In love with Sargo. I don't know why but I love it. Maybe the utter convenience, the ruggedness and elegance, the modernity and the pilot deck with these large screens
Now you're in my territory (Seattle)! Lots & lots of cool places to boat in and out of Seattle on up through Vancouver. Lots of islands & adventures up there and in the summer time - the weather couldn't be any nicer.
That's the biggest 28' I've ever seen 🔥 Sweet engine room, with Volvo power very nice. I really enjoy seeing the Seattle boat show, especially how the boats are rigged differently than on the East Coast. Like engine brackets seem to be more prevalent on the west coast. Great video Alfred 👍
I've noticed a trend, it's all about the above deck and the critter comforts, but really makes a bout, is the shape of it's belly, the draft, the underwater line displacement, and what pushes it threw the water like prop
3 mpg at 28 knots - yeah, I'm calling BS on that! Amazingly he said that looking you straight in the eye. Deep V category B gale force rated heavy boat. The Finns are great boat builders but still have to contend the same physics as us mere mortals.
Hi Percival, I guess I am a bit busted :) SARGO factory testing has not been done on this new 28 with the DPI motors from Volvo, I do know that Volvo expects similar performance from this D4 320 DPI as the D4 300 DPH, could be a little better or worse. The SARGO factory tested the 300 DPH on slightly brackish water, cold conditions, with bottom paint and light load and got 2.94 MPG at 25.6 knots/ 3000 rpm and at 2.94 MPG at 28.6 knots/ 3200 RPM. I haven't gone back to listen but I usually say, as I did here, about 3 MPG at 28 knots. Based on this factory testing I think that is pretty accurate.
@@briankrantz4807 I'm skeptical, but if true I apologize for my snarky comment. It would be amazing if it got that kind of economy for such a seaworthy and fast vessel! It'd certainly make me want one!
As a Targa 27.1 owner I have to admit that I am a bit jealous each time a go in to a Sargo. It is so much smarter than the Targa BUT I believe the Targa somehow is a bit nicer in some way. But the Sargo is for sure much more clever in their solutions.
not a big fan of wood finish inside , looks to 80's .Dark gray laminate , leather or even gray stain on the wood , to match sofa color would look more sharp.
Looks like you had a great time in Seattle! Really enjoying the videos from the show
It was epic !
@@AlfredMontaner Epic! That’s a bold statement… with a statement like that I might have to put it on the list of things to do

You really love boats Alfred, thanks for making another great video

Great video Alfred 👍
Funny and informative video. What a boat!!! To build a boat like this is very complex. Thank you for this video.
That is a lot of boat in 28'! Love it.
Very nice boat.
You should put price points as well. Absolutely beautiful boat
Hi Shawn, Base Boat pricing is upper 200's to mid 300's. This is before shipping and any local tax. I hope this helps.

That is the most beautiful engine room ever

3:30 I hate the inboard/outboard, but I'm sold on the dash and ajustible wheel

@@percivalgooglyeyes6178 let's go for a sea trial and see!
Is there a 28 with outboards?
Do a video on Aluminium landing craft
IF it were your money...which company would you buy with? Botnia or Sargo? Great review!

That aft berth needs a window...
We have them on every larger size 👍
Could one fit a kicker motor on the 28
Do they make the 28 in an aft door?
Stern drive = deal breaker. But very nice boat.
What's the price difference between the 28 and 31?
7:35 now that a good spot fer a diesel engine and a large fish Hold
The only thing this boat needs is a flip up back rest for that front seating area with 2 cup holders.
Do they have floatation to make her safer?
Price?

Boy, the 31 sure makes a massive difference for only a few more feet. Much prefer the 31.
where is the bait tank ????
How much?

sargo 25 is the smalest not the 28
An all black boat going to Costa Rica in the tropics??? WTF? That's dumb.
They let you wear shoes on new boats?
We do! Sometimes if the boat has been Sold and the owner is letting us us them they will ask for no shoes.
So small and cramped…looks like a bad design compared to others at this size…for me big NO.
