Love marzipan fruit! Grandma used to get me a box full for Christmas when I was young. Now I can make some for my kids. Thanks for the video.
You can also use green, or purple, to make clusters of grapes. yellow to make bunches of bananas. and so on.
We used to put them on waxed paper on a cookie sheet as we finished them. Left it out overnight to harden them slightly. Then you could put them in cookie tins.. to be taken out when company comes!
Wow, this makes so much sense and it's easy(ish) to do. What I don't get is how did the marzipan make it out of the tube. In my experience, it usually just gets eaten straight from the tube and then I feel bad about myself.
Love the music.
lol I kept hearing Mr bungle's Carousel
Scott Croom you can get the Marzipan at Safeway. (If you know the store.)
Yeah
Absolutely love the cheese grater trick x
The color application was so 'painterly'. I love these. I honestly think you could make the color more dramatic and make fruit Cezanne would be jealous of! So beautiful. I hope you and your family are all well and happy.
Absolutely lovely!
Beautiful!!!!
Thank you very much for shearing!
Ok these are flipping adorable!!
You totally rock! This vid is awesome. Never thought I could until I saw this vid. Thx so much.
These are awesome! Thanks for sharing!
That wouldn't last long in our fruit bowl. Delicious. Makes my mouth water. Very artistic:)
super! made me nostalgic abt my childhood days! thanks!
great video thanks! seems like that is more food color in the dishes than necessary
love this idea!
Thoroughly impressed!! Wow!! Thank you for sharing!! - Zach Van Harris JR
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate ur great effort indeed.
They're so pretty! Great job!
Very pretty looking fruits
Beautifully illustrated ⭐️ Thank you! PS do you remove the clove before eating?
Outstanding!
You make it look soooo easy!! You could do carrots for carrot cake too. Love this video!! Thank you.
Thank you for this video! Marzipan fruit actually is a traditional candy for a Dutch (children's) celebration/holiday called 'Sinterklaasfeeest' , which runs from the midst of November to December 5th. It is widely ( and in great quantities) eaten together with other speciality candy. To be honest I didn't know it was even a thing in America...the fruit marzipan I mean :-)
gyqz Oh cool! I didn't know that. I would love to visit Holland some day.
looks like this would be such fun and so therapeutic!
TheMikhailaS It was so much fun! You can get really creative with them. And you can eat them afterward!
hilahtalking All the more reason to make them!
I want to refresh myself in making marzipan figures. I love to watch this. I will make my own video too.
Awesome!

Thank you
Very Nice Skills.

Coolest idea ever.
Never knew about Hilahtalking. Saw this video; heard no Hilahtalking! However, the impressive quality of these tiny fruits makes me feel alright about things. (Hope you and the new babe are doing well!)
Groovy-licious soundtrack.
Yum
Can I dip them in agar or jello?
holy crap datz amazinggg !!!!!!!!!!
absolutly awsome.....its one thing to make minitures and quite another to make them edible.....though i cant see anyone daring to eat them they are too damn precious.
Where do I get tubes of marzipan?
Where did you buy the marzipan?
woah they look real
Love this video! I actually think narration would have been distracting from the shaping and painting techniques. This makes me want to go out and buy some marzipan!
E' UN INVENTO ITALIANO, SI CHIAMA "FRUTTA DI MARTORANA" NASCONO IN SICILIA !!! MADE IN ITALY
Fun!
beautiful
how long will this dessert last?
How do you make the marzipan
Do you think there is a way to add actual fruit flavours into this recipe ? Thanks in advance
wow! exellent! !!!!!!
What's the song?
Marzipan in the tube is so expensive, and yet so easy to make yourself. Almond flour (make sure it's 100% almonds), egg white and icing sugar. You can also flavor it with almond extract, or rose or lavendar. Or any other flavoring you might like, really.
The marzipan fruits are so cute and I'm sure are so tasty as well. Loving the music. Does anyone know the name of it? 😃😊👍🏻
anything almond is like crack for me
ssjmichael me tooo man
You are a "crackpot" !!

Very funny! 😂🤣🤣
I’m not even going to ask how you know. 😳
I hate when people say this! I know it's just a saying, but as a former addict.. I can assure you that crack isn't as addicting as people who say this saying think! I would say heroin would fit the saying better, because it is that addicting. And crack is gross anyway. Lol
The music 🎶 should have been Brahms but the instructions are wonderful

¡Alfeñique! Típico comerlo en día de muertos en México, ya sea de pasta de almendra como este o de azúcar glass y limón o con azúcar glass y lechera ❤
What is marzipan? I am sorry But can someone please explain to me what it is?
Mazapan
a paste made of blanched almond meal, sugar and water- sometimes almond extract or vanilla:)
Marzipan or Mazapan as its called in Spanish speaking countries, dates back to the 1500's in Spain during the time of the Moors who brought almonds and almond flavored sweets with them. In Spain mazapan is ground almonds mixed with sugar and eggwhites, kneaded into a dough, shaped then baked to a light golden brown. Sometimes almond extract is added but can often add a synthetic taste. Marzipan is used all over Europe and Scandinavia as a filling in cakes and rolls, usually around Christmas. In Spain its eaten year round.

This is panellets. Catalan mazapán medieval.

But pears are green
Many pear varieties of different colors/combinaton of colors, including red and green anjou, brown bosc, red and yellow bartlett
You did a lovely job transforming the Marzipan in beautiful pieces of fruit. I’m a professional pastry chef with nearly 40 years experience... Please be extremely careful using Cloves, l nearly killed my Son 36 years ago! I didn’t see him sneak a piece of marzipan off of the table where I was working... he was only 3 1/2 years old he stuffed it his mouth. He wasn’t choking on the marzipan he was choking on the Clove! It’s extremely difficult to Heimlich a 3 1/2 year-old child! We were also slapping him on the back in an upward motion while we him upside down by his ankles. Literally it was the scariest two minutes of my life!
Ehhh. Not my thing. Marzipan is definitely an acquired taste. Pretty to look at though.
Long time viewer. Not a fan of this style. Love you though
Oh come on, anyone can buy a tube of that yucky stuff. Making the marzipan yourself is primary, the shaping anyone can do. I'm going back to the Spanish videos that actually show how to make the almond paste.
Don’t be so rude
Awesome!
Best username ever! XD
