Woke up this morning and couldn't walk on my right leg - I've been lifting, hiking, and I'm moving so I've been packing and moving a lot of boxes. I'm 57. I knew I had to do this routine - one of my favorites - the pain is gone and I can continue my day. Thank you Fiji!

The mindset coaching during the video and your voice is so smooth and has a natura flow. Thank you.

10 years after this continues to be my one and only yoga routine. No matter if I have problems with my back or legs, this fixes everything for me. I am still grateful. Thank you.

i recently used yoga to rehab an injury and it has worked miraculously. if you run, you really must do yoga. simple isolated stretching is not enough.

    Thanks a lot for this.
I loved the commentary (with its emphasis on breath, relaxing and free mind).
No excitement or change of tone in the the voice, it makes it soothing, i ve watched this a lot, it never gets old.
The poses are nice too, not overwhelming.
Just 1 thing, I noticed, halfway through, after the modified pigeon, i find it difficult keeping up. Maybe increase the duration of the poses ?
    Cheers.

As a novice distance runner, I found this sequence perfect for my sore hips and lower back. Furthermore, I found Fiji's voice soothing, the voice over directions spot on, the ocean in the background worked well to create a peaceful 20 minutes. This will be my go to yoga for running video. Thanks so much for posting!

I love this one and the all Yoga for runner´s series together with the yoga for athletes. they are all part of my regular training routine. Would you do more of them if you have time? Maybe for Triathlets? Namaste´!

I recently hurt my back after completing a half-marathon. I knew that I wasn't stretching enough and that it was leading to increased lower back pain. After 4 days of intense pain, I found this video and followed the poses. I'm relatively new to yoga, but I found it easy to follow and that the poses aren't too difficult for a beginner. The next day I started to feel much better. I've been doing a minimum of 20 minute yoga in addition to this video every night for the past week, and it has helped immensely. There is another lower back pain video that Fiji has done - that one is more focused on yin yoga. This video is more of a power yoga in my opinion, but I prefer this one over the other video.

Fiji, Just loving these shorter yoga sessions for runners!!! I'm training for my 2nd marathon coming up in December and I wanted to implement something extra for the training this year. Starting to implement these as part of my cool down or on rest days like today! New to yoga as well.

A few years ago I went through a period of chronic back pain for about 7 months. Almost everything I did seemed to trigger the pain. However, practicing the routine in this video would help me find a deep release in my back and temporary relief from the pain. I was so grateful.

Love this video. I don't practice yoga but I understand that it would help my body a lot especially as I am a runner. In this video the exercises target all the places that need to be stretched. Thank you.

If I'm running 3 days a week, using the Pre & Post classes every time, how many times a week would you suggest this class?

  • @walcha340

I liked this video. However you went through the poses way too quickly. Others have also commented on this point. Any chance you can please do this routine again but not moving so quickly through the poses? Also I hold most of my tension in my hips which is affecting my running. Do you have a video just on opening up and loosening the hips? Thank you.
