1. Love the burn barrel! WAY cheaper than a solo stove and it will heat better as well. 2. Electric saws are great, quiet and super efficient as well. I mean most times I can't burn all the wood:) Looks like you couldn't either:) 3. I'm on year 4 of camping out of my truck topper. Diesel Heaters are cheap and they put out dry heat. Easily make a simple window insert for your rig and 15 degrees will be 70:) Keep on enjoying the great outdoors!!
Hey Brian, thanks for stopping by and for the comment! Burn Barrel: I actually commented about how I thought the burn barrel was superior to the Solo Stove, but ended up cutting that portion out because the video was getting too long. Electric Saw: That DeWalt battery life is amazing to me. It seriously lasts a long time. After all my firewood processing, the battery indicator still showed full. They are such a great option for that application. Diesel Heater: I actually brought one with me and the Buddy Heater was only supposed to be a backup. However, I pulled a total rookie move and neglected to test the DH at home first. When I fired it up that night at camp, there was fuel leaking out of the bottom and the exhaust pipe was smoking 😬. So glad I brought a backup option for heat. The DH has been gone through now and the problem fixed so it will be used on our trip coming up this weekend. I like the idea of a window insert 🤔 Thanks for the tip! Adventure On!
That old mason jar was a great find. It’s super rare to find those whole from that time period out at the homestead sights. Nice work. Enjoyed the video!
Thanks Casey! Means a lot! I actually thought the jar was newer when I found it. Didn’t realize how old it was until I got home and did some research. Adventure on!
Hey thanks for stopping by and for the comment. Lorenzo is quite a character. He's a real sweet boy - whole family adores him. He'll be on the channel frequently. Adventure On!
Hey George, thanks for stopping by and for the comment. You are right! I had another heating option I was going to try but it didn’t work out. I brought the heater buddy as a backup and am so glad I did. An electric blanket + power station is definitely on my list of things to try! Thanks again for the comment!

I do like the electric blanket idea, does anyone have recommendations or reviews on electric blankets.
Hey Ricky, I’ve been eyeing some on Amazon with 12v plugs. Would work nicely with a portable power station.
Propane heaters produce water condensation, use an electric blanket and a battery power system
