Nice review! Seems you had loads of fun 😊. 2 questions - 1. With new engine ready, isn't this engine at the end of it's life cycle? I wonder why KTM didn't launch 390 ADV with new engine. 2. For primarily city use, is X variant comfortable in terms of suspension and gearing? We have seen with TVS BTO, Xpulse and now KTM, adjustable suspension or rally kits don't cost much. It's the competition which makes these OEMs launch such variants closer to the launch of new models by their competitors. With Bajaj Triumph and new RE bikes on their way, KTM has grabbed the moment. Otherwise, chal raha hai, chalne do ..was the policy.
As someone who owns the previous ADV 390, I can't wait to get the suspension and spoked wheels set. I have bent the alloys twice on hardcore offroads and it costs a bomb and especially the offroad performance on sand and gravel will greatly improve as we can go lower on the tire pressure without being scared of bending the rim anymore. Can't wait to try out and kit it on my bike! Excellent review brother.

Its all about how you change gear. For any high revv engine, never expect low end torque at higher gears. You have to pro active when it comes to changing gears in existing ktm models Bcz, peak torque is generated at 7000pm (in 390). Which means, really lacks low end Punch. So when it comes to slow speed in the city, ktm is very happy at 1st to 4th gear.

A bit of side question but bike owners here can you tell whether you have experienced front disk metal shavings from the front brake unit? I have a pulsar n250 and after a 40 kilometre ride when I stopped and looked at the front brake there were some metal shavings like a thread stuck in the front brake pads which I removed. Your reviews are the best sir! Always looking forward for more. Also, i heard that we can get the spoked wheels and the adjustable suspension on previous gen 390 adv as well, is that true?
No main stand for advs is most senseless trend in industry
True, keeping luggage in sidestand is very difficult
The stand costs you ground clearance and adds weight. Hence manufacturers avoid it
There are many situations where you unable to park the bike in sidestand, hence main is needed.

Yes
Loved your videos bud. Was waiting for this video.
I have 1 question. In the normal 390, can we install the adjustable front and rear suspension without actually installing the spoke wheels?
Yes you can but ktm won't be selling them as power parts
Completed watching the video with 100% satisfaction. Quality gets better and better Sagar. Keep up the good work. Keep us entertained.
Thanks bud. Do like and share the love ahead
Great review Sarge, as usual

A bit of side question but bike owners here can you tell whether you have experienced front disk metal shavings from the front brake unit? I have a pulsar n250 and after a 40 kilometre ride when I stopped and looked at the front brake there were some metal shavings like a thread stuck in the front brake pads which I removed. Also I have noticed my front disk to squeak while braking. The disk was definitely having some grooves in it. Is it normal for the pads to bite into the disk?
Sounds like the pads aren't fitted correctly. Get it checked
Can we change the spoke wheels for alloy wheels for the highway rides and switch it back to the Spoke wheels for the off-road adventures ?
Yes if you can get them as a spare
30k for alloy and 15k (tyres) additional expenses.
Also, frequently changing wheels (mental burden).
I feel doesn't makes sense.
@@3rdclasstatamahindrabajajRE Yeah, feeling the same. But punctures are also the worst thing, maybe using the Formula X No Puncture fluid is a better option.
Loved the video... much needed upgrade for the Adv390 but no sintered pad in the front?!!!! I had once put normal pads in the front as sintered pad was out of stock. Used it for just a month before discarding it and getting the sintered from another SC. No way I am using anything else!
The 390 adv never came with sintered pads
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial oh!!!! I own a Duke 390. I thought, both shared the same braking components! My bad
Your reviews are the best sir! Always looking forward for more. Also, i heard that we can get the spoked wheels and the adjustable suspension on previous gen 390 adv as well, is that true?
They won't be available as power parts unfortunately
What if someone wants only the adjustable suspension and not spoke wheels ?
Ktm won't be selling them as power parts
Sagar sheldekar uploads a new video! Let me grab my popcorn.
Haha hope you enjoyed it bud
