Greetings from Norway. I`ve seen hundreds of cabin videos. FINALLY I see someone thats prepared and stored firewood before winter. And puts wood into cabin before he leaves. I always do this myself. I see hundreds others coming to cabins empty of wood. And they stand in the dark sawing and chopping raw wood. But I guess it adds to the content this struggle. But its not very much ``prepping``.
We had a cabin on Georgian Bay in Ontario, sold it in 2021, this video made me smile, I always went up in March for a few days just to cut and stack wood , usually about 3 bush cords and always for I year ahead, wood was stacked in a lean to I built about 10 feet from. The front door, wood had a full years to dry and much easier in winter, great memories
My daddy would cut, split and stack our wood in the shed. He then covered it with tarps. He had built a nice, big, tightly closed wood box and put it outside the kitchen door for my mom. My brother and I made about a million trips pulling the wood to the shed in our wagons before we could go fishing and swimming. So, I would really suggest trying something like that, whether you just have a small cabin or big one. After we all finished he'd say, "well kids, the wood is in for the winter"
I have watched you from the time you and your wife started this cabin and it must be nice to go to sleep next to that fire at night. Good job the cabin turned out nice.
I enjoyed the time we had together! Where I live, in the south central USA, we cannot store wood in the underpinning of such a cabin…the termites would infest it in no time and get into the logs of the cabin too! But this must be far enough north that southern termites cannot overwinter!
Welcome back. I just adore your beautiful cabin. I hope we get to see more content soon. Thank you for sharing and stay warm until next time God Bless❤
The 'Welcome Mat' is an extension of their warmth and spirit, inviting Sasquatch and any other of their guests to share their abode and bounty. I believe the door lock prevents them from becoming 'Door Mats' only to those who do not share that same warmth and spirit. 🏴☠🏴☠
Tis a fine cabin you have, full of careful craft. I would be a bit concerned about the low and wet site but you have caused a great refuge to be made for 1-2 persons.
This is such a cozy looking place. I just love cold-weather living, it feels much more 'earned' to me. Someday I'll live way up north in a beautiful snowy spot, no more of this horrendous heat and humidity for me. Loved the video, thanks.
Why don't you split wood when its not covered in snow? I watch so many outdoorsman spilt wood during the cold winter. When I lived in cold country I would spend my summer/fall splitting wood for the winter/spring. I usually spilt 10 cord of wood and have about acord left at the end of heating in the spring.
I was thinking the same thing! Your wood should be cut , split and stored for winter ! Also drives me crazy when the wood shed is no where near the cabin ! We attached the wood shed to the cabin, have a door to load and store 2 cord and a door in the cabin to access wood, no going outside as wood is within 10’
Not sure why he's splitting so much wood.....he had kindling, the fire's going and there's probably a cord of mostly split logs in the shed....Lucky to have that fuel for sure!
Guys it’s just a TH-cam cabin he doesn’t live in the cabin. He just poses there. Nobody splits their firewood in the snow. The firewood is all split before the first snowfall.

Always think about the next person that's coming along .

I shouldn't think anyone would leave a cabin without stacking wood instead more than once
greetings from alaska
No music, that's my favorite thing. This is peaceful and healthy.
there is nothing like a warm cabin on a cold day !! you built the perfect size cabin and you did a great job
There's just not a better feeling when it's cold out than having a good meal and retiring next to a fire and waking up just in time for breakfast😊
And a hot cup of coffee of course.😊

This is my idea of heaven . I truly find peace, watching this. What a beautiful landscape for a great cabin. Thank you 😊
Yes the video caught my interest at NO 💀 TALKING ☄️🫂❤❤️🩹🥰🌹💯🪖💀👻🪬😁
probably the prettiest little cabin I've seen
I never realized how much work is involved in setting up a comfy, cozy night.
nothing better to do
the best way to spend time
love the sasquatch statue
I wonder if they do see things that go bump in the night
I have watched you from the time you and your wife started this cabin and it must be nice to go to sleep next to that fire at night. Good job the cabin turned out nice.
Awesome place
What an awesome video. Thanks for sharing!

