I really like how open this level feels, quite unfortunate that the sad clouds don't hurt the player. (maybe that was planned but didn't happen yet?) Also 0:20 has to be one of the best P-Switch bonus rooms I've ever seen, it's very smart! The goal pole setup is also really nice :)

Hey so i hate to burst your bubble, but these are actually really old levels that I made back in 2020 that I've decided to showcase. i don't think anything will ever come out of DX seeing how the project is being massively mishandled imo
@@TMolter Do you have the inside scoop on what’s happening with the project? If there’s like, drama then maybe it’s best not shared, but also the fact that the only “new” content publicly shown for the game in over 2 years is old devs who’ve left the project showcasing their likely scrapped work really isn’t a good look. I’ve seen people in comments sections, usually on newer dx development logs and/or of newer ost videos, saying “the game isn’t dead, their making constant progress is the discord” but I feel like I’ve been seeing less and less of that recently.
Truthfully no, I don't have any clue on what they've been up to these days. I left the project back in late 2021 and haven't really cared to try and keep up with it since
pretty sure DX is still being developed, searched about it for a bit and found some reddit post asking if the project was still active. Some guy in the comments emailed the team about a week ago and they said that it is still in development so that's good to hear :)
Is it possible to change the brick block's animation? What I mean is changing the delay and adding more frames. Is that possible? I would assume it's somewhere in the animtiles.bin file.
The tileset and background were made by someone else and I wouldn't really feel comfortable giving out a download for them without the owner's permission.
Wow! Nimbus Highway was remade as Nimbus Highway Plus (or Deluxe). Does this mean Newer DX is still in development or is this new gameplay footage of the mod?
the way the sad cloud damages the player is that there is an invisible hurt tile in the same area as the cloud, however we had to remove it to make more space for the revised tileset

this is actually old footage from 2020 haha. I'm not really sure what they've been up to lately since I left the project a few years back
