This yoga is so relatable even after 9years!! I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome last year. I did Everything I could except surgery. Nothing helped. But this yoga flow came across as a blessing to me. I get immediate results. All that tingling, pins and needles, endless pain disappear as soon as I do this yoga🤯 If I don’t do this for a couple days all those symptoms start coming back. So I do this yoga every single day. Hey 30 mins a day is nothing compared to that awful pain I go through 😥 a big thanks to the instructor 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I've been having neck pain for well over a year now. I've been doing this routine every few days for the past month and half, and my neck is really showing improvement! I'm so excited. Thank you for restoring my faith in my body's ability to heal...priceless!!
Thank you David, I’ve been suffering from severe carpal tunnel for the past six years (at one point I wore wrist guards for a full year, night and day and it was recommended I get surgery). I’ve been working with continued rehabilitation and no longer require the wrist guards unless I’ve done or will be doing some heavy lifting/ moving, though I am extremely week in the arms, shoulders, neck, back, and core area. This yoga routine is exactly what I’ve been looking for; it focuses on the areas connected at an extension to the wrists (not just the wrists alone). I have missed the health and strengthening benefits of yoga for many years, as it was a daily routine at one point, now I can again bring yoga back to my morning and truly begin to heal my wrists.
This was incredibly helpful: the ocean sounds, the slow pace, the rainbow of stretches that got in all those hard to reach spots. The tendonitis in my wrists definitely originates in the blockages in the neck and shoulders- this really made a difference. Thanks a million for your free instruction, David!
Wanted to leave a biiiig thank you at last. This for me is the best and most h elpful yoga sequence for carpal tunnel problems that I've found online. Every time I have problems I come back to this video. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much for this. I’m a digital artist drawing on my ipad for nearly 8 hours a day lately, and it’s caught up to me with nerve pain in my forearm, stiffness all the way up into my shoulders, and high sensitivity even in the skin on my arms. This session was incredible. I’m adding it to my daily routine. Thank you. I’m so grateful. You’ve helped me care for my body so my body can care for me and my ideas. ❤
I was genuinely surprised by the rotator cuff stretch at the end of the video. It something I've never seen incorporated in a video such as this, despite the importance of such a movement. My shoulder, neck, and wrists feel amazing after doing this. Thank you :)
Have been having problems, with what I figured was carpal tunnel syndrome. I'd watched several videos on TH-cam this evening. Glad I came upon yours. I did about 20 minutes of exercise, I have felt substantial relief. Started a Yoga playlist on TH-cam beginning with this video. Look forward to more. Thanks!
I've been practicing power (ashtanga and vinyasa) yoga for a decade, daily. Lately Ive been diagnosed with CTS and my power yoga practice is no longer beneficial for this body. Thank you so much for these asanas. They relieved the pins and needles sensation in my hands and I look forward to practicing this daily so as to avoid steroid injections and surgery. Many carpal tunnel videos focus solely on the wrists but I have found the neck stretches to be crucial in a median nerve release. thank you
Love it!! Love it!! Love it!!! I get a lot of Migraine due to Myofacia pain and these neck stretches are VERY helpful. Thank you so much for puting this on youtube.
i am so happy to see your video i been having pain for awhile and by your rouitine easy the pain. . . thank you appreciate your doing this more power to you
I have had the carpal tunnel surgery and it was just 7 months ago and it is already back, this video is really great seems to help me thank you so much!!
I love this class and do this every Tuesday as part of my weekly ritual. It helps so much to keep things open and has significantly reduced my pain from carpal tunnel! Thanks dude!
Thank you! I am sharing this with many of my clients. ( I’m a massage therapist) You get into those ( corners of the neck) that people come to me for for relief. This helps!
Totally(ouch) Awesome. Sunday morning just before going to the local markets. Thanks so much for this great video and fantastic background. Blessed Be.
Thank you ! Did the whole session today ! Amazing streches and quite clear. Suffering from severe wrist, palm, forarm inflammation, probably originated from the neck
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with the carpal tunnel syndrome and decided against surgery and was very happy to find your routine . it has helped a great deal and I love yoga and would like to do more yoga without making my wrists worse what exercises can I do ? Thank you so much for the releif . Much love
Bless you! Miracle worker. That's the best self massage for my aching shoulder arm hand combo ever! Will share with all of those trapped in the matrix aka desk jobs lol
Computer use occupies most of my waking hours due to work and hobbies so I definitely am starting to feel the strain in my wrists, palms, finger, back, neck and shoulders. I am keen to try this tomorrow but I wonder how often should I do this routine? Thank you so much for making this!
Advice from a physiotherapist - do the movement without the extra stretch with the hand - you'll still benefit from the stretch. The extra pull with the hand may be too much for your neck.
Aalekh Rasal Hi - It's important to talk to a doctor about your condition and yoga. It's a complex problem. Depending on the nature of the problem, certain poses might help and certain poses might aggravate the problem. You need a medical professional's or physiotherapist's advice--hands on--as to which positions you should avoid. Hope that helps!
+Aalekh Rasal hey ,if anyone else wants to discover at home remedy for carpal tunnel syndrome try Zamartar Simple Tunnel Remedy (just google it ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend got amazing results with it.
@@silverfullbuster9177 I'm not sure, just overuse I suppose, playing bass, drawing, gaming, work, all for hours at a time. I also have thoracic outlet syndrome so that could be one of the causes. I saw an OT today actually and they just gave me another brace for my other hand cause its in both, but my main doctor only caught it in the one. They also gave me a resistance band and a handful of stretches and told me good luck😂so hopefully that helps or else surgery would be my last resort, which id like to avoid. .
@@MewsDabest I've also believe I've got tos but have not yet been diagnosed. Got blue hands/white and I'm wondering if my scapula is causing this. I noticed how one of my scapula is misaligned
@@MewsDabest Advice from a physiotherapist: David does other yoga videos, any number of which will help you. Keep moving and good luck. And definitely stay clear of surgery!
Ohh I thought I am the only young one! I’m 26 and just I just have been diagnosed 4 weeks ago. I’m not sure what’s the cause either, doctors are unsure but they said it will go away soon but it doesn’t seem like it 😭probably too much gaming and uni work on computer, healthcare job do not help too 😩

Can someone pls explain last stretch pls...it feels like i am stretching opposite arm that is not working...
Super
My neck pain is gone and my carpel tunnel pain is less. Thank you.
I felt a sharp pain in my neck as I tried this exercise around 6:30. Maybe I dropped the shoulder too low?
Advice from a physiotherapist - do the movement without the extra stretch with the hand - you'll still benefit from the stretch. The extra pull with the hand may be too much for your neck.
How often should these be done? And can they be done after/before working out?
It depends on how much time you spend doing repetitive work with your hands, but daily or every 2nd day would be ideal.
Would this help for wrist tendinitis ? I hope it won't aggravate it. I really need to cure this annoying injury. Please advice
