I nearly shit myself when they said that the DDS Blue Eyes was worth 10k. I sold mine back in the day when I got out of the physical game. That's crazy.
Quick story. As a kid, my first yugioh cards were in a tin my grandmother found in the parking lot at work. One of the cards i remember in that tin was this exact blue eyes card. Japanese print and all. Even in the glass case. I gave the cards away for some F****ing chucky cheese tokens. I live with this everyday.

3:41 Secrets of Eternity was released in January 2015. This set introduced the Infernoids, a series of monsters that can special summon themselves to the field by banishing other Infernoid monsters from either the hand or the graveyard. Notable cards in this set include Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Qliphort Monolith, Uni-Zombie, Nephe Shaddoll Fusion and a card that would bolster Satellarknight to combat the Burning Abyss Shaddoll Meta, Stellarknight Constellar Diamond. In this series both Nyhmnim and myself will be opening 24 booster packs or one box of a core Yu-Gi-Oh! booster set. We will build a deck and play a best two out of three and the winner will receive a small price to upgrade their deck. *HOWEVER* in each episode we will open another box of the next set that was released, moving in chronological order, constantly upgrading our decks before dueling each other at the end of each episode. This is the *Yu-Gi-Oh! Progression Series!*
I find it entertaining the fact that these cards sold for crazy amounts on ebay but on tcg player some of the cards mentioned don't go for nearly as much
it deoends on their condition, I have a german first print Joker, but its in a poor condition. Mint it would be like 600€ but mine is a couple of cents. At least my Ultimate rare and my First Print German Stardust dragons are around 250€ each, and both near mint. And i Got all 3 God Cards in Mint Condition, but they are worthless.
Depends on condition, year, card number, what edition, and what box or package it came from. Notice for Blue eyes it’s a 1st edition specifically from 2002 Legend of Blue eyes box. Makes a massive massive difference in value. Anyone can just try to sell a Blue eyes white dragon but it has to be that specific one to get the value.
I understand that, cards also fluctuate in price as well so a card that could be expensive at one point can then turn out to be worth nothing at a later time
And Pokemon cards can be just as expensive as the ones shown on this list, especially things like first edition prints of the original Charizard card in gem mint condition, or even that illustrator card from what I've heard. But then again, they could probably make a list of just the most valuable Charizard cards alone, since any of those cards are always worth hundreds of dollars
I know for a fact that I have a first edition Blue Eyes White Dragon LOB. Don’t know what kinda condition it’s in. Still in my binder from back in Middle School. Along with all my Pokémon cards too haha. I’ll have to head to my parents and check on em and maybe get them graded.
They forgot the UDE Seal of Orichalcos Even though it’s not an official TCG card, the rarity of it and legacy surrounding this card should be on the list

umm nah maybe if u had like bought every single starter deck when the show came out and went to every tourney ,local regional and majors in order to get some of the tournament only packs.
Dark magician girl mfc000 and a small amount of other cards are the last remaining card collectibles from my childhood....my binder of rares were lost in a major flood years ago. So cool and also nostalgic to see those cards
This video made me cry knowing that I had the complete set of the first and second editions and several rare ones in 2002 ... and in 2010 I gave more than 500 cards to my nephew on his 8th birthday just because They were a fan of the series and had nothing to give him ... and now they are worth that ... tell me, please, someone invented the time machine

Grew up playing this with my friends at school and my brother but we grew up got older gave them away to younger kids didn’t know Yu Gi Oh would be worth something wish I never gave away my Three God cards. Just fun memories I had in the very early 2000s when everyone was playing this game. Glad to see people still love the game.
Watching this literally hurts my soul. I had 3 blue eyes white dragons. A blue eyes shinning dragon. Three headed blue eyes. I had them in a binder and someone took them. The only card I never owned from 2002 was the dark magician girl. I also had many toons and mint unopened original japanese packs.

I literally have my mind set towards buying all of exodia, 3 blue eyes, red eyes, blue eyes toon, dark magician, dark magician girl, and a few others I looked at on ebay. I bought a few newer Charmander kits today and just opened them. Also two newer blue eyes decks. It guarantees a blue eyes, and a azure-eye silver dragon. After I buy all the newer kits I'll start bidding/buying.
Tyler the Great Warrior is the most "valuable" because it's invaluable. You literally can't put a price on something so monumentally sentimental. I'm sure that to Tyler, that card represents life itself.
Feal a bit sick. I hade the first 3 sets lob, magic ruler, pharaohs servert. Mirror force, change off heart, magic cylinders, pot off greed monster reborn all ultra rares, lob blue eyed and dark magician alt art work. I hade 3 off each as u did as a kid... not to mention goblin attack force, barrel dragon. Dark paladin, and I loved me a spirit deck, that shit was op back in the day.

