I don't ask this often with fan films...but can we please get a sequel!? For once I can believe the accolades in the thumbnail of a fan film. This was so special and well done. I'll never understand why it's so hard for Disney to do this kinda thing. Even Disney's better sw films don't capture the feeling of star wars as well as the fans can. Bravo! Fantastic work to all involved in making this.
Thank you Alpha! We work gard on capturing the feel of the original trilogy and we have tons of stories to make many more! If you could help us out by recommending us to Star Wars TH-camrs and to your friends, I would make the possibility of making another more likely! So happy you connected with the movie!
@davidalvarado7742 I personally would love to see the kind of jedi the daughter becomes but ya a prequel could be cool as well, diving into the story of the father and the dark jedi who hunted him
I 100% agree, a sequel would be fantastic. What you guys did with this film, in 20 minutes no less is rekindle the very beginnings of Star wars for me. This was so epically well done and very thought out.... The production was fantastic, the effects were just as good as lucasfilm.... This was so brilliantly done. I am a Star wars fan from day one, I was in the theater when Star wars first came out and I will die a Star wars fan. So I say, YES PLEASE to a sequel to this. And I will do my part to get your channel recognized to whoever I can. Thanks for making such a great short Star wars movie. You definitely have a new subscriber. Take care, ~Jonny5🥁
With just one episode, you managed to do what a series with a budget of $150 million couldn’t do, tell a coherent and unique story without braking lore and alienating an entire fan base. This is what should be done going forward with Star Wars. Give Star Wars back to the fans. Well done:)
@@seekerofthemutablebalance5228 Not at all. The Force reacts powerfully to those in extreme grief and anger. In canon, a little girl named Rain used the Force to snap the necks of two Jedi knights after they had killed her innocent alien friend. That girl grew up to become Darth Zannah, the apprentice of Darth Bane who co-founded the Sith Rule of Two and the dark line of succession that led to Emperor Palpatine's Galactic Empire.
@@Hylanvahrmy exact thoughts, strength in the Force isn't about age, plenty of aspiring Sith or Jedi we're chosen purely based on their power in the Force
Wow high compliment, thank you so much! But in all fairness I had a great young actress who brought everything to the role: future star Lola Rossignol-Arts!
It's sad to me I felt more for these characters than a lot of Disney-era projects. But when it's a story told out of passion, you can feel it. Great fan film y'all.
Thank you so much! If you subscribe to any SW channels or groups, please share it with them , it would help us a lot and we might continue these characters ‘ story!
@@mauricioalfaro9406 they ment it's sad that some of the Disney star wars characters haven't made him feel invested in their stories when they are official/cannon, think what this guy could do on a Disney budget 🤯
Rly? I only watched 3 minutes and saw 3 errors: 1. No one catches fire from a laser beam unless you are bathed in alcohol or gasoline. 2.- A sith does not need to ask anything, he can empty the mind of anyone who has a secret kept. 3. A Jedi does not need arrows to catch a fish, with the force she was able to get all the fish out of the river...even Grogu did it. (same mistake as Luke fishing on the island that was hidden) I couldn't see any more of these misconceptions about the Force.
@jorgesaldivar8533 I agree with your first point about bursting into flames from laser fire. But we couldn't see what that person was working with in the woods. Maybe it was a flammable liquid like alcohol. He could've been making space moonshine! Your second point, though, isn't accurate. Sith constantly asked questions in ALL of the original films. Sith and Jedi alike could read feelings. But that mind reading crap didn't come along until Disney got involved. And third, a Jedi who was attempting to avoid detection would need to know other ways to provide for food for himself or herself. So I saw that scene as totally legitimate. Brightstar was trying to teach his daughter multiple skills. Not just how to be a Jedi. He wanted her to know how to survive! It's amazing to me that the makers of this fan film were able to capture all of that in a 30 minute film! You had some good thoughts though. It's important to think before you make something like this. Disney didn't do that and has jaded many a Star Wars fan as a result. This is a fan film and I'd say they did a great job on this. 👍🏼
The thing I really like about this, is that when they are fighting, they are using all sorts of tricks to win the fight. in the regular starwars fights, they usually just use their light sabers, and just feel invincible against everything else for no good reason. This feels more grounded, because people are trying to sneak rocks to hit people and having people use lasers to distract their opponents. This type of dirty fighting feels a lot more real and fresh than the stale mainstream fights. The chaos of everything going on just adds to it.
