Hey man im touching base with ya. I got my fuel system ironed out and did a couple pulls. 12.3 on motor and on a small shot with low bottle pressure was able to get a 11.8 so not bad

bra tune the idle air controller . Its not base off nothing to do with the transmission its all load base , zero out the adaptive tables and base off load thats tuning 101 fromt he earlier 2000

Yes it will up to around 700hp

dunk or brush on the acetone and wipe away the residue. it will take longer this way, and get gummy and messy at first, but eventually it will be removed.

people giving yeah a hard time about the trap door should see my access hole in my 99' Camaro! I've just got a old piece of galvanized metal laying over the hole with a few dabs of silicone. Been like that since 03'. Still my best mod ever!

There's video of my car from Piedmont on Thursday and I think you're right from saying that you need a Holley Terminator cuz the stock PCM is wasting your time
Yes. I wanna have all of my accessories wired into the holley that way i can eliminate some of the accessories. Holley will have everything thst i need. I never knew how much of a pain in the butt the stock computer was until now

Its alway the little things. Are you planning on getting a new tank or fuel cell? Or try to clean the one you have?
@@LsDarrious everything I've seen involves removing it and using muriatic acid. If I'm going that far rock auto has a galvanized tank that's powder coated on the outside for $170 bucks. So while I'm down there I'll do the C5 filter/regulator swap and run new fuel lines up so I know I'm good. Then find a way to clean my injectors.

Leash makes a box that makes it even simpler and it’s very affordable it has the relays built in
So you're running a two-step and a trans break?? Which to me you would either want one or the other and not both.....?? I've got a 98 SS that's very similar to your car and I just put the Holley Terminator X on it and it's a game changer..... I used to have a lingenfelter box like you and all that stuff but the Holly is so much better anyway my buddy runs a Street Car thing at Piedmont on Wednesday nights that's only $20 to make passes but seeing since it's raining today we're scheduled for tomorrow track opens at 5pm thought you might want to know

I had an idea that you weren't to far away but just so you know.......check Piedmonts schedule we usually try to do it at least once a month and it's half price compared to Sunday Funday

Awesome video, I took my 28” front runners off immediately when I got them 26” is perfect. Pretty cool to see you got stock 241s. In all honesty this car is pretty much stock with a mild cam spraying a baby shot running low to mid 10s. You may have seen my post on fbody empire with the dragy running 12.91 header only on the street. Gonna work on suspension LCA/panhard etc and try to get a low 12 then I already have my cam ready to go. After that 243s FP/Injectors e85. Just takes time money and know what parts it needs. Keep it up
Yessir you are absolutely correct. Chevy was definitely ahead of their time when they came out with the ls engine. They are so cheap but also reliable and people go really fast with almost stock configuration’s weather they are running boost or nitrous. And it wont be a problem running low 12’s. I ran 12.2 with a 10 bolt 4l60 headers and a converter with no other supporting mods other than a tune.
Sped up with them Joe Dirt racing mufflers on it 😅

Thank you. My car has the factory fender wells. But i am running a 2 inch shorter rear end so the wheels are 15x10-5.5 back space

They’re the same bro. Slot them shits and make it fit. Unfortunately when you have to work on the car at the track this is what ends up happening. I have a very similar exhaust setup but mine has an X-pipe in front of the dumps. It’s tight but it fits no problem. Also comparing those times with no normalization for weather conditions is not really apples to apples. If the density altitude was 2000 on your 7.48 pass and it was -500 for your 7.33 then the tune up changes may not have gained you anything. There are calculators online to account for the weather changes vs your et changes.
I was trying to do the x pipe with the dumps but the muffler guy said that he couldn’t do it because of my torque arm was in the way. But I would have been happy with the dumps without the x pipe. But my buddy got me all fixed up now. Yes I could agree with you but it had to have been -DA. It was 51 degrees. And I forgot to mention that on my last pass the track went away and it spun bad for about 100 foot out so that played a major part in it running what it ran. We are gonna try again in about 2 weeks bro
@@LsDarrious I actually have my x pipe tucked off to the right so it’s next to the torque arm. Is not possible to do it straight down the middle.
