This is just so sad what Taliban is doing in the name of religion. It's just break my heart that these innocent kids have to separate from their parents in such a small age. Where is humanity looks like religion is still a priority not humanity.

Afghanistan , Pakistan, mayanmar , Sri Lanka, Maldives were never ment to be country. British knew they won't survive and no political stability. So that's why they were separated. British thought is india is a whole(from Afghanistan to burma) they would be a super power than UK. Even india, they thought they will divide themselves into small parts. Kudos to Sardar Patel , never let it happen. Henceforth, these country's citizens are facing the consequences.

The conflict in Europe is really between Kiev and Moscow. I don't understand why any one is getting involved. It's been going on for years.
It's not futile to take sides in a war. India helped Ukraine in form of humanitarian aid and support. West helped Ukraine in form of supplying defense related stuff. The latter fuelled the war (b'coz Russia was more agitated) the former helped them. India abstained to vote against Russia but it helped Ukraine.

Whenever I see something like this, the picture of people celebrating victory of Taliban like victory of their own comes into my mind. They wanted a bunch of people with 0 knowledge or education and obsession with religion in power very hard. I hope this changes soon. I hope Taliban would collapse and all Afghans would have their normal life back.

I just recently finished all the books of khaled Hosseini. They are heart wrenching stories of poor Afghanistan people. One of his novel - 'A Thousand splendid suns' , it is spine chilling novel i had ever read. If anyone wants to knw how the Taliban is torturing people in the name of the religion,i highly recommend his books. I literally cried of plight of women and children out there in the hands of Taliban. I pray god that Afganistan should raise again .
When they were flying the kites, the young girl who got married to Naser, it all reminds me of how real his stories were even though fictional.
@@Escapist-qv8et ya, i felt their friendship as in my personal life, I too felt as the protagonist feared affection that baba had towards his friend. That he may disown him. And i would recommend u to read his 2nd novel -' A Thousand splendid suns'. The story revolves about 2 women in Afghanistan who has a gap of generation. U will never forget that experience. The writer himself told that he had written on some true incidents. Hope u enjoy your reading!
He wrote it based on the events of the first taliban regime. it happened again and thats the worst part knowing that what you read as a story suddenly being shown in news channels

Its really sad to see children with such big dreams and aspirations who really want to study and work hard for themselves and for their families , being forced to stay at home and get married at such tender ages out of despiration for economic needs .I just hope and pray that the people of not only Afganisthan but also the people in countries with similar situations see better days in the near future .

No offense but I don't get your point. The woman in the video had her kids before the Taliban came into power. She had a job that was enough to raise them and a husband.
On top of that she has just two kids which is an widely accepted number around the globe. I don't see her having "so many kids".

I never said that selling of children to bring food on the table is acceptable since that's child trafficking, neither did I ever say 5-6 children are considered as a small number. You're misunderstanding.
What I tried to point out was that the people there did not anticipate that the Taliban would be coming into power after their children are born and the situation would be so dire. So your solution of not giving birth to children doesn't make sense. Of course they are at fault it they keep producing more children now even though they are aware of the situation.
The mother in the video is surely not doing the right thing by even considering to sell her kids but you can't blame her for wishing to have children.

I think the problem is if one had to see their child starved or deprived due to poverty and that’s why people give their children up. I’m certain that someone who gives their child away lives with that pain throughout life but sometimes people have no choice.

Now the thing os her husband is missing and taliban is not letting females to do any job . So basically she is helpless despite of being educated enough , talibanies are not letting her work . You can clearly see she has a nice house and big house to live and had source of income .

Quite a hard hitting documentary, I cried watching it.
Afghanistan used to be a very prosperous and advanced place during Buddhism , Jainism , Sikhism and other tribe's .
Later when Islam invaded it they destroyed everything .
It was so good that Alexander , Europeans , Chinese have praised about it .

I mean, let's not forget how the Afghan army, 300k soldiers strong, bowed down to 70k Taliban forces. Those 300k afghan armymen were apparently trained by the US to protect their land. The plight of the children is an agonizing reality of perhaps most of the war-stricken countries. As much as we would like to see a better world for our children, stories like these remind us of the harsh reality and strangely making the world better seems a distant dream. It's an irony that we have so many organisations exclusively created for protecting the children, but at the grassroot level, we still have miles to go!!

Its because of religious duties. Its written in their holy books, that the more number they produce children who believe in allah , they will get more points to secure seat in heaven.. I know it doesn't sound good, but its a fact. That is why even in most educated Muslim families you will see at least 3-4 children minimum.

It's heartbreaking to see inequality around the World. Wether it's lifestyle, education or anything else. Developed countries, developing countries often describe countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Libya as third world countries but we all forget that they're also human beings.
US and its allies are responsible for the situation Afghans facing today. We talk about creating modern world full of technology, robotics, flying cars, etc, etc. But without global efforts to eradicate basic problems like Terrorism it's not possible.

I cannot gather courage to watch this documentary. I am now at 0:45. I am a Muslim by heart. It’s shameful for me to see how Taliban is governing their country. Instead of ensuring citizens' basic rights, they prioritise islamization. They cannot even foresee that citizens' anguish against government may turn into growing anti-Islamic mentality. I know it's difficult for a government to run a war-torn country, especially when its bank reserve is freezed. Earlier she had a stable source of income didn't you hear ? Her husband died making her the breadwinner of the family , but taliban doesn't allow women to teach or do work or even leave their homes .