Wow thank you that was really what we were going for! With the Brightstar not being at his top we had to make it believable that a 6 vs 1 fight would last so long. Glad you enjoyed it ! Please share if you can!
yeah, disney took the 80's kung fu approach: Have 5 people wave their weapons around while not attacking, while only one person fights the lead. This short film worked better. the "I cheat." line was great. but... the guy made the same classic mistake of talking instead of killing her. He would have lived and been around to teach his daughter, had he done that. Watching the new Acolyte... ugg... Characters just disappear during a fight, and then pop into the fight when it is their time to have a scene. I literally spend more time watching fan films and student films over hollywood garbage, now. Better time spent.
Commendations to Mikhael Bureau, as he created music that captured some of the tone, musicality and spirit of John Williams; it sounded like a real Star Wars movie. Really well done!!
@@ArchangelEpicsIt was impressive. Better than those Disney sequel trilogy. Clearly the director all care about is money, not how bad the movie is. This one however, all it takes is a minutes to show how amazing like this is done. And it's clearly, it's director was professional at making this. Honestly, if this type of directors are the one handling Star Wars, audience and viewers rating is gonna rocket sky high and earn more money than the one's in Disney.
Its insane how you can have so much better character development in 20 minutes than Disney can have in an entire movie! Amazing film!!! Will definitely share with my friends!
This comment made me realize that I was more invested in what happened to these characters than I was my favorite characters I grew up with watching RoS. Give these creators a damn budget and let them fix SW for us.
What this film has (that some of the Disney films lack) is love for Star Wars. We can clearly see that the creator, cast, and crew all love the Star Wars universe. Great job, everyone.
@@TheSingularitarian Star Wars has a massive collection of lore and books that fit specifically within the Star Wars universe. Each tell their own specific storyline that adheres to source material as well as drawing on other authors within the universe. Disney decided they didn't care for the universe of authors and games that made the Star Wars universe so special. Within it, there are some really great authors who expanded Star Wars into what it is now, beloved with a fanbase that knows you don't destroy this universe without paying for it. Disney found this out the hard way. They forgot the fans and authors of the universe is what makes Star Wars what it is today. Deny that and you get wrecked. Sort of like what happened to that fake crap called "Rings of Power."
Thank you so much! Thats high praise because there is a lot of good ones out there! If you can share this movie with Star Wars TH-camrs and websites because it seems we cant get through to them!
Lol… ya think? “Nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans.” The toxic element of the fan base will shit on anything and everything. Nothing is safe from them.
One thing I noticed is that one of the Sith (I assume he is a Sith or Sith apprentice) has a green lightsaber, although I'm sure everyone saw that. But to me, this is a great example of visual storytelling; you see, when a Sith first creates (or obtains) a lightsaber the color will never be red at first due to it not being a natural lightsaber color. The Dark Side user must undergo a process known as "bleeding" the Kyber crystal, filling the semi-sentient crystals with the user's negative emotions, fueled by the Dark Side. This is where the red color comes from. Even Darth Vader did this with Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a's lightsaber after he had slain the Jedi. But what this shows even before the fighting has begun that the Sith who wields the green saber is inexperienced, seeing that he hasn't even bled his crystal yet. This is proven to be correct when at 11:15 at the beginning of the fight he is tossed around by Brightstar, eventually losing his saber and becoming the second one to die at 12:21, killed by a blaster bolt. All this to say this is an incredible FanFilm, and it's little touches like that that make a story feel real and lived in, which is one of the biggest appeals to Star Wars in general. Props to Archangel Epics who has earned my subscription. May the Force be with you, always.
Wow great analysis! As a director but also a SW fan you add those little bits for your own geekytude and wonder if people will pick it up. When they do it’s awesome! So yeah green to gave a little color and a little inexperience in the mix! Please share with other hardcore fans if you can, im sure they’ll dig it. Thank you again!
Bravo!!! Star Wars is not dead but lives on in the people who truly know and understand the essence of what George was trying to create. Thank you for the viewing experience.
