Its been really cool trying out the new features but its sad that its missing Procreate's basic features like Quick shapes and Brush settings for example, but i think those would be added soon
James mentioned during the keynote that they could only add certain features, but also said this is JUST version one, so I think those will be added later down the line. But be real with yourself for a second: Who would use quick shapes for animation?
I think they left out certain features so that the app runs as smoothly as possible. Most people will do most of their drawing in the procreate app and then export it to dreams anyway
@@draydenferguson3128 I would. If you want to draw circles, rectangles, squares or even arcs that you want to move right after drawing, the quick shapes help with that

How do i do “ripple delete” to quickly close gaps in the timeline? If i delete a frame how do i close the gap without having to move everything manually?
Hello! I have a 3rd party pencil. It seems like you cannot use 3rd party pencils with procreate dreams. Its really unresponsive when i try to draw but if i do anything else not on the draw option my off brand pencil works just fine and is completely responsive. I was curious and looked around this morning and on a (procreate folio) or something i dont really remember. Someone said procreate dreams wont support 3rd party pencils. And it seemed like someone who worked there. So i looked into it more and with procreate 5.3 they stopped supporting 3rd party pencils (except the logitec crayon) because it has apple propriatary tech in it. So it seems to me like you cant use 3rd party pencils in dreams and it seems like someday you probably wont in procreate. Maybe im wrong and honestly hopefully i am wrong. But im disgusted that i got my hopes up and spent the money on a program i cant even use.
