    I settled back to enjoy your review. Very enjoyable, clear and informative. Thank you for your excellent review. Sounds like you're still in love with the Divas, even after the honeymoon period!
    Is there any "minimum" source needed to get the best from the Divas? For example will any DAP be ok, or will some DAPs get more from the Divas? (I've heard that some FiiOs are a bit too powerful for some sensitive IEMs resulting in some background noise).

    • @Gizaudio
      @Gizaudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol, yeah I still love it. The Diva doesn't need that much power like most IEMs, it can played off of anything and sounds just fine. If you have a DAP of any quality you're good to go.

      For me I find the Mest MK2 to be good, but nothing beyond just good. It doesn't blow me away. It's just safe, easy to enjoy, with great details. However, it lacks the wow factor endgame IEMs should have. The Mest original is better in my opinion.

    Currently own a blessing 2, thieaudio oracle, monarch mk1, & monarch mk2. Really liking the oracle tuning for the smoothness and monarch mk2 for the overall versatile genre it can handles. Do you recommend getting Elysian diva with my current setup or I should hold up for the anole vx?

    I'm highly considering the Diva when I get into the true end game phase later next year, I've been playing with mid-fi sets for months and ended with the B2:Dusk which ironically gives me zero problems with the fit.
    Actually that's a lie, I really want an S8 before I go get the true TOTL stuff.
    Does it make sense to get this and the Anole VX? I might get two endgame sets if I have the $$$.

    • @Gizaudio

      @@Gizaudio Thanks for your nice reviews. I also consider buying a new iem. Because of your videos I'm considering the U12T, the Aniole Vx or V14 or the divinity 14. Looking for a more fun Iem, for Rap/rnb and Rock. Since all my other equipment leans more to neutral. Is there a comparison video for these. Or could you give me an advice? Thanks for all your efforts in the videos

    • @Gizaudio
      @Gizaudio  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I've not tried the V14 or the Divinity so I can't speak for those. Between the U12T and VX...
      The U12T is a very safe tuning with great technical qualities across the board. It's near impossible to find a big fault about the U12T. The only reason to not enjoy it would be it is simply too safe. That's the case for me, hence, I rarely ever grab them. Though I can 100% respect the performance it has.
      The VX is intense, the amount of details is the best in the industry and the way it's presented is very open, transparent, it's not congested in anyway even though you hear sooooo much more of the music. The biggest issue is going to be the intensity and treble. It's not a very natural listen and if you're sensitive to treble you might not enjoy this as much. Though having said that, it is by far the most addicting IEM once you get your ears on it. Annnnd currently my #1 favorite IEM.
      For an overall fun IEM for the genres you mentioned......try Sony IER-Z1R :)

    • @tsurugi12
      @tsurugi12 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Gizaudio thanks for the great response. I wasn't sure about the U12T, because of the great technicality. But after your comment I will not consider it. Now I lean more to the VX because even though I would like to have better mid-bass I don't want to lose too much details. But I've used Shure and beyerdynamic headphones, also arya. Which some of them lean more into the treble area or more neutral tuning.
      The Sony and the monarch mk2 will also be considered. Unfortunately I haven't found shops where I could try them. But thanks a lot for your response and keep up the great work and stay healthy.

    Giz what is the best iem for vocal + smooth + relaxing sound signature? And the most important like, I want it the sound be very clean and not dull, I need to be hearing those every notes and tones differently. While listening to the song, the sound and music shouldnt be depressed and sticking by ears or my brain. Open and clear. Any suggestions? No budget limiting.

    • @Gizaudio
      @Gizaudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you want something laid back while not being dull, I suggest the Monarch MK2 or if you want an even safer one, than 64 Audio U12T. Though I find the U12T to be a bit too safe.

    Do you think Diva is better than EE Odin? Because for me odin give me a jaw-dropping experience when i tried them, especially the way they are presenting midrange, just full, lush, natural, yet very resolving and transparent

    • @Gizaudio

      The Odin and Diva are gonna be wowing for different people for sure. The Odin is a lot more bass focus while Diva is vocal focus. I would say both wowed me, but Diva wowed me more. Though if you ask a bass head, they would probably be wowed by Odin more

    • @Gizaudio
      @Gizaudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      VX handles staging and positioning "better" or at least more realistic. The Diva's staging puts the vocals kinda in the forefront and the other instruments play around it almost. Male vocal wise I'd give the edge to Diva for its more natural tonality.

    Gizaudio, my wife is a professional singer, leads a choral group and is in possession of a MS and PhD. in vocal performance and music education, respectively. She presently leads an all female chorus - 70 high school girls. Her problem is early onset fatigue withe IEMs (earbuds) and need earpads. Please list a couple of recommendations of top-of-the-line earpads that do best at things which maximize the acoustic aesthetics of a group female voices. You enjoy female vocals. Think Natalie Merchant, Margo Timmins, KD Lang, Joan Baez and what would optimize a Americana Folk quartet of the above four. This is a niche that's difficult that's difficult to dig up information (or opinions) on.

      The U12T is more versatile/ balanced and overall safer tuning wise. For me it's too safe and thus comes across boring after a while. The Diva is more intense of a listen, the uppermids and treble is as aggressive as it can get while remaining natural. For me Diva is much more exciting, but it's really for people who loves vocals. The U12T is for any genre.

    How is the Diva compare to the U12t?

    • @Gizaudio
      @Gizaudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U12T is a lot more versatile and safer. It has a well balanced signature with very good bass and an easy going upper midrange, good treble air.
      Though the issue with it is always that it's not special. It's versatile but doesn't really shine in any genre specifically.
      Diva is more exciting, less midbass means it won't play well with genres that requires good midbass, and if you're a bass head, this is not really for you. Though it does have a lot of subbass.
      The Diva specialized in having a incredible upper midrange and treble energy. Vocals are lively while remaining smooth and natural. The best vocal experience in any IEM in my opinion.
      So in summary, it depends on your taste. If you know you love vocals, especially female vocals, than the Diva is better for you.
      If you don't know what you like, or if your music library covers many genres, the U12T is a safer pick.

      @@Gizaudio you got my attention timmy, i tried the U12T (with m20 module) and found the bass a bit too much for me, so less bass mean i something my ears can handle. I also tried the Monarch mk2 but i found the bass is a bit congested while the mid and treble is truly shine. Does the bass on the Diva clean and not bleed into the 2 other ranges? I listen to mainly female vocals btw
