From a 40 year carpenter/ cabinetmaker, you did an awesome job. One question, you burn the wood for appearance purposes but does it serve any other, like insects, rot proofing etc?
love the charing process. it looks beautiful the way it shows the grain in the wood and the colour is awesome. i dont think yu can buy stain that colour.

[PRO TIP]...When building anything your joints should be staggered and not meeting up on the same joist, stud, or rafter. Stagger your joints for strength 💪 of construction. Never have all your joints land on same support.
I have been watching his channel for a couple of years now. He has already started another cabin on his property that is being constructed with logs from trees he cuts down.