This is by far the fan film I've ever seen. It everything that the Disney movies didn't have . A strong father/mentor . A daughter going thru a hero's journey. And they have supportive mother and a younger brother . Can't wait for the sequel

@@huntclanhunt9697 foam larp weapon club some twenty years ago at my local community college. I was around 24years old sparing with the fifty year old instructor. It was three on one light speed drill training, at different attack vectors I went in low with a thrust while he was dealing with the two others. The old man smiled and gave a light playful low front strait kick to my face by passing my thrust and I recoil into a back roll for sport. After the spar lasting about six to eight minutes when you get short of breath. The tip of my noise was scrap raw and so was my forehead from his shoes. We didn't know while sparing cause we were just having fun and giggling. A few .. drama queens .. at the college tried to make something over about excessive force and what not. So I .. politely .. explain excessive force and respecting your elders and training partners. In a real fight, my face plant the bottom of his foot knocking him off balance hard to the ground while the other two stab for the kill. As for me, high chance I would have a bloody and broken nose with a concussion from his foot hitting my forehead. Now as for having multiple concussions from my head hitting the concrete floor would have been interesting to examine. On the other hand, after he kick me in my face, he did this really F-King nice dance step and had the other two sparing partners walk right into each other with enough force to drop them on their backsides. Short few minutes laugh break. Honestly, I find it hard to maintain discipline order in old combat. The comic bump into slap stick knockdowns are rib hurting crying yourself into tears moments. I seen this women did this nice fancy dance sword move, and the other guy just walked into her up raised elbow to the face splitting his lip. Took like a minute to stop the light bleeding, and he did this whole foaming blood from the mouth bit stuttering. The sissy/teachers/office personal just went nuts power tripping they were going to shut the foam larp club down. The school football coach, military recruiter, and the Girls basketball and soccer coach told them to stuff it. That line "I'm not crying, I'm concentrating... on protecting my family." was simply perfect. She played it so well, so matter of factly. And then, smash! Well done. MTFBWYA
I love how detailed everything was in this. When Brightstar got up with his lightsaber ignited, he dragged the tip along the leaves on the ground slightly and they smoldered. Detailing something as inadvertent as that shows a true passion for what you've made and I applaud you. The acting was a bit stiff and the dialogue a bit awkward but they always are in fan films but nowhere near as bad as some I've seen. Those skills develop over time and both the actors and storyline are far better than I expected. I cannot wait to see the next installment.
@@gutz323 You need to go watch them again. Hayden Christiansen purposefully was stiff on his acting while portraying Anakin because it matched the mannerisms of Darth Vader during the original trilogy.

I'm not a Star Wars super fan..that is,I can readily watch the movies without having to know the various histories and backgrounds of every character, and the complete timelines and how everything and everybody ties together..I can just appreciate them, and I just appreciated the hell out of this.As a lover of movies, thank you.
I thought the acting was better than god father. The best stars wars content ever made. I think this TH-cam channel should take over Lucas film and rebuild it from the ground up. I don't know how Jedi's are 'created' like that but I'm willing to go to the cinema to watch the film of this as it expands into the SW Universe. Great performances all around and awesome use of SFX too... Wonderful, it is 😊
I like to think the mother doesn't know about all the formalities of becoming a Jedi proper, but she saw her husband use the force to protect what he cared about, so her daughter emulating that was good enough for her.
@@TetrisPhantom Fair enough. What I was saying wasn't a 'put-down' comment, it was more a 'I'm intrigued to see where this goes in relation to the Expanded Universe.' It's a great side story that could actually work as part of the main characters we already know. Eg (and bare with me as I'm just riffing an idea hear), Anikin done pod racing as a child and was 'discovered' by a Jedi and his apprentice. This family being on the run may suggest lots of different locations in a series, eventually leading them to be 'descoverd' by a Jedi also... Perhaps even an apprentice... perhaps she (the daughter ) turns out to be a new Jedi Master down the line or maybe gets tempted by the dark side - anger leads to pain, pain leads to suffering... Ya know the rest ;). Essentially, I'd really like to see this fleshed out - the back story for her father, and parents relationship etc...
