Such great production quality on these reviews - very well done! I’d personally go with a Targa as they hold their value better than Sargos and Nord Stars, and would go with one of Targa’s outboard models as they have even more storage space in the rear and are quieter. The only thing with all boats of this size people should be aware of is that when you own and live in these boats (incl DCs) for a weekend or two is issues with ventilation; if the owner’s cabin only has one ventilation port instead of two for good cross ventilation, I would cross then 31+ from my list just because of this reason. I hope that Nord Star, Sargo and Targa would pay more attention to this, as all of the ~30ft models fall short on this. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I prefer the Nordstar Jack. I first came across them at the Scottish Boat Show about 6 years ago.. I would go for the largest model they do, but the one on test today is lovely . Fantastic price
Great video Jack, thank you. I’m really keen on this style of boat for the British climate and this one seems up there with the best when you factor in price etc.
Looks nice! Looking for something to knock Ranger Tugs R-31 CB off of its pedestal for me ...I don't think this does it, but I love the performance and look of this!
Funny how you called it a "Darth Vader boat" and compared it so much to the Targa 32, because Targa has actually built a T32 with inspiration of Vader, with a deep black gelcoat and black railings.
Imagine pulling up an anchor on a 25ft cabin cruiser for years. Hard work for some but if you use your brain one can figure it out. Oh ya that was when they made boats.
2.5 liters/Nm does make a dent in the wallet. For me, its either having a summer house or this type of boat. Or, summer house + a smaller boat. I dont see that value of this considering the cost of running it. Either go big and only have boat. Running Cost is a factor to consider for sure for this genre of boats around 30ft.
I really don't like that seat position... its flush against the galley, there isn't really room to stand and drive, isn't room for a better seat and isn't a way to "recline" and put your feet forward while driving. you are just cramed into that place. the induction cook top that close to the seat... just feels like you are going to "cook" the seat with steam and maybe even splattered oils. its a nice design for a 2 cabin 1 head layout but... that whole cockpit and galley lay out is a breaker for me.
I wounder how much dose it cost in us dollars. this could be like lifeguard water station 24 hours for two beaches in California that is my dream job patrol the day and at night
That boat is not worth that amount. I will give you my 2.4 cents on the perfect boat. Lead bottom like a sail boat so you can sail it 2 and have the option to drive it at speed. 15 knots petrol is getting very expensive I have the design in my head and you can travel around the world for minimum cost to your budget or use it as a business take fisherman out and not costing you a lot of money. Green fishing is the name of the business. Sorry for any writing errors but I’m a Cook Islander and English is my second language but common sense is what I’m blessed with. From a Cook Islander
Really like This design! Looks a little cooler than Targa and Sargo

You should testdrive the big one. Nord Star 49. I havent seen a real testdrive on that boat. Good work👍
We’ll do our best 👍
@@Yachtbuyer your best you did, you dropped the best video on youtube about the nord star 49. Thank you.
Great video Jack, thank you.

I'm really liking this style of boat, commuter/explorer/fun weekender. 👍❤️🇬🇧
This is “solo skipper” heaven:)
Absolutely

Targa 32 (Twin D6-440)
Cracking boat. Appreciated the "From Russia With Love" overtures, with all those boats in hot pursuit.
It’s a sinister looking beast in that spec, that’s for sure 👍
Funny how you called it a "Darth Vader boat" and compared it so much to the Targa 32, because Targa has actually built a T32 with inspiration of Vader, with a deep black gelcoat and black railings.
Imagine having to pull the anchor by hand on your 400k boat.

It's not that big of a vessel just use an anchor pulling ball system on your line.
More boats should be this colour
Thanks Jack!
As a North American buyer (Canada) the Mercs are serviced anywhere.
In a hot summer day, with that dark color, this boat will feel like an oven!! 😤😵💫 😬😬😬
Yup, too hot 🔥 to handle in equatorial zones.
Great review !!!
Thanks!
Great review. Great design. 👍
Pretty good all round however could do do with a protective cover on the aft joystick.
SIx feet longer with some monster outboards then yes I would roll with the Empire
What a machine!

Which one of these three boats is the best single engined rough weather boat
Excellent, very nice I love this
Is it possible to change the engine type to an out-of-board?
Possibly not on this model but smaller ones in the range, yes.
I can dream of owning one
Anyone have experience how the hull performs and rides compared to a Targa of similar size?
For me this is 3rd behind Cargo and Targa.
Could you make a review of some askleladden boats, mabye the P79 or 92. Or the new c model?
It’s worth about 100k but selling for 300k. Take that off the coast of any country and it may get torpedoed
I think you need to go to a boat show and see what you get for $100,000. It's depressing.
@@GregBetts-v6w I know actually it is depressing 100g gets you 23’ and 250 hp

Really looking this disign
It would really be nicer with the right upgrades
So nice boat. I like it but I miss the space for ladies to sunbath and summer fun.
Very cool👍🤝💯
Love the design but as a diver; with gear/tanks/BC seems awful tight to try to manage. Will Ck website and see what is next larger size as I am 6’3”.
I have 2 quistions,is it trailable and unsinkable?😂
Why were you near full throttle with your left engine and in neutral with the right?
I had it in 'single lever' mode so I could control both engines with one throttle - Jack
@@Yachtbuyer Nice feature, I didn't know that was possible.
Yes, most twin throttle arrangements have this feature and it's pretty handy! - Jack
only if its fly by wire?@@stephankoens1011
Fiberglass hull?
Yes 👍

way too many buttons / instruments ! and that joy stick on the gunwale lol
При волнении на этом катере бешенные удары, можно сломать позвоночник
Лучшая верьф!!!!!!
I call it the death boat😅😊
🔥🔥🔥❤️👍
50k ?
can i buy it for cash , no interior
or maybe 80k
How much ❤❤❤❤
Read the title 😉
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Not really worth 300K euros maybe 100k💶
Nah!
is it made of bitcoin?
I would say no! All Swedish, Norwegian, Finish and Dutch Boats are INSANELY overpriced!!
So what else can I get for the same money….
@@dondraper2488 maybe russian boats?
Maybe the Somali's can offer you a speedy pirate boat for less....
