    A friend showed this to me. At first i was thinking it was going to be like $5k which is way to expensive... especially for a pre-launch where mass real time testing is taking place with the first batch of customers. Where issues of Quality control, constancy, parts and total unit durability are tested. But with a price of just about $1k (for pre launch orders). I think it is extremely reasonable. I typically would never buy a first generation expensive type of unit like this... but even if it does half of what it says it can do fairly consistently and last at least 2-3 years (I expect it will last longer) I think it is a good Thousand dollars spent. And I image that this type of equipment will only get better in the not to distance future so I can upgrade and had this unit over to a family member if it is still i good working order. Overall, I think i have reasonable expectations of this unit and find the price to be more that stomachable (arguably even a Good price) what what it should do.

      This thing takes up so much damn space and is over $1000 when fully launched. This cannot be trusted since all companies make things to breakdown when they get much bigger and can afford to lose their initial investors.

      $1000 !? GTFOOH! I could make one for $100 from a spatula attached to a motor and an automated cat feeder.

    How often are those ingredients getting stuck in the containers? You know that here will always be some left clinging to the sides in a plastic box.

    • @eatwithnymble
      @eatwithnymble  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Ingredients get stuck very rarely to the containers and we have deployed various mechanisms by which we ensure that all components of the container are emptied before moving on to the next step!

    Can you let me know the type of camera that is being used in the nimble smart kitchen, does the camera moniter the whole process, is there any computer vision techniques being applied anywhere

    • @eatwithnymble
      @eatwithnymble  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Yes, the camera does monitor the whole process from start to finish of a recipe by using computer vision where it checks for the doneness of the meat, browning of the onions, and so on to give you the perfect meal!

    • @eatwithnymble

      Hi! The Nymble subscription will be optional, and while we are finalizing the pricing, we anticipate it will fall within the range of $30 - $40 per month. This subscription will include several exciting benefits, such as:
      1. Accessibility to all recipes on Nymble, including those from famous chefs.
      2. The ability to create your own recipes from scratch.
      3. Access to various customization options, like adjusting spice levels to your preference.

    Seems like a good way to waste money and food, considering how many times my 3d printer fails, this will probably make a lot of mess... also why do engineers want to replace every job? I hate this trend, Technology is supposed to make life better not harder. Also you still need to do all the prep work, so what time does this really save you? 20 minutes? Just learn how to cook. Save your money that you can put into better kitchen equipment or literally anything else.

    • @eatwithnymble
      @eatwithnymble  ปีที่แล้ว +29

      Hi Katie, thanks for your comments. We're not replacing any job (this isn't for restaurants), we're just giving back time to people every day. Our users report saving about 1 hour on average per day. Plus if you're not interested in chopping, you could also get meal kits!
      Yes, everybody should learn how to cook, but it's not accessible. We believe that someone needs to cook only if they want to, not because they have to. Especially the chore of cooking. But it's not for everyone, we get it :)

      All the chopping and prep work can be done once a week (just freeze the ingredients). Then it's basically a restaurant at home, the only concern I have is about cleaning the machine

      @@Nick_the_gamer21 if they had disabilities, this probably would not help much, prep work is the most involved part of cooking most meals.