I just stumbled upon this. All I can say is this was superb. It had the spirit of Star Wars, was incredibly well executed all around, and it actually made me emotional in 20 minutes. Whatever you guys are doing next I want in well done! I hope you guys get jobs taking over Lucasfilm.
Thank you! Getting the spirit of SW was paramount to us! So glad you connected with the story on an emotional level! Share it with the world and maybe Lucasfilm will call! Lol
@@ArchangelEpics Lol, LucasFilm won't call while under Disney. This film would not fully fit their current goals and messaging. Translation: You did an excellent Job. This is a great fan film. Maybe one day when LucasFilms/Disney decide they want to start turning a profit again, they'll call on you. Nothing wrong with leaving a business card.
So much more respect for the franchise in this movie then in the entire sequels. Treat every characters with respect as well as the lore and by extension, you will treat the fans, your dear costumers, with respect also :)
Honestly this is how a modern Star Wars film should've been done, how too show the flaws of the ordinary people who've been in the order, broken the rules, created a family, how to create a family or bond between characters that you meet for a few minutes and you start to like them, you will understand this is further in the future because of how the remnants or Coruscant is a wasteland, explaining the father and masters sickness deriving from that place, where the Jedi Order used to be located. In the short amount of time the dialogue is great because it explains the few things we need to know on how good he have been as teacher to help her to survive but also on how to not succumb to the dark side, by accepting the natural order and flow of the force in all living things. To live in that daoist way that has always been what the Jedi teachings have been about. The Sith or what would be some kind of Sith / Dark side cult of the remnants of the shit whom have stopped following the rule of two which wouldnt be uncommon since the fall of the Sith well now after Rey Palpatine, but lets say for the jist of it since the fall of the emperor and Darth Vader. This short movie have more intellect, better dialogue, better story writing and far more interesting characters and plot line than any modern day triple A studio Star Wars film out there today, Disney could just learn that this is how you create a Star Wars movie, not with Disney princesses but with female leads that are great actors and that have a genuine care for their loved ones and understand that their training never ends, not even if they reach the rank of Jedi Master, thats the Jedi way. I applaud you for this, I enjoyed this fan film more than any other Star Wars film since maybe Rogue One. 5/5 Lightsabers.
Im very touched by your review! Very happy you were able to see the nuances intended and unindented in the piece! Thank you so much! Ill share with the cast your nice words! Please share with others. Thank you for this ❤️ It takes love to make a SW movie. Love, magic, innocence, fantasy, talent and a pure heart: these are the ingredients. You have the right recipe, diesney doesn't: they have no talent, no fantasy, and a bitter heart that has forgotten what innocence is. But most of all, they have NO LOVE for SW and its magic. They have no idea what SW really is about. You sir are proof that SW can come to life again... But only if it is loved. Again, thank you.
Wow! I didn't think it would, but I cried. What a great fan made movie. Disney doesn't even manage to do something like that in several films and series.

I've been a star wars fan all my life and this felt the same as when obi wan dies and leaves Luke with the few lessons he was able to teach before he has to go out and become a jedi of his own merit. Pretty cool, I like the new lightsaber, really dig the abilities it has. The whole concept was dope. Really cool. Pretty good acting and all but I really liked the twist… I thought it was just gonna be more of the same. I didn’t see her doing what she did to end the fight.
Can we please please replace Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger now?!?! This 20 minute film PROVES that this team is way better AND they DEFINITELY get paid less -AND LOOK they KNOW how to use a strong female lead!!!!
Wow! This might be the first time I've commented on a fan film. And maybe the 3rd I've truly enjoyed. There was a sith stoy about an apprentice who faces her final trial with a master who duplicates himself many times in the battle. And the famous Vader film from Theory. But this was STELLAR. True character work without much pew pew to carry the weight of the entertainment factor. Just the right balance. I truly hope you explode in popularity. And expand your endeavors out beyond Star Wars. Either way, keep doing what you're doing. Subscribed!

