Awesome; and awesome catch of the hose tower. At 1:16, next to the silver Jeep & ambulance, was the red box an emergency phone, fire alarm, or extinguisher?
LAFD have USAR trucks. Are these trucks staffed with full-time firefighters? If not, how do they assign firefighters on the USAR trucks? I know that USAR responds to confined space rescue, vehicle accident and rope rescue. Do USAR firefighters respond to fire incidents? For example, structure fire?
I’ve done it, if I were you I would do it after COVID. But they are all great guys from my experience and most of them seem to enjoy showing the public around the rigs. Bring a few good questions and if you feeling kind bring cookies and it’ll be awesome.
@@MB12116 yeah our fire fighters actually love when the community shows interest so once everything is sort of back to normal im going to see if I can get a tour
Very nice video! one of the best yet!
Thanks man!
+90210FireBuff Did Engine 482 went to a call?
Wow that's awesome 🚒💜🔥😇💙🐝🐈🌲they let you film that thanks
Even thow Los Angeles has rescue trucks it looks like this usar unit is like a mini rescue & light &air truck unit....
This is one of their smaller USaRs. They are comparable to 'rescue trucks' like what FDNY has. LAFD's Rescues are actually ambulances.

I believe this is the fire station on the series Bosch. See them walking out of Hollywood PD station and going through a fire station sometimes.
Yeah this station back right onto an LAPD station
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!

USAR units for the LAFD are cross-staffed and do respond to major fires.
+90210FireBuff Thank you for the information.
do i detect the unmistakeable tone of aka dakas thunda struck at the beginning ?
627?
That's what I remember seeing in the back of the station when I saw one of Rescue911.de's videos. Thanks for watching!
90210 I didn't no there was rescue 627
Come on guys you have exhaust removal tubes in your bays not being used. Gotta limit the bad gasses when you can
Chief needs a "backup man"?

My cadet station
are these trucks fulltime timers? and is 27 the only one that still uses the white over red trucks?
Rescue 927 is not full time and USAR 27 is cross staffed. Only a few apparatus in all of the LAFD has white as the main color scheme.
Yeah i was a picture of usar 85
Is it cross staffed or voorontwerp?
Volenteer
I don't know about USAR 85 but I know that USAR 27 is crossed staffed
Holly Wood!
And
