@@stasy_yellowlol that's the actual actor's reaction. He was so done with that scene. Funny enough is that he absolutely hates roles with singing and dancing but some of his roles have dancing in them.
Yeah. But I heard in an interview that Ol Parker asked them to go off and choreograph their own little parts. By the way, it's not just Cher. Look at Amanda and Dominic. They didn't have any dynamic choreography.
I'm definitely looking into it too much, but at 1:42, everyone comes together to introduce Donna, symbolizing how they all helped make her into the person she is now. Her friends, the men she loved, and her own younger self all played key roles in her getting to that point. To singing that song again, in that setting. I love it.
I love how at the end everyone’s dancing with their youngest selfs just having so much fun and then Harry’s like..nope...he’s literally ignoring himself
Love it . I love how they got Cher on of the biggest music icons from the 60's and 70 's to perform an iconic song from another iconic 70's group. @@oliviakohler464 Always reminds me of the end of Pixar’s Coco, where you have the emotional scene with the song that practically causes you die of dehydration and then pretty much right into the party number to round out the movie.
@@oliviakohler464 Related: I just remembered a great moment in Mark Kermode's review. Abba are one of his favourite bands of all time and 'My Love, My Life' is his absolute favourite song of theirs. As a result, by the end of that number in the film, he was bawling his eyes out so hard to felt he had to leave the theatre so as not to distract the other critics. One of the them was kind enough to go get him and tell him (paraphrasing, "you've got to come back, buddy. Everything's going to be OK.") Just a really nice moment from a, normally, fairly taciturn person and certainly spoke volumes of the emotional power of the film. I believe he gave both Mamma Mias 5-star reviews, which, given his usual standards, is both wonderful and hilarious. Don't get me wrong, I adore the first film, I really do, but on a technical level... let's be kind and say it has a few issues.
"The sight of you will prove to me I'm still alive" Hearing Donna sing that made me burst into tears coz it sounded like she was telling us and every one else that she's still alive in every heart she filled her love in and each of the lives she touched with her beauty. After I watched Mama Mia: Here We Go Again, I swore to myself to never watch it again because of the fact that Donna's unexpected death broke me so much despite seeing how her life turned out to be. Seeing Sophie all on her own, being pregnant and not having her mom beside her to help her raise the grandson she was suppose to raise as well. Watching this clip gave me even more reason to not watch the sequel once again and stick with the first movie coz I know I will be bawling my eyes out when Donna suddenly appeared in the christening of Sophie's son.
I started listening to ABBA around mid July and watched both the og film and the sequel around the end of the month. I’m a guy but even still I was crying during the ending scene with Donna’s appearance during the christening of Sophie’s son

Man I remember watching this and laughing while still crying from the earlier emotional wreck of a scene in the cinema. Been watching Mamma Mia since it first came out when I was 3, and the sequel did not disappoint. I loved it.
What I find funny is that Meryl Streep is only 3 years younger than Cher. Cher is 73 this year, and Meryl is 70, close enough in age to be sisters yet Cher is playing her mother. 😂😂
Thats really cool how they made the end credits like the end of a Broadway musical - where the entire cast does a number together, after the show. It's like the ending is saying - you've just finished watching a stage show. Would have been cool if the director came out after and took a bow.

