    or you just remove the one like 12mm bolt on the caliper and swing the caliper out of the way you don't have to remove the 2 17mm bolts to change brake pads

    • @UrbanSleepersOfficial
      @UrbanSleepersOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that also works well.

      +Bryttian Depue awesome got it, it was pretty difficult to remove the bolts, felt like there sealed lol but I was able to remove them and used the correct pound of pressure to tighten them, and then I went ahead to test out how easier it is to just remove the 12 bolt. It worked out great.

    Whats the breaker looking thing you use to get the caliper out? I have no idea and want to know before i do my very first brake job

    • @UrbanSleepersOfficial
      @UrbanSleepersOfficial  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jini08taeki the breaker thing is a piece of square tubing I slide the ratchet in to create more leverage to break bolts loose. It’s nothing fancy and you could use a small piece of round tubing to create that leverage.

      @UrbanSleepersOfficial  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      worldbassify The screws holding the rotors in place were really rusty for me, but they finally loosened up with some brake cleaner!

    Thanks for this great Video. I bought my EJ1 from a guy which used to have ITR parts installed. Both my front and rear is disc brake. Not sure which side is OEM. Is the rotor have part number engraved on it so I can easily go and buy to replay it? Is all brake pad size the same? Thanks in advance

    Yeah.... maybe not but at least I didn't make a video on how to spell. maybe you should do that instead of showing people the incorrect way to work on vehicles.

    • @UrbanSleepersOfficial
      @UrbanSleepersOfficial  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've worked on many different components in a vehicle without having any issues, so if the video didn't help you, then there's nothing else I can do to help you. Someone else will be able to gain some knowledge from watching the video. Good luck
