To date, have only had an OESK, from the four roses barrel strength recipes. Probably my favorite bottle I’ve ever bought. Rare Breed is nice. But F🌹’s OESK knocked it out of the water.
Glad you asked....... both of course. Four Roses SB BS is a rare sighting around my area, so if I see it, I pick it up. Rare Breed well... that one is just a staple!
the Four Roses SB BS OESV is also pretty much a unicorn bottle where i am, but i did manage to finally get a bottle recently, and i agree with your review. it's amazing and more complex than the WT RB (which i also have and like very much).

The WTRB Bourbon had been unavailable for a while, but just today I found some and got a backup bottle (yay!). I’ll need a backup bottle of FRSB soon, it keeps disappearing from my bottle 😎🥃. Should I try and get back ups of the OESV? Was able to grab an OESV, limit 1 per customer at local store, selling for 85. Have a friend that says OESV ranks just behind Pappy Lot B and 4 Roses LE. Had an opportunit to buy the LE for 400, but was able to walk away.
Really depends on your bank account situation. If $50 is my budget, Rare Breed is a bourbon fit for a King (or Queen, ha). If I see a Four Roses BP somehow available to me, I wouldn't hesitate to splurge and dish out $80-90 for one. But here in CT they are a VERY rare site 😔
@@funnynotjokin2387 actually a store in Danbury (Warehouse?) Was the last on the state to have a single barrel Four Roses. It sold out in hours..and I wasn't able to get one.
@@JoeL-bc4lu thanks. The place in Danbury held back a case so I drove out that way for it this week. Last one on the shelf. I did get gouged a bit and drove 45 miles but my hunt is over. For now anyway 😆

IN Patterson NY borderline of Danbury there’s a liquor store that has a great selection of whisky

Wines and more in milford had the single barrel barrel strength. It's their store pick. They had at least 10 left as of 1/27/23. They go for 85 bucks.
