- How To Install Brembo Brake Caliper Covers - Quick And Easy
Here is what you need -
1. Flat Head Screwdriver
2. Tiger Seal
Here is what to do - remove the wheels first...
On the front just lift the wire holder with a flat head screwdriver and push into place ( yes it's that simple )
On the rear clean up the calliper with a wire brush and then clean away any grease using a brake and clutch cleaner - apply tiger seal onto the face of the calliper and inside the calliper cover that's going on - hold into place and leave for 24hrs to set.
DONE!

I have changed to Brembo discs and pads in the front, but the pads do not fit perfectly and they rattle as they,are a tad to big. Do you know about any clips to put in between?

what is the best way to install these ? , i seen people gluing them or drilling them in , wich way is more effective im affraid that if glued they will come off eventually because of the heat.

Once again great guide, and thank you. I did notice something that doesn't really matter. But the nipple with the cap is actually supposed to be on top. You technically have it upside down. lol

@@FL4MEWITHA4 I tried to install mine today. They were too small. I tried modifying them but they still rubbed when I installed the wheel. Bummer. I made sure that they were compatible with my car by the eBay listing still would not fit I slid them underneath those clips like you did on yours. But the the other end that supposed to go over the caliper didn't work for me.

@@FL4MEWITHA4 2019 Accord Sport 2.0t. something on the inside of the cover was pushing it out too far cuz I cut the top off almost completely to try to make it work and it still looked great just couldn't go down enough 2 alleviate wheel rub.
Nice! Affordable, and look amazing. Not to bad when comparing them to the real ones. Honestly if u are not doing it for performance these are great just for the look it will give your car. I have blue on my car, and got them from eBay as well.

@@Lyfehurts66 They were ok but my calipers were to big, even though the seller guaranteed me that they were big enough. So after a couple of adjustments(high temperature silicone type adhesive) they look good on the wheels/rims, calipers give it a little more of a sport look.

@@truegrizzlesfan2292 I used a silicone glue from Walmart, check in automotive but make sure it's heat resistant. I forgot the brand but the Walmart employees in automotive will know what u are looking for. U are welcome in advance.

I have brembos already but i wouldn’t mind re-painting these covers and put em on there . So much brake dust these covers might reduce it

What type of glue/seal needs to be used? Tiger Seal is not something I cant buy where I live. Brake pads can get extremely hot and I dont know what type of proper glue can be used to make sure it doesnt come off. Any tips, appreciated and thanks for your video :)
Probably engine gasket glue will do

My honest opinion is these covers look great. I have owned the MGP, and CCi's(currently have). But these $12.00 ebay covers look better than the others and cost $235.00. less. I bought some ebay covers a few days ago. I'm going to use this method and I'm going to use round magnets on the inside with 3m tape on the inside of the cover for extra protection. Maybe even shoot the inside of the plastic with High Temp red paint. thanks for the video. I hope these work on my 2019 Accord Sport. The others are better quality materials, but they don't look as real as the ebay ones. Somebody needs to make these with aluminum and magnets like CCI uses. My 2 Cents

They are made out of brittle plastic so that if they fall of, they will just shatter and not cause damage to wheel or wreck
These will go really well with the rolled up sock I keep down my pants. :)

My car has actual Brembo brakes and I’ve worked on them. Why did this 3rd party messed up on the bleeder valve. They go on top, not the bottom.

most instances it will not fit to the ones that your car has. Standard calipers covers comes with extended clip and hardware. I just receive ones that I ordered and I'm searching for how the hell I will fit these on thats why I ended up here.

joseph nicolan - if you don't have the clips you need to glue it on 👍🏻 pushing them on without being secured will be dangerous as they can fall into the moving wheel 😁🔥

I don't know if you did this already but they do not fit like they should go directly through Mopar and get the proper fitting ones for your Hellcat I did there were about $240 for the set of 4 well worth the money

FL4ME WITH A 4 I had seen another video recommending against using these because they were creating a lot of heat and wearing out the brakes. I'm assuming because those had a piece that clipped on the front and back of the calipers maybe caused that issue as ur show to only cover the front which I would assume would make it so the brakes don't best up?
Terry Nova good question- yes as they only cover the front part, I have had no extra wear than normal - no overheating 👍🏻

I wish you had shown a close up of the clips before you put the covers on… or at least pointed them out better… I have a 2010 BMW E60 with slotted and drilled StopTech rotors front and rear… I got the light blue covers (white car/black 20” wheels). it should look awesome but I’m nervous about putting them on… I got the biggest they offered and mine came with hose clamps and tabs so they are different but technically these are all the same… would you mind contacting me about this… I need help… thx
Great video... I think I might have the same ‘front’ Calipers on my Audi Q3 - (approx 210mm in length). I ordered the same Calipers Covers in Medium (240mm Front) and Small (190mm Rear). I thought the 280mm Large would be too big. We’re your ‘Fronts & Rears’ also 240mm and 190mm? Cheers.

@@FL4MEWITHA4 Did they hold up well? I'm still trying to figure out a magnet option for the rear covers vs the tiger glue. I'm thinking of getting some molding clay to see exactly where the cover sits against the rear caliper so I can attach the magnets in the correct spots. Just another 20 bucks on clay and magnets. I'm not even sure my covers will fit yet. They said correct size for my car. But the fronts seem a tad small compared to my current covers.

kavishwara kavinda the callipers don’t get hot only the pads and disc - if you make sure the surface is clean and dry with a nice key for it to stick - then there is no reason for it to fall off 👍🏻

All i see on utube is how to install these but how do i UNinstall these?? Ive had this since last year and i wanna take them off now. These covers were drilled onto my brake calipers so idk whether its safe to just unscrew them as there will be holes on my calipers 🙄

What would you do if the caliper bracket sticks out further than the caliper itself? I cant get mine to touch the main back part of the cover...

@@tommyarmour68 basically I was wondering how one would stick glue on the back of the Brembo cover if there was nothing actually touching the back of the Brembo cover. But the video I linked above uses metal straps to keep the Brembo cover in place safely
