    AND even with the new firmware this mic system has a lot of hiss when connected to a camera. I leave my camera gain low and test several microphones with the same gain level through out and even use the internal recording just to prove it. Outside I don't notice the hiss, likely because of all the noise outside but with good headphones it's totally noticeable and not acceptable at this price point... • @ClaudioDesideriFilms
      @ClaudioDesideriFilms ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I understood from this and other Dji Mic reviews I watched, it seems like the transmitter simply records at -6 db as I haven't heard anybody mentioning the possibility to increase it. If that's the case, I can't see it as a big issue and also I presume it might be something that can be solved on a future firmware release (?) I hope it helps and please check other videos to confirm this and let me know in this comment if you wish :)

    I bought the DJI last week and used it on a shoot, the best difference from my Rode GO 2 is that it doesn't clip as easily.
    The DJI is a bit less sensitive so you need a little bit more gain.
    In a small conference room yesterday I ran the Rode GO and the 2 DJIs and one DJI TX from about 5 meters away was getting some drop outs but the internal recording was perfect.
    I have tested with Rode lav go and lav 2 and smartlav+ and all are compatible.

    As a creator u should have also informed us that DJI mic can also be used with an iPhone n android phones using the adaptor which comes with the case & should have done mic test with the smartphones as well bcoz not everyone uses the DSLR

      If you want to see that, I test all of that. One the reason I started doing microphone testing it I was annoyed how everyone would just test on one device.

    I bought one and I get a high pitched interference when using it with a Sony A7Siii. I have no problems when using it with a A7iii. DJI customer service was of no help trying to solve the problem.

      You gotta try some different 3.5mm cable from DJI to your camera, that should solve it.

      @@The_Essential_Light The A7S3's audio jack has bad shielding against interference apparently. It's a common issue.

      @@MantraConnexions i shouldn’t have to do that though. I should be able to mount the receiver on the hot shoe of the camera and I shouldn’t get any interference. Most people are able to use it this way.

    A lot of money for something that sounds like phone call. Is it really so difficult to make something that sounds natural? A cheap electret capsule and a cable would sound better.

    I got my DJI Mic too and I’m just trying to work out the perfect settings. My voice is loud and deep and I’m having problems with clipping. I already reduced the gain to -2 on my transmitter but im still hearing clipping now and then. I just released a video about the DJI Mic where im talking about that. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to go about that? Thanks 🙌🏼
