There's a Sims game I used to have on the Wii called the Sims castaway or something similar and its a bunch of sims trapped on an island. I don't know if that's something that'd be worthwhile trying out but its a suggestion.

This was the version I rented from Blockbuster that got me into the Sims. My dad saw me having so much fun with it that he researched it and told me there was an entire PC version of it with many expansion packs and that he just ordered them for me! I fell in love! Oh god the memories!

Oh man, this version of The Sims brings so many memories back, I didn't had a good PC at the time to run the original but I had a PS2 and bought this version and still to this day it's my favorite Sims game. I've spend hours upon hours on this version.

I got confused about who Jim Pickens was so I'm going through the whole Sims story after 3 years. Worth it, real sad I missed it the first time around. Still surprised but impressed that a whole character slowly built up and dominated Kevin's Sims even though it started as a randomly generated neighbor of his original sim.

The Sims 4 is Jim being messed up. The Sims 2 and 3 are why he is messed up (because of his dad). But why is his dad messed up? That's where The Sims 1 comes in (it's because of his mom). But why is his mom so neglectful? You can't really go farther back than The Sims 1. Or maybe it would just be a version of The Sims 1 that is older than the PS2 version. But then we would need to keep going back even further to find out why whoever messed her up was messed up, and so on.
Sims 1 was originally on PC and is it's own different beast entirely

I don't know what KH is, but The Sims 2 Pets is also sort of a nostalgia game for me (it's also the only Sims game I've ever played, aside from The Sims 4 PS4, which I got recently, and I guess you could also count My Sims Racing Wii, but that's an entirely different genre). And something that I found interesting is that The Sims 2 Pets Gamecube (gotta be specific) has an easter egg to Spore, my biggest nostalgia game, which was also made in 2009 (The Sims 2 Pets Gamecube was made in 2009 as well). Basically, what the easter egg is, is when you select the "Make a Game" option in a computer, sounds from Spore will play while making it.

The Sims series is mainly on PC and where I prefer to play it. It's fine on console but I'm personally too spoiled for it.

I remember staying in my moms house in that game when it launched, at one point in the quest line only half your stats could drain so i made a big extension to my moms house and hung about there until i max levelled all my skills
