Every other channel just review the bike But sarge just makes poetry with the bike and explains it so wonderfully with the cinematography you are just amazing sarge a gem of the Indian automotive industry
He already said, he will ride in plane areas and waiting for is it still value for money. Just a first impression which looks promising. Wondering how it might compare to Triumph Scrambler.
RE truly came a long way...this sherpa 450 engine can really give a tuff compitition to all international opponents & the TFT screen is just WOW...Loved your review as always...❤
I think the difference between this and say the 390ADV for example is the Sherpa engine has been designed specifically for the application, as well as the long travel off road suspension.
Searched and watched almost every review for the Himalayan 450 as soon as the embrago got over. But this one is the best of all. Practical, unscripted and totally realistic.
The review was worth all the wait and apprehension. Seeing the competition from KTM and Bajaj Triumph was very scared how the Himalayan will fair against them, but am happy RE came back with such a wonderful product. Of all the 1000 reviews available. This is the only review that I was waiting for , didn’t miss even a second while I lack patience and generally fast forward quite effortlessly , amazing review which checked all the boxes , chalo then, It’s time to book the bike .. ✌️
Completed watching this video ❤️ lovely sagar. You explained everything we need to know and yes it’s better to see this bike running on sea level to test it’s full potential. Love to see the cinematic. Awesome video sagar keep the good work up ❤️
Sagar is back with what he is known for i.e "The art of motorcycle story telling". No one does better than him. He creates an overwhelming enthusiasm with his narratives for motorcycling.
Yours is the first review I watched and was eagerly waiting for your take on the bike. RE has always outdone themselves and same with the Himalayan 450 they have hit the bullseye with it. Will wait for the road test review by Sarge. And yes if Sarge is getting one then this bike is definitely one to be added to the garage.
@7:09 notice the change in the mode of IP it changes to night mode but at that time it already exited the tunnel... it means there is a lag in auto switching the mode. I watched the video and @7:00 it enters a tunnel and @ 7:09 it exicted the tunnel so is there a lag of 9 sec I may be wrong. Please watch and tell what is happening..
Point to note- the reduced availability of oxygen is not just for the bike. It is for him too! And having done parts of that very circuit on an old beat up Himalayan 411, I can only be amazed at the focus it took for you to ride that thing hard, enjoy the twists and turns and still present that beaut of a bike for us to enjoy. Would that be a Diwali treat? A fire cracker instead?? Happy Diwali Sarge!
The earlier Himalayan was forgiving and accepted rider with open arms as back then it was new genre for an avg. Indian, but now those noobs have up their skillset to a whole new level and this new bike levels up the expectation, it is more worthy if you're a dedicated rider, however, due to the absence of low bottom end torque as compared to 411, it can't be ridden in a choke blok city traffic, you need open roads and good stretch to make the best use of this bike. (Maybe weekends) Thanks Sarge!! ❤ Watching your review clears up the wind!
Not a Royal Enfield guy.. but after your review my mind is thinking other wise.. wanting to swith from my dominor to this.. as always amazingggg review, the oly TH-camr i look forward for bike reviews!!🙌🏻
Absolutely loved the review Sarge!❤ Can't believe RE have fine tuned the Himalayan so meticulously... Eagerly waiting for the price and the real world review! Cheers
Dominiar 400 UG rider here (one of the first batches in 2019). have modded the dominar fair bit for long distance travel and ofcourse ergonomics. I have been eyeing the himalayan since it made its debut 10yrs back. was never convinced about it, especially with the frequent chassis breaking reports. at the same time, extremely happy with dominar. haven't faced any trouble whatsoever, except for recurrent front fork seal breaks when i ride it a bit rough. lack of low end torque hasn't been an issue for me at all. for the first time, i am feeling like there is a worthy replacement for my dominar with a really good value for the money. RE seems to have zeroed in on the right parameters - like adjustable suspension, responsive engine, good speed carrying capability on the highway, manageable vibes, good braking, and what looks like a good responsive chassis. only low end torque is a bummer (compared to the older himalayan), but coming from the 371cc revv happy engine of the dominar, i am used to literally non existent low end. so this himalayan, ticks all the boxes for me. will keep following this one now. who knows, if it stands the test of time, I might finally replace my beloved dominar in future. kudos to RE for bringing a very well specced indian bike to india at this value prop.
From a simple but rugged Himalayan to a more powerful, engaging and tech loaded Himalayan, that's a huge difference. This is a giant step up from the old Himalayan.

What a beautiful road and a spectacular first ride review. Sagar can you please the details of this route, it is so reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands!
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial Sagar, do you think we need twin cylinders in this displacement category? Indian manufacturers have recently started developing liquid engines. Do you think an Air cooled inline twin or parallel twin, has any place? For starters power delivery would be more linear. Vibration would be less. What are your thoughts?

Bro what do you think about honda cb300 with new pricing??
What a beautiful road and a spectacular first ride review. Sagar can you please the details of this route, it is so reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands!
This is the route from Manali to chatru
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial Thank You so much for the update 😊. Wishing you a happy and prosperous Diwali!
The scenery is awesome. Where is it?
How is it compared to the 390 adventure?
This is the route from Manali to chatru. This seems more capable offroad than the 390 adv but need to test it more back in Pune