If you can Please tell SW influencers/TH-camrs about us , it would really help to share Brightstar with the rest of the SW fandom! Cheers
@ArchangelEpics I'm much more of cinephile than a comic con enthusiast. And don't have much in the way of a social media presence. Otherwise, I would be sharing this with everyone. But I will definitely comment on TH-cam about this short, where I think people would be interested. Truly, there's much higher acting chops here than are usually found in fan films. And Sci fi/fantasy shorts in general, actually. I enjoyed your other film. But you've certainly leveled up in the years since. Soup to nuts. If people didn't have the extreme Star Wars fatigue as of late, I'd imagine this would have traveled much faster with word of mouth. Andor is the only thing keeping their ship afloat at the moment. If I were you... I'd use this to pitch a full series to Disney. They are in DESPERATE need of people who can write QUALITY content. And that young actor clearly has so much potential. I don't know how comfortable they'd be taking on the whole film crew. But the writing/directing package, along with the young leading lady, could really inspire their executives to greenlight a series about the old-OLD Republic. I could see you getting a serious budget to shoot a pilot for them. Where we could get a glimpse of the dark lord and his Sith Academy, pre-Rule of Two. Their Jedi counterparts. And the brand new Old Republic. All attempting to establish their dynasties in a contentious time. You could even start to swirl in some prophecy. And begin to tie in to some of the popular cannon. I can see it all happening! Honestly, I think there's so much more potential going that route. TH-cam makes it so tough to build a large following with short films... when you wouldn't have substantial weekly content to show for your work. Sad but true. Anyway, that's my two cents. Get that big Studio money. And give the fans something Disney has been missing. If you can get them to bite, and want someone you can work with to build on a developing story like this... tell me and I'll drop everything to contribute to fleshing out a full season. I'd love to get into it. And I'm very easy to work with. Work like this is so inspiring. In any case, well done to all involved! Don't take no for an answer, wherever this takes you.
@@carpeimodiem it was a beautiful film, perhaps a little less polished with story like this one, but very well done and I can see why you have it up there on your list!
This shows that you don't need to denigrate others to make a strong female lead. Disney needs to fire all their Star Wars Staff and start over with your team.
I think certain moments could benefit from lingering a bit longer, so they're less abrupt. But otherwise, this is good! Effects where solid. I really liked Jason Cavalier's performance too. Great job.
Well done! Not over the top; the Director of Photography (DOP) was on point, and the entire crew can be proud. The story was good, and there was an emotional delivery at the end that brought a child's tear to a grown man's eye. That's why we love Star Wars; it had a significant impact on us when we were young. We all dreamed of being a Jedi, and if we're honest, some of us still do. Some watch films, and some of us make them. keep going and may the force be with you all
Disney could have just hired fans like the makers of this very impressive film and they would have had fantastic success. I really enjoyed this, it’s made me very happy to see Star Wars done properly.

How have I not seen this before?!! This is ridiculously high quality for a fan film. Really captures the wonder of what Star Wars films gave me when I was a kid...in a 20 minute film!!!
-Better story than Disney. -Better character development than Disney. -Better actors than Disney. -better CG than Disney. -better dialogue than Disney. -better fight scenes than Disney -more compelling than Disney. -more faithful to the lore than Disney. Well on its way to getting more views than the entire season of the Acolyte abomination. Great job glad to see the Star Wars legacy lives on properly in some actual fans.
My goodness, this is so good! The ending is such that it leaves things open to a continuation, but at the same time it kinda draws things neatly together. I feel like I was basically glued to the screen for those 20 minutes.. Thanks for this one, it's really, really good!
Amazingly well written, concise and beautifully shot and directed! It is ovbious the time taken in the story boards, the concept art, the lighting, dialogue and cinematography! If you could help us out by recommending us to Star Wars TH-camrs and to your friends, I would make the possibility of making another more likely! So happy you connected with the movie!
I'm just glad Disney still allows Star Wars fans to make Fan Films vs what they've been on lockdown for on other franchises.
Totally agree! Sequel OR Prequel to this would be better than most of what Disney has been serving up
@davidalvarado7742 I personally would love to see the kind of jedi the daughter becomes but ya a prequel could be cool as well, diving into the story of the father and the dark jedi who hunted him
I 100% agree, a sequel would be fantastic.
