Mystery Boat 2 solved. Legacy is my 1999 35 Henriques Express. Original owner with 22 seasons running from Cape May to Montauk. Great video, Shore Boats. Professional work.
Great videography! Thank you! So much better than haul over, real captain’s and experience. We fished out of Shinnecock Inlet Long Island for years out of a 28ft Bertram. Keep up the great work!👍
Good evening 🙏 all: The inlet looked like 👍 it had an upset stomach with all that churning water. The swells didn't really get ya until you hit the mouth between the inlet & the ocean side then its hang on for dear life. On the way back in that trailing sea 🌊 can really get your blood pressure up. Nice clear video guys, TMP from N.J.
... from looking at the jetties you can tell it is very close to or at low tide ... Hhhmmm ??? Do you think that has something to do w/ the "large swells" ??? Me knows it does ...
I took my twenty eight foot cape dory power cruiser, a trawler, from the Jersey Shore to Lake Michigan in Chicago. I would prefer to run long ten ft ground swells in the Atlantic over a two foot chop in the Great Lakes. The Great Lakes are a maelstrom, waves are steep and fast and come from all directions. It’s not particularly dangerous but just miserably unpleasant, all the time. I’m heading back to the east coast.
I had to come from Atlantic City via the NJICW yesterday because of weather and my only window that I see is tomorrow Sunday around 5am and going with an outgoing tide. I have a 2002 Mainship 390. What can you tell me about it? What are my chances at survival?😢

That Inlet can get pretty rough. Amazing swells. Good views!
Great job look forward to these videos every week
Thanks for all your support Scott!
Seems pretty calm from when I’ve gone through there.
Those big rollers remind me of the Columbia Bar. Six miles of rollers.
Awesome video, all those Cabo's were very cool.
Your videography is beautiful.
What kind of camera equivalent are you using?
That inlet has some serious swells! Would have loved to see some boats launching them...
Mystery #1 looked like a regulator.
#2 looks like a Henriques express
Second the Henriques
great video. Timing is everythng
Mystery boat looks like a contender
Looks wide and deep enough, people like to run with nets in the t-top up that way. Mystery boat #1 looks like a Regulator
Best wishes

Well, there's some swells but not the kind of chop you see at Haulover.
Between the canal based and river based boats the weekend traffic is just too heavy, especially on a moon tide.
Definitely a Henriques Express for Mystery #2
The inlet has shoaled up significantly on the Point side in the last year.
Any sailboats go trough here on a steady basis ??
Lesson learned - 30 year old 20' boats with 20 year old 150hp engines can run inlets too
Crazy right here in South Florida they need at least four mercury 450R’s
Captains? Must mean something different there.

Waste of time!
Then don’t comment!
I could watch boats come in and out of that inlet all day. Made the run hundreds of times..