Ohhh! I wish I was there!!! Mike. 😊😊😊
Glad to see he's prepared the kindling.
Thats critical for a successful fire to really get going 😊🪖💀💯😇👼🏾👼🏼🌐🥳👋👍🔥🫡🚸❤😁.
After toiling away in the summer heat and humidity of Houston, TX, today, this was a welcome escape - if only in my mind……..👍
UH grad. I hear you.
And, he's got his dry food in glass jars. Bravo. No unwanted pests !!😊

Loved your Sasquatch theme in and on the cabin.
I enjoyed your video. Save that bacon grease to add to those dried beans in the jars to cook them with.
What a great idea!
Que lugar lindo...
Its nicer than living in the city😊
❤❤❤❤💯
Decor on your door say,"welcome ". The lock says,"stay out". Beautiful scenery

And a loaded shotgun says I MEAN IT!!
I’d have to bring my Husky Shepard with me for company. ❤❤❤❤
Peaceful, what a great getaway. So quiet.
I especially love that slow flowing river … so peaceful! ❤
What a cosy winter cabin and stays
Thank you
Greetings from Texas
like the cabin
Excellent video. Truly enjoyed it.
Welcome back another good one 👍
If I was ever caught in the the woods I would be praying this man came along
I certainly appreciate no talking, far more peaceful. Watching this in Seattle, Washington State, USA
I built a bigger log cabin with my Lincoln Logs set. At least, that’s how it looked when I was 4.
Beautiful place beautiful cabin
Nice stove to cook on an keep warm
Tis a fine cabin you have, full of careful craft. I would be a bit concerned about the low and wet site but you have caused a great refuge to be made for 1-2 persons.
I like your cabin.
I guess we will never find out what those small things he widdled are for lol
I'm not really looking to get the best
Nice video. Thanks for sharing this with me 😄
Heaven? Pretty close to it.

Love your little slice of Heaven! The simple life is so peaceful … Congrats!
I never knew pinecones were so flammable
I have a huge basket of them for my fire, collect them as I see them.
That is a beautiful location there. Stunning. Great video. 🍻
Love your Bigfoot decor.
A nice little video it was!!!!
I love log cabins. Yours looks so inviting. All you need is a dog to keep you company,
😊 super
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
I would have stayed another day & night!
Another decade would’ve been nice! 😂
I use pine cones too to get my fire going

Real men split snow covered wood when it's 5° and they like it! Braun over brains.
It's just a TH-cam cabin.
He needed a video of splitting wood or it wouldn’t match all the other you tube videos of snowy cabins 😂
That being said I do enjoy these videos for some reason in spite of also splitting wood before the snow falls.
A dog would love it there❤
Best video mate
Helo nice ❤🎉👌🤝😨💪💝💝
Greetings from Brandenburg 14 grd ☀️🍺🍺🇩🇪
Not sure why he's splitting so much wood.....he had kindling, the fire's going and there's probably a cord of mostly split logs in the shed....Lucky to have that fuel for sure!
Great cabin....but you have a "thing" for Sasquatch, it looks like! Nothing wrong with that, but pretty obvious!
That's the life
Very nice. Why did you build the cabin so close to the river? Aren't you afraid of spring flooding?
Nice 😊
Thank you
you should have a piece of metal between the wall and the wood stove
Outside of the swinging the hatchet towards your holding hand, I loved and subscribed....
Liebe Grüße und Unterstützung von einem kleinen Kanal aus Deutschland...
Does anyone know what he made by drilling the hole in the section of log, then fitting the other piece of wood?🤔
I was wondering the same thing myself
coat rack
He was a Canadian with black smoke stacks and a rig full of railroad ties. Maybe. 💯
I wouldn’t want to leave.
I like to watch it but yet I’d rather live in the South. No snow. No cold weather.
No bugs.
Looked like a perfect weekend at the cabin. What was the temperature?
It was in the lower 30s all day got down 20s at night beautiful weather
You're a real little chatter box aren't you?
These videos always show two things: splitting firewood and making coffee
and cooking way too much food for one person
Guys it’s just a TH-cam cabin
he doesn’t live in the cabin.
He just poses there.
Nobody splits their firewood in the snow.
The firewood is all split before the first snowfall.
Beautiful!!! Hand drill next time!!!
I wouldn't want to leave either!!! I enjoyed your video! New subscriber from Tennessee!
Awesome! Thank you!
Me to if I didn’t have 3 cords split and two more in the round I’d say I’d been lazy
I hate people, this is heaven !
I can’t help but ask, where’s the bathroom?
Where the grizzlies unload their's.
SHHHHHHH! NO TALKING!
whereabouts is the cabin?
on a river, totally awesome
The cabin is on the Muskegon river in northern Michigan