Take care,

With just one episode, you managed to do what a series with a budget of $150 million couldn’t do, tell a coherent and unique story without braking lore and alienating an entire fan base. This is what should be done going forward with Star Wars. Give Star Wars back to the fans. Well done:)
Thank you! We would have love to have that budget tho lol
Please share with SW influencers if you can
Way better fan film then while stuiped Disney shit

@@seekerofthemutablebalance5228 Not at all. The Force reacts powerfully to those in extreme grief and anger. In canon, a little girl named Rain used the Force to snap the necks of two Jedi knights after they had killed her innocent alien friend. That girl grew up to become Darth Zannah, the apprentice of Darth Bane who co-founded the Sith Rule of Two and the dark line of succession that led to Emperor Palpatine's Galactic Empire.
Please.

How to create a strong female lead in only 20 minutes, that Disney couldn't do over 3 films. Well done.

Why sad? You should feel hopeful that independent spirits are still around creating.
@@mauricioalfaro9406 they ment it's sad that some of the Disney star wars characters haven't made him feel invested in their stories when they are official/cannon, think what this guy could do on a Disney budget 🤯
I care more for these characters in 20 minutes than hrs and hrs of Disney Star Wars.
The force is strong with this film. Wonderful work from the entire cast and crew. This is truly a Brightstar in the Star Wars universe.
-_- ugh, damn pun lol
It shows we don't need to watch Disney's garbage anymore. We can watch fan films, read fanfics on it. That's the best SW we can really get.
It's you!
Rly? I only watched 3 minutes and saw 3 errors:
(same mistake as Luke fishing on the island that was hidden)
I couldn't see any more of these misconceptions about the Force.
He was the secret weapon of this film! Few would have the balls to do a title crawl theme music that competes with John Williams’ original!

What does even mean to love "the Star Wars universe"?
@@TheSingularitarian Respect for the source material. Disney's Lucasfilm does not do that.
Wouldn't surprise me if they are members of the 501st legion.

“Nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans.”
The toxic element of the fan base will shit on anything and everything.
The community college volley ball team had such few women wanting to sign up, they had guys join. The women on the other hand had no problem with Spiking the ball into the other guys' faces. Twenty years ago, we still knew how to play a bit rough.

2.) Best darkside cult video I seen in the past 16years was from Italy.
The grandsons from a few clothing suite shops were part of the fencing club, did Italian mafia saber fight in a parking garage in $1000 suites and the finishing touch after the fight they were greeted by a guy in red leather looking light G.J. Joes crimson guard from Cobra.
Whole video film was barely 8minutes long, but had a bonus of 15minutes on how the suites were made and how the fight was put together.
In all honesty, I felt it was their way of marketing their families clothing business.
3.) People forget form Prequel era novels and Dark Horse comics, Sith cults were nearly everywhere for the past few thousand years. And they were briefly cover in the Bane novels. The issue was the self-proclaim Lords/darths that brough war across the galaxy. The Sith recruit from Hutt space, and when those Sith marauders, assassins, raiders got tired of the Brotherhood of Darkness fallen Jedi from the core worlds nonsense politics, they just went back to their family bloodline smuggler pirate clans.
In the Dath Maul novels, Maul had to be careful around high-class gambling locations because Jedi that washed out from Jedi temple training were hired to spot wild talent street trained force users hustling cards and dice. Then you just have families with their own force traditions that didn't send their children to the Jedi temples or schools. Who were tied up in con jobs, gambling, and political trade. Can we please please replace Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger now?!?! This 20 minute film PROVES that this team is way better AND they DEFINITELY get paid less -AND LOOK they KNOW how to use a strong female lead!!!!
As someone who grew up with watching the first Star Wars in a drive-in movie this was absolutely incredible, Thank You !!
Thank you, we were going for the original trilogy feel! Please share with other drive-in enthusiasts!
I thoroughly enjoyed this! I also want more!
Thanks Chris! We’re thinking about it. Please tell other SW fans about it
WoW, awesome short!!
Please give us some more🤩
Great job, hi really enjoy it👏🏻
Subscribed!
Thank you so much! We sometimes got frustrated in the last few weeks as we got outshined by more flashy fan films but your comment reminds us that we have the goods!
Don't take no for an answer, wherever this takes you.
do you have a link to that sith story with the duplicating master? That sounds sick
@tversetti it's called Dark Legacy... enjoy! Let me know what you thought 👍
@@carpeimodiem it was a beautiful film, perhaps a little less polished with story like this one, but very well done and I can see why you have it up there on your list!