If they made more 🤨
Alessandra Pinton huh? If they made more movies, this is how I would name them :)
Natasha Sarin thanks :D
You comment this on every mamma Mia vid
@Mari a there’s nothing wrong with sharing my own ideas of what the future Mamma Mia movie names are in some mamma Mia videos. 😊
Mari a I’m not trying to hate btw 😄
Idk why but seeing them dancing with their younger selves is really wholesome to me. 😊😊
My favorite fun fact about this is they choreographed that part themselves. They were given literally, like, 2 minutes, to come up with something
Young Harry: being happy
Old harry: was this me-
1:26 I never imagined I would see Karen Smith sing with Howard Stark
XD
Oh yes Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper!
Dr. Selvig (that's off the top of my head) is there too! Along with Molly Weasly, (the spelling is messing with my head, I can't remember where the second "e" goes! Arrghh) James Bond and...and...that's all I got!
@@hgftrew1992 Weasley 😁
@@hgftrew1992 also Mr Darcy and Leonard's mom (from the big bang theory)
2:28 THE POSE I CRIED
Damn Lily really does know how to move...so precise and smooth. A natural.
I love Mamma mia 💕
Considering meryl Streep wasn’t in so many scenes lily James did an excellent job playing Donna
3:08 to 3:11 it's my favourite part, it just looks so catchy
This is the first time I have seen this and I found myself grinning like an idiot for the entire duration.
This scene proves that music can just produce sheer unfiltered joy for anyone that listens to it
I love how their all vibin with their younger and older selves
Well except Harry tho🤣
I love the change of Meryl Streep’s voice. Her singing has greatly improved since the first one
Cher and Meryll , when they stand beside each other: The ICONS!!!
I love this movie for how much it pulled off. "How do we make a sequel without the main character?" "We make it about her anyway"
I like the extra intro added to this song. (0:00-0:28) It's so well-made. I also love that it includes the melody from the song "Gimme, gimme". So unique.
Even Cher no need so much effort to produce beautiful voice like that :”)
I love both of the films since the cast make me so close with them and make me happy! Totally one of the best movies and best movies credits everrrr
2:53 my fav scene... full of tears..
i will forever love this scene but will never understand how they found such perfect actresses to play young donna, rosie and tanya because they look so alike!
Only Sophie and Sky are wearing purple because they themselves were the younger version in the previous movie! I love this song ❤
3:33 that's so sweet
Guys I slept off with my earphones in, woke up by 4am and this was playing in my ears...it was the most beautiful thing ever!!😭❤
I can't get over Donnas death it just makes me feel so lucky to still be able to live with my parents around and it's heartbreaking and soul crushing to know one day I'll be without them
Chloe Durrant it’s only a character and it happens to everyone really unless they die before their parents so calm down.
Hayden Harrison I have the right to an opinion and I'm not prohibited to express emotion
Chloe Durrant did I say you couldn’t, no I didn’t I wast just stating my opinion which I’m Entitled to, So stfu
1:43 everyone in the theater was so hyped. I was too but I was sitting there like "wait, but I thought she died" XD
I was 11 and I remember my grandparents and my sisters and my mom and my aunt and I going crazy and dancing and singing along in the cinema
Man I remember watching this and laughing while still crying from the earlier emotional wreck of a scene in the cinema. Been watching Mamma Mia since it first came out when I was 3, and the sequel did not disappoint. I loved it.
I am so happy that the main cast here from the old movie, BUT THERES CHER THE LEGEND? I am very happy.
This Moment when the great Grandma seems younger than her daughter😂😂
Kofferkombination 12345 I like the little reunion with Ruby and her daughter Donna 🥰
You know Cher is in her 70s?
What I find funny is that Meryl Streep is only 3 years younger than Cher. Cher is 73 this year, and Meryl is 70, close enough in age to be sisters yet Cher is playing her mother. 😂😂
Maybe they just can't find any other actress a decade and a half older than Merryl, who can still jive and sing
@@tia-jadeallen345 Cher keeps herself in as good a condition as she can so it can be made to work when it has to.
Thats really cool how they made the end credits like the end of a Broadway musical - where the entire cast does a number together, after the show. It's like the ending is saying - you've just finished watching a stage show. Would have been cool if the director came out after and took a bow.

Wow the effort is 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will never get tired of ABBA songs in Mamma Mia franchise.
Love this scene so much! Such a great ending for the movie. It's so heartwarming, beautiful and funny.
Cher, Meryl Streep, Lily James And Amanda Seyfried Is My Favorite Cast Of Mamma mia! 2, I❤️CMLA!
