This guy stayed in this boat for more then a year and made a world record also.In November 2012, José, an experienced fisherman, set off from Mexico for a two-day fishing trip. 120 kms away from the coast. 2.04 He was accompanied by a young companion, Ezequiel Córdoba. Everything seemed routine until a fierce storm hit, turning their small boat into a helpless speck in the vast ocean. He had a radio and so he passed the location details to his boss -but bad luck was all with them. the battery was down and the radio got switched off. He was unable to contact anyone since then.The storm destroyed their engine and most of their fishing gear, leaving them drifting aimlessly in the open water.With their supplies quickly dwindling, José and Ezequiel had to rely on their wits and whatever resources they could find. They caught fish, turtles, and even birds with their bare hands. They drank rainwater whenever they could collect it, but when the rain didn’t come, they were forced to drink their own urine to stay alive. The ocean is a harsh place, and after several months, Ezequiel succumbed to illness and the brutal conditions, leaving José alone in his struggle for survival.For over a year, José drifted across the Pacific Ocean, covering thousands of miles. He faced blistering sun, raging storms, and the relentless monotony of the empty horizon. The loneliness was overwhelming, but José kept himself going by thinking about his family and praying for a miracle. His body grew weaker, and he lost a tremendous amount of weight, but his spirit remained unbroken.One particularly thrilling moment came when José spotted a distant ship. His heart raced as he frantically waved and shouted, trying to get their attention. But the ship didn’t see him and sailed away, leaving José crushed but not defeated. This incident only fueled his determination to survive.Then, in January 2014, after 438 grueling days at sea, the miracle José had been praying for finally happened. His boat washed ashore on a remote island in the Marshall Islands, more than 6,000 miles from where he had started. The local islanders found him and were stunned by his condition and his incredible story. They immediately provided him with food, water, and medical care, helping him regain his strength.José’s survival story is one of the most extraordinary tales of human endurance and resilience.