What an amazing film. I hope you continue the Brightstar Saga. Every cast member was brilliant. The fighting was superb! We need a full movie!!! 🙏
We have a whole TRILOGY in store ! But we need this to be a phenomenon! Please share
Jjust don't contaminate it with Disney rhetoric
This film proves Hollywood is long gone.
Thanks for watching Felipe! Please share!
I usually don't do the fan created stuff... but this was fxxkin awesome!!! Well done!! 👏 👏 👏 👏
Thank you glad you liked it! Please share it with anybody you think would dig it!
This shows that you don't need to denigrate others to make a strong female lead. Disney needs to fire all their Star Wars Staff and start over with your team.
Thank Dono! If you watch the news today I think they did, at least some of them! Lol thanks for watching! Please share
This is right up there with "Dark Apprentice", very well put together. Thank you for this visual treat!
Thank you! That’s high compliment! Please tell SW TH-camrs so we can make Dark Apprentice numbers! Lol
@@ArchangelEpics On it like a fat kid on cake buddy! Keep the quality entertainment coming =)
Very , very good! I can watch this 1000 times. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
MTFBWY too! Let me know if its still good after a 1000 time? Please share
I think certain moments could benefit from lingering a bit longer, so they're less abrupt.
But otherwise, this is good! Effects where solid. I really liked Jason Cavalier's performance too. Great job.
Thank you! Ill pass it along to Jason!
That’s who that was!!!! Thanks, it was bothering me.
Thanks guys, comments like this are what keep me going and let me know I’m on the right track.
Some watch films, and some of us make them. keep going and may the force be with you all
No cop outs either. Death had meaning and stuck the impact in a positive movement. Heart
This was incredible I love brightstar and his combat using his fist more than saber combat
Being a jedi doesn’t exclude you from being a brawler too! Lol please share
That was incredible! Very well done and I wish you guys continued success. Great storytelling; show, don’t tell.
Thank you so much! If you can, share with SW influencers/ youtubers, we might make a sequel if we become big!
Always wanted to be in a fanfilm! This was amazing to watch
Thank you! Start writing your own, then your dream of being in one will be closer!
@@ArchangelEpics Not much of a good writer I mostly am into the acting aspect of it.
Disney could have just hired fans like the makers of this very impressive film and they would have had fantastic success. I really enjoyed this, it’s made me very happy to see Star Wars done properly.
Always happy to please true fans!
Better than the Disney Slop were being "force" fed 😂
Thanks please share!
one of the best fan films ive seen. thanks
Thanks so much! Please tell people so! Lol
This is absolutely amazing! Very well done. There’s a real essence of the original movies present. My goodness, I would love to see a continuation of this story. Congrats to all involved! Disney could learn a great deal from you all for sure!
Thank you so much Brian! We really wanted to capture the vibe of the original trilogy! If could help us out by sharing the movie with any SW influencers you follow it would really help in making us a classic fan film!
that was jaw dropping. i can barely find words. you just ripped me through the whole gamut of human emotions in 20 minutes. have not been so invested in a star wars story since Jedi.
Man that is so nice to hear! You make the hard filmmaking work worth it! Please share it so people who’ve been disappointed with the franchise can find the same feeling! Cheers!
@@ArchangelEpics already on it my dude
This was fantastic! I was riveted the whole time! Amazing fight choreography! I'm sharing with my fellow Starwars friends. Hopefully we will see another?🤞. 🤘😁🖖🇨🇦
That’s awesome! The more star wars fans the merrier! Thank you so much
Holy smokes. So much better than anything the Big D has produced in the last decade+. Outstanding work!
really well shot, written, and executed. The Emperor would be proud.
Thank you sir! As long as The Emperor is not displeased!
Absolutely amazing to everyone involved! You really created an entire epic in such a short film! I hope you all have all the success in the universe!
Thank you so much Mike! Please share with the rest of the universe if you can
This is fantastic! the story sucked me in immediately. Great acting and choreography.
Thank you we worked hard on it! If you have any SW friends please feel free to make them discover Brightstar!
