I watched you since I was 8, I did not know how to get my line on a bobber and a hook. You helped me in my fishing career and you are a good memory to have. I am honestly sad that you quit TH-cam, but I understand you. If you see this comment, I wish you your best in life man!
Hey thanks for the nice comment I appreciate you returning back. Its nice to know I’ve become a good memory for you and I’m happy that I’ve been able to help you get started. That was the goal of my old videos. I had to quit TH-cam to focus on my life and career. I’m 25 now with my oldest video being uploaded 12 years ago. I’ve finished university and now working a full time job. However, the fishing has never stopped 😉 Making videos again has been on my mind lately and many have requested it. The new fishing season has just kicked off. We’ll see what happens. - Phill
That pocket is to hold spools if line. The little port [ looks like something for head phones] is so you can feed the line through. Fast way to make leaders. I just bought one today 39.95 at Walmart. Since your video the did change the zipper pulls to rubber.
Aliyan Muhammadi hey I appreciate the love and support. I needed to take a break last year from personal reasons. Went through a terrible breakup and such. I’ve been meaning to get back into making videos but university took a lot of my time. Expect new videos this summer :)
Great vid! I’m pretty sure I’m going to pull the trigger and buy it. A question I like to ask is what’s your second choice, if you could have this one which pack would you buy?
LoL that's funny I was just thinking they need to make a tackle box backpack then happened across your tutorial for double hooks on a line finger slipped and ended up here lol now I know they exist lol cheers
PhillipAndWorld dumbest question ever but have you ever washed your bag 😂and if you did, did it get messed up ? Some anchovies fell all over my bag while fishing for stripper and it smells bad
never gave my bag a deep wash. just sprayed off some dirt and that's about it. Yikes anchovies on the bag... good luck with that one! might have to check with flambeau on how to properly wash the bags.
Celtic Highlander&AHook I fish a lot. Just don’t film as much as I used too. Had to take a break last year to work on personnel matters. Now that summer started you should be seeing new videos up soon :)

I got the Flambeau pro-Angler soft tackle backpack- kinetic blue like it little more than the IKE little bit bigger for me a weekend trip retty for whatever. I looked at all that Flambeau offers I don't want to big and not to small. The bag is made out of canvas. I like the Ike but was a bit small to the pro-Angler the heritage is to big for all day carrying.
I fit a 32oz Hydro Flask in the netted side pockets but it makes the zipper pocket sort of useless. I can only fit small gear like crab guage and hand tools (screwdrivers/brushes/picks) with the water bottle. If you can fit most of the tackle you need in one tackle box there’s enough room in the main pocket for a bottle.
that one and the bass pro shops bag ($30) seem to be the best for under $50. i prefer the bass pro but its ugly as hell. cant use 3700 trays with it either but you can prob fit 9 3600 trays in it if ya wanted to.
holy shit I just realized that you're the same guy who did the fishing bobber/hook tutorial, you got me started on fishing
Same here

The hole in the left side is to spool your reel up that’s why that “cup holder” pouch is there next to the hole I use it all the time for leaders
Respect on using the bag for a year before making a video. Gives you a real genuine opinion of it. Good shit bro🤙🏻
Thanks man! tight lines!
Wow...that very funtional carrying backpack case...i like it...tq for sharing

oh interesting i did not see that little port. Makes a lot more sense now thanks for letting me know. Haha maybe they are listening to my complaints!
@@PhillipAndWorld hope so, its how we can get them the information needed to make these improvements. Field R&D is valuable.
Bro I loved your videos man! Where have you been lately. I know the pandemic has hit hard and kinda messed things for everyone. Hope your doing well!

Thank you, my fisherman friend. You are skilled in fishing techniques🎣🍑

Are you able to put a drink anywhere on the sides?
Oh yeah there is plenty of room. The sides are almost a foot deep.

i loved you in "Homemade Cherry Bomb" circa July 25th 2013
Would put soft plastics in the side pockets. Can’t fish without them.
Kentucky BassinYT Absolutely. I stuffed the side pockets with several bags of plastics.
They also changed to two tool holders to mesh, not solid cordura like yours.
the ones on my backpack are mesh
after a year of heavy use my shoulder straps ripped off :(
Ben S you must of really put your bag into some heavy use! My bag is still in amazing condition
@@PhillipAndWorld yeah too much lead I guess. I think I can resew it.
you should get me one
