Polyamory seems like the healthiest choice for people that aren't naturally monogamous. Every polyamorous couple I've seen has had a somewhat healthy outlook regarding love, attachment, security, trust etc.

I'm just realizing I could have lived with a man at 18 without my parents even knowing. Parents are just happy to get you out of the house but rarely check up where you are. I thank the Holy Spirit for protecting me throughout my teenage years, I was essentially in a vulnerable position. No teachings at home about boys, sex etc. They just give you pocket money and hope you'll attend varsity classes and pass. ..I'm sorry I'm just triggered that alot of us teenage girls are thrust in the world without any guidance or protection. I had exactly the opposite experience. My parents still continue to pry in my business even now as I'm 30 years old. I've made many mistakes and I sometimes think had I been living my life for myself and not my parents, things might have been smoother. So some degree of freedom is good I think.
And also...I still dated older guys and found that life fascinating even with my parents always in my face. At the end of it all, we are our own people and our paths are unique. We like different things. No matter how much you pull me away from it...if I want it I'll go for it.

I don't know why you are making the assumption that her parents did not guide her properly in life. Not everyone grows up the same and just because someone grew up differently from you, it doesn't mean they did not grow up in a nurturing and loving environment. If you think your parents controlling your every decision and not teaching you about boys was a good way to be raised, and you turned out fine, then good for you.

Yes the couple was not open, I felt that Fletcher should have been allowed to speak in his mother tongue so he could be more expressive. I would’ve also loved to see the 3rd lady there. Also he said his not gay his straight but said “ok” to her getting another man and being in a relationship does that mean his also dating that man?/ just from her side. Protection wise? Do they use it cos the 3rd party can’t really be trusted. Does the 3rd party feel comfortable because these two are the original so does she really feel included?. A lot lacked. But DEFF not for me I’m too jealous of a human being.

The fact that the guy refused to marry her , Dated her at 18 and keeps saying that things can change and that they might even break up are major red flags. He is more comitted to the lifestyle that u sisi introduced him to and not usisi herself. This is a very porus relationship held together by lust as the foundation. What's worse is that there is a baby involved... I am not against this lifestyle but living on temporary terms when something permanent is involved could be destructive in the future. I actually wouldn't mind this. I've done it sexually but would have loved for it to continue on an everyday basis. But the logistics were not balancing out for me. My faith doesn't allow for one... By the way to the OP, you're absolutely correct. I always say most human beings are non monogamous. This is evident even in the way people go out of their way to "stay monogamous" by "resisting temptation." The fact that we have to work soooo hard to not fall in love with other people while with others or feel guilty about being wildly attracted to someone else. With all that said, I agree 100% with you and the analogy I always make is; apples to apples. Oranges to oranges. Was actually having this conversation with a mate of mine who has two very serious relationships and neither one of the women know that they're both "main chicks." So I was saying to him, dude, just go and date non monogamous women cause this double life is stressing him so much that he is even losing weight. I told him "Look, you're an orange. Find other oranges and be happy. Chasing after apples your whole life will always cause you this stress and misery and is completely unfair to the apples."

Personally, I've been in these types of relationships, and I found out that they don't work for me. Similar to how open this guy was, I was like that up until a point where I realised that the girl I was with had issues, relationships like these never become serious... they are a lifestyle/habbit and you can never discuss the future because things always change to satisfy a sexual desire. I believe everyone should try these (they are way better than cheating, cheating is just filthy), these kinds of relationships make you experience something rare about life. For me it was lesson and I am glad I got to be in such, I've learned so much about the human by being in such relationships. As long as you know what outcomes of these are, they are wonderful to be in.

All I can say is the transfer of energies acquired from sex can be cleansed if you know your way around the spirit (in fact one of the reasons why I left such a relationship was that multiple sex partners makes one filthy in terms of spiritual cleanliness). I don't know if this is similar to what a soul tie but that's the case.
@@Mythandrist I know but there is a dynamic of sacrifce that's happening from one partner or the other. For example in this interview you can really tell that the guy is naturally monogamous but is being open because of the girl. In my case I was experimenting because the suggestion came and I had a chance to go at it.... at the core of it sexual desire was the main driving point from my perspective (I learned a lot). Yes somethings do work for some people but I don't think it has benefits in social terms, spiritual terms or even family dynamics.
