My black ws6 w/136k miles is full bolt-on SBE, tick performance polluter cam, and nitrous outlet two stage plate and has been running a 250 shot for about 2 years now with no signs of problems on a WOT switch. I think the current record is a 400 shot on a SBE.
Nice job so far. I just turned 61 & still have a 02SS. Stock ls1, long tubes w/ 4 mufflers, no’s NExpress, TX S stag3 & valve trans, qui k 9” 4:56 , duel c m6, pro 5.0 shifter, frame conn . 90/10s 50/50 skinny’s & 305/40/17s I run 1/4s in the 10s, 7:10 1/8rh cold track, heads up, keep oil changed & always have 1000psi or else: over that runs rich. Less runs lean. Get it tuned by a tuner , copper plugs 2* colder & a lingenfelter retarder. I think I beat my car and it still laughs at me. Go have fun😊
Hey mate, I am from Australia I have a black Holden Vy SS ute that comes with a ls1 in it Currently in the shop getting a 125hp shot ready to go, my motor is high mileage too lol so we will see how it goes Such a great motor the lump you get with a cam is unbeatable! Good luck with the rest of the build My car is on TH-cam too from the guys who have done the work, Thier channel is boostgumps if you get bored, will be another video soon with the nitrous installed
people giving yeah a hard time about the trap door should see my access hole in my 99' Camaro! I've just got a old piece of galvanized metal laying over the hole with a few dabs of silicone. Been like that since 03'. Still my best mod ever!
150hp should hold but at some point lack of ring gap will likely sneak up on you, butt the rings together and crack the top of the piston and then it's game over...good luck though!

The trans and converter still stock? How about the rear end?
@yotasavage7304 it's a T56 car, rear end is still the stock 10 bolt and no noise/whine yet.

My LS1 vette had 155k miles when I put a 125 shot to it. Put 40+ bottle through it before I sold it never had an issue.
Was the 125 instant or progressive
@@Tazerect all at once she didn’t make crazy power so it hooked all of it even from digs.
My 00 SS is still all stock minus straight pipes. Only 30K og miles.

Will an ls1 aluminum bottom end hold the boost or will it crack?
Yes it will up to around 700hp
I wouldn't go past 15O or so with that plate.
