Beautiful winter scenery in Minnesota, nothing like it! One thing people don't realize is that the work load you have to put in to have an off-grid home. You showed how much work you have to put in and it is day after day. Have a wonderful holiday season!
It’s great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Watching Skeeter in the snow just brings me joy. He is such a happy boy. I could sit in the cabin by the fire for weeks with a stack of books and some warm drinks. So cozy! That lifestyle requires a lot of work, but it's so rewarding. Beautiful world you live in!
Just love skeeter bouncing around so much fun for dogs,I live where it doesn’t snow in my town but I do love it I miss the snow I left the uk 43 years ago and still miss the snow.
I will be 70 this coming March 2023 and watching you work brings back so many great memories of my younger days when I too kept wood in the house and pulled firewood on one of my Daughters sleds before I had a snowmobile to do the work. I also had a pair of those white Mickey Mouse Boots. I still burn wood during the day mostly and turn on the pellet stove at night in case I decide to sleep in a little after all I am retired but as I have to constantly remind the wife, (I'm not dead yet) I still like to do the manual labor. I say to you young man to enjoy these wonderful days because they pass so quickly and you won't realize it's happened.
@@secretnewmeta1981So true. Especially with the price of building materials these days. You’ll need tens of thousands at least even after you purchase the land.

I am. Also in MN. And have heard it is best to leave the trees alone. The ice then snow does less damage than the possible breaks a person causes. Who knows, I too sometimes do the same. Two days ago from the same storm maybe.