Nice,i have the original Elemental Heroes with almost all of their fusions plus some of the Neos cards too, some are hollow with gold lettering too,idk how much their worth,i gotta look them up lol...but yeah 👌
Well, time to look out my collection. I have 1st editions from LOB all the way through to I think Rise of Destiny. Probably worth a fair bit, I never really duelled, just collected so they are in pretty good condition.
yugioh has so many reprints you can get the same exact card for a dollar in other packs most of the time excluding the world champion promos. its not like mtg! yugioh has no reserve list if you want a blue eyes white dragon you can get the same artwork on a reprint set for a dollar. magic the gathering has cards they will never reprint again like black lotus and the mox's, yugioh is not the same. I like the yugioh card game its fun to play!! I like magic the gathering too Im not trying to trash either one. from a game point of view you can get almost any card in yugioh because of the reprints.
A Yu-Gi-Oh card make an Easters Eggs appearance in episode 9 of Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014) (My favorite anime series of ALL- TIME) when Nanami Touko meets two children's boys. one of the boys was angry at his friend because the latter drop his rare trading card in the water. The card looks suspiciously like a "Yu-Gi-Oh! card". The anime puts a star on the black circle of the backside, but you can even see the frontside of the card there. It's a Pendulum Monster Card, a new introduced type of Monster Cards; the only difference is that they turned the green color part into pink like a Trap Card. I can understand why some of the Yu-Gi-Oh cards are very expensive these days.
Not a terrible list, but it’s definitely not accurate. You have a lot of cards that are supposed to be in the top 10, but not in the right place. For example, the Tyler card should be number 1 as it’s the only one in existence and will ever be made. It’s literally priceless currently.
Yeah the two top spots are one of a kind cards/basically priceless considering there can only be one owner. I'd rather have the black luster soldier card though personally as the other card was made specifically for someone else, not for me.
@@datalorev it isn't, win the duel means the entire match, instead of playing best 2 out of 3, it is just 1 and you don't have to play a second. Though they aren't allowed in tournament play.
It’s actually “you win the match”, which is a best 2 out of 3 duels format, and the official format for tournaments. So if you trigger that effect during duel 1 or 2, it is treated as if you won another duel. Funny enough, it’s also a rulings nightmare in regards to surrendering. Think about it, if your opponent put one of those on the board and you couldn’t do anything about it, wouldn’t you surrender to prevent your opponent from winning the match outright? However, the issue is the fact that no official rule has been made to say you can surrender during your opponent’s turn and also it can be seen as violating the spirit of the card by even allowing such a surrender to begin with. They’re all hard to summon cards that require you to officially win with specifically them so it’s kind of pointless if the opponent just scoops up their cards in response. Of course, all but one are straight up illegal to use with the “legal one” being banned anyways so there’s that. They’re just collector’s items as they’re rewarded to players who do really well in major tournaments and only them (only a couple have ever made it into actual packs).
Bummer that Pegasus’ Toon cards, nor Bakura’s and Marik’s made this list. There were several good cards of theirs that were incredibly rare and surely were just as valuable as these listed.
I had a $3k folder that was professionally checked. I went to the local card shop. He told me they was worth 700 all up but because he's a collector he'll give me 850 for the full set 🤣🤣🤣 than I showed him the official pricing. He's jaw is probably still open.
From this video just remember to keep your cards. It could win you big money in 20 years. I threw my big collection away from the 2000 essentially making my trash can rich. I feel like a idiot don’t be me.

