, about how men don’t care about that if you’re often condescending, etc. and have the type of behavior/demeanor she has. She even said in Shannon’s interview how she’s not a “hugger” and isn’t affectionate or openly, or something along those lines. Combine that, w/ how she comes off, sprinkle in the constant victim narrative she keeps going, and there you have it. 40+, no relationship, hardly any friends if any, and still saying every one else did her wrong.

12:13 it's not just you. Years ago I observed that the very behavior attacked in men by feminists are considered normal and defended or tolerated in women. So it's basically a gender power tussle. To a degree it makes sense and points to the fact that men and women cannot be equal as we do not socially operate the same way and are not socially tolerated the same way. So it's not difficult seeing how this (in today's strange world of equality) double standard can also reflect in the medical world. It definitely reflects in the judiciary world. Women are known to be given lighter sentences than men for the same crime (tolerance). No man should get offended by this reality. Simply understand the power you carry and why it cannot afford to be tolerated in the same chaotic state like a woman

Society has been encouraging and promoting narcissistic behavior in men for centuries. If women are taking on more male centered roles; it is no surprise that there are more ppl complaining about narcissistic traits amongst women. The issue is that narcissistic behavior is manipulative and problematic but when men do it ppl just deal with it! Is the issue the narcissistic behavior or is it that women are now exhibiting these dominant behaviors and it is intimidating and off putting to deal with?

I think the biggest concerns I had for the interview and reaction to the interview is that Amanda Seales was not formally diagnosed with Autism. She did not go to medical school, is not a clinician of any kind. She’s reading symptoms online and thinking to herself that they describe her. There are tons of people who can identify with individual symptoms, but the overall picture of the disease or condition does not apply. I find it very strange that people not only glossed over this, but came down on Shannon Sharpe for even questioning if she had been formally diagnosed. She then comes out later after the interview saying she hasn’t been formally diagnosed and that she wouldn’t pay thousands of dollars for a diagnosis (despite the fact that it would not cost that much). Honestly, I’m surprised given our culture of awareness and sensitivity that the act of claiming a condition without a formal diagnosis isn’t seen as disrespectful to the communities that live with the condition. I get that clinicians are human can misdiagnose or fail to diagnose, but to not even pursue a diagnosis that you think to be true seems ridiculous. But, maybe that’s just me.
The other issue with Narcissism. Part of me wants to diagnose her with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, but, ultimately, I don’t know this woman. I can’t say that with 120% certainty that she’s a narcissist. I would love to based on interviews I’ve seen, but maybe that’s introducing a sampling bias. But I do agree that it seems concerning that she upsets people no matter where she goes. I’m glad that she stands up for important issues when people are too afraid to do so because of politics or their platform, but, I don’t get how she makes enemies practically no matter where she goes throughout her lifetime and seemingly takes no accountability in any of the situations that arise.
I think accountability is the most important part. We all make mistakes and misjudgments throughout our lifetime. We aren’t perfect and mistakes are often how we learn and grow, whether this is in academia or in social situations. The interview with Shannon Sharpe seemed devoid of that introspection and growth.

Funny how most of the actual therapists and professionals who saw the interview and did research seem to think she is on the spectrum.... Amanda Seales definatelty has all 3 traits of the dark triad. I think she scores high in machiavellianism. To her, the ends always justifies the means. She's demonstrated, especially with the Myron Rolle situation, that she is willing to do, or say anything to further ends. She doesnt care who she has to destroy to achieve them. She's demonstated willingness to lie, decieve, shown little to no morality, and cunningly( to those that dont know any better) manages to flip ever narrative to make herself the victim. All of this traits of are pilliars of machiavellianisn. It could also be argued that she is a meglomaniac as well

I always enjoyed your content. A word of advice if I may. I think it comes off as less than serious when you smirk and scoff at your own points. You make great points and you are highly intelligent. I think it comes off like you don’t take your own points seriously. I understand this is not the reality or intention but it is a bit off-putting. I loved how Kevin always remained serious and flint faced in the face of the cynicism his points received right to his face, he’d often say “I don’t see anything funny I actually think it’s quite sad”… #ripKevinSamuels.

Fair critique, however, I am NOT Kevin Samuels and have a very different general disposition. Additionally, I laugh and smirk at times primarily because I’m generally uncomfortable in front of the camera and am often actively organizing various, sometimes contradictory and comical thoughts simultaneously. Hopefully, my work prior to having to draw attention to myself speaks for itself and how seriously I take our plight.

Sorry bro, I'm a bit behind.
Most of the time I've listened to Amanda Seales it's been a lot of her claiming how she is owed flowers for taking a stand on issues or subjects that people were already involved in, or subjects so obscure no one ever asked. As far as her mistreatment, it seems that "Black Hollywood" has chunned her because of her ability to be erratically verbose at inoperable times towards her peers. They seem to have had enough. That's on them. But also find it hard to believe that they are just "getting her wrong". Listening to her talk makes me think of Donald Trump. (Without political considerations involved the man sounds like a malignant narcissist when he speaks.) 🥃 Cheers.

BM PSA - please let's define "our women". Because much of the self delusion is in the very language itself.
For example, the Miami Dolphins is "my team", but it only means I favor them. I have absolutely zero equity and mean absolutely NOTHING to that team.
"Our women" hates no other race of men EXCEPT us... by their own words and deeds. These are just rational observations that CANNOT be dismissed by emotional responses to an empirical conclusion.
Even more than that, our oppressors for centuries are the BAWs redeemers and liberators... our captivity and utter decimation "saved them" from us... their greatest enemies, also what they say and express.
I don't pose these ideas, universally known by all other races of men, EXCEPT us, is the disdain is real and the idea of "our women" makes us fit the notion of intellectual deficient.
They are only biologically related to us... but in heart/mind/spirit, they are the pink man's most devoted soldiers.
Peace and patience... our redemption is near, and our restoration will be EPIC.