I haven't seen a good fan film in awhile. Congrats! Loved it!
Thanks for saying so! Please pass the word!
WOW! Great job. Amazing Fan Film !!!
This.... this feels familiar. Like an evolution, 15 years later, of a fan film I saw, that was 20 minutes, was a full narrative, and was filmed...in a way that would show up at a film festival.
I am so excited!
This was truly an amazing film, it exceeded my expectations, this is what Disney should be doing
Always nice to exceed expectations !Thank you! Please share so Disney takes notice lol
How have I not seen this before?!! This is ridiculously high quality for a fan film. Really captures the wonder of what Star Wars films gave me when I was a kid...in a 20 minute film!!!
I dont know Davey, we’ve been here for a while! Glad we could give you some SW joy! Thanks for watching! Please share if you can
-Better story than Disney.
-Better character development than Disney.
-Better actors than Disney.
-better CG than Disney.
-better dialogue than Disney.
-better fight scenes than Disney
-more compelling than Disney.
-more faithful to the lore than Disney.
Well on its way to getting more views than the entire season of the Acolyte abomination.
And I know it would certainly score higher on rotten tomatoes than anything Disney’s produced under the Star Wars IP except maybe rogue one.
Great job glad to see the Star Wars legacy lives on properly in some actual fans.
Thanks Andrew! Please spread the word to SW TH-camrs and Influencers so other fans can discover it, if you can!
Amazing short film!! Great work!
Thank you!!
My goodness, this is so good! The ending is such that it leaves things open to a continuation, but at the same time it kinda draws things neatly together. I feel like I was basically glued to the screen for those 20 minutes.. Thanks for this one, it's really, really good!
Thank you so much! Please pass it along to who ever you think will enjoy it!
Well… thank you for that ! I wished it would go on for 2 hours.
@@wanas58 our pleasure! Glad you like it! Please share on your socials if you can
Amazingly well written, concise and beautifully shot and directed! It is ovbious the time taken in the story boards, the concept art, the lighting, dialogue and cinematography! This felt like an extension of the Star Wars universe and follows perfectly with George Lucas' original concept. I applaud you all! I look forward to more from this studio and writerr! Perhaps a collaboration with Lucas Arts? Bravo!
Thank you so much good stuff in your comment! As a matter of fact, I made a 20min animatic/storyboard that linesup 90% with the movie, will release a side by side video in the near future! But now you’ve made me miss the real Lucas Arts! Lol
Disney should learn from this. This is far more intriguing than the Rey trilogy ever was. Well done.
From your mouth to Dave Filoni’s ears my friend! Lol Help us have them notice us, let your SW friends know about this! Thanks again for the nice comment it made my day!
I did enjoy this but I also laughed when she took them all out with lifting rocks exactly like what Rey thought the Force was about 😂
Gotta give the Sequels’ fans something! ;)
@ArchangelEpics love it and this was all wonderful loved this! Fans bridging the gap between high funded projects and showing Star Wars can still have great stories.
Rey was great and it's not Disney's fault you didn't what you wanted BPD
This is SO hecking cool and emotional, all of this is so impressive, thank you so much for creating it! ^^ I'm already so invested in these characters and the world! ;w;
If I may ask, are you planning on creating more parts of this story? ^^ Either way, thank you so much for this, I love it!
Your message warmed my heart! After working on this for 4 years, reading comments like yours makes it worthwhile! We have plenty of story to tell of the Brightstar family at the Dawn of the Republic but itll all depend if the SW community embraces this story. So share with any fans you know!! Have a great day/night/week/month/year!
@@ArchangelEpicsplease do more I was heavily invested with the story and the characters I need to know what happens next
For the first time. I stayed till the end. Wow just wow

Sad that only fan fics can save the star wars universe now.
Very well done. BRAVO!!!!!

Great story, characters, and production. If only Disney would take note of this, we wouldn't have had the complete destruction of a franchise that we now have. Great job to everyone attached to this program and thank you!!! I truly hope a sequel is on the horizon.
Glad you enjoyed our movie Ken ! Thanks for your kind words and tell your friends about it as f you can!
If we could go back and team up this master brightstar with say obi wan.....wow what a star wars that would've been !! This was great, and very well done !!!
