I just wanted to add something you missed on battery health. Not the case for modern laptops, they have a better battery management system to handle charging and discharging. Especially Apply M Laptops which have ARM architecture so they operate like phones and manage battery better?
I don't get annoyed by the noise of the fan; in fact, I love to hear it. It satisfies me because it indicates that the laptop's cooling system is working perfectly.