That stainless steel Black Luster could actually be used to protect you. You don't the Heart of the Cards to beat your opponent. Just use the card. Sorry. I meant to say you could use the card to "send your opponent to the Shadow Realm".
Hi It's you again.
Heavy yugioh nerd here. This list is light-years ahead of most "top priced card" videos I've seen from big youtubes, big ups. Also, love that you used footage from Yugitubers especially cimos explanation of Mechanicalchaser from the History of Yugioh
In other words, props for really doing your research
I nearly shit myself when they said that the DDS Blue Eyes was worth 10k. I sold mine back in the day when I got out of the physical game. That's crazy.
Holy shit! I have a first edition Blue Eyes White Dragon from the first booster pack from 2002 back when I was 10! Still have it!
I would like to know your address so I can... send you a gift.
You can sell that for major bucks, to give you an example I found a 1st edition Blue-Eyes White Dragon on Ebay that had a price of $3000.00
Honestly as do I
Not for sale! It’s going to be a family heirloom! If a relative does sell it after I’m dead then haunt them till they die!
Hopefully it's in good condition
Quick story. As a kid, my first yugioh cards were in a tin my grandmother found in the parking lot at work. One of the cards i remember in that tin was this exact blue eyes card. Japanese print and all. Even in the glass case. I gave the cards away for some F****ing chucky cheese tokens. I live with this everyday.
Maybe you can go back and track it? But I doubt it
Chuck cheese is fucking trash too. Way to go.
Trust me I kick my self every day thinking about it.
@@codyhon1404 Yeah I was at chuck cheese and I never liked it. Was for a friend's party when I was young and this other kid was looking for tokens. I had alot since I didn't play and this kid offered me some yugioh cards for tokens. I took those cards.
Lmao
Bruh, i had most of these cards when i was a kid like blue eyes dragon, blue eyes ultimate, dark magician/girl, black luster soldier.
didn’t knew they were gonna be expensive in the future. 😩
Don't worry, the ones that you had probably aren't the expensive ones.
@@Tsweeney12584 true tho but i had the black kuster soldier that’s dirty white and gold. Gold dark magician and exodia that protrudes from the whole card. Also have that gaia the fierce knight transparent card. 😢
I really don’t mind the value but i miss those cards coz my mom threw em all away.
Bro I fucked up too
As a collector I both weep with sadness and joy!!
Ive never been a yugioh fan but whenever i first saw blue eyes white dragon card i actually kinda knew it held some huge signifigance, it had this aura to it
I'm still impressed and surprised that I found a 1st edition Blue-Eyes White Dragon on Ebay that had a price of 3000 bucks.
If you have any of these cards, don't be surprised if Kaiba comes to yout home and offering you a case of a hundred rare cards for your one rare card.
Nah forget the case of a hundred cards I want his $20,000,000 in cash!😂😂
OH! your right I see him
3:41 Secrets of Eternity was released in January 2015.

I understand that, cards also fluctuate in price as well so a card that could be expensive at one point can then turn out to be worth nothing at a later time
As a long time Pokemon card collector this is very interesting for me!
Watapon is an adorable card
It gives me Pokemon vibes
I remember getting a pretty early ultra rare edition of wing dragon of ra in a booster pack. Dog ended up eating it, that memory still hurts...
I know for a fact that I have a first edition Blue Eyes White Dragon LOB. Don’t know what kinda condition it’s in. Still in my binder from back in Middle School. Along with all my Pokémon cards too haha. I’ll have to head to my parents and check on em and maybe get them graded.
And discover that they gave your cards to the neighbour's little kid
You also might found other cards that may worth a fortune. I don't play Pokemon cards but I know some first edition Charizard are sold around 1~2K
@@DeathLacooda god damn this comment hits hard lmao.
10k betting it's an unlimited

It kills me knowing what I know now had all kinds of rare and valuable cards as a kid and never kept them as I grew up 😭
Same… I had all the OG cards… 2006.
Ahh, The Old School Expert! I've been a follower of his for sooooo long! Always top notch classic content!
They forgot the UDE Seal of Orichalcos
Even though it’s not an official TCG card, the rarity of it and legacy surrounding this card should be on the list
There are multiple cards like that. Mattel Cyber dragon comes to mind 😏😂
@@HoloTWWOriginal Now that’s just garbage. The person who fabricated receiving 5-6 figures for it is stupid. We still don’t know the authenticity of it

Been awhile since i thought about Yu-Gi-Oh. When i watched the first part of the video i could smell new Yu-Gi-Oh cards all of a sudden. I miss my childhood
My best cards were dark paladin the fusion guy , the red dragon god card , OG dark magician and blue eyes
Didn't expect to have a card from this list, thanks for the info
I have a gearfried the swordmaster 1st edition with a print error that makes it look like he's trying to break out of the card. It fits the card very well!
Preserve it.
This is coincidence i searching top 10 most expensive yugioh card in google now you upload it
Crazy to think you could buy all these cards at Walmart at one point
Lmao seriously! Like damn I should’ve kept all the cards I bought from there 😅
umm nah maybe if u had like bought every single starter deck when the show came out and went to every tourney ,local regional and majors in order to get some of the tournament only packs.
I remember them bayblade days at lunch we would go hard !
HUH?!?! Is Dark Magician girl worth that much?!?! Hell I'm selling mine ASAP
Dark magician girl mfc000 and a small amount of other cards are the last remaining card collectibles from my childhood....my binder of rares were lost in a major flood years ago. So cool and also nostalgic to see those cards
Wait 900 million dollars, for the blue eye ultimate dragon? Did I hear that right?
Yup, and we all hear that right.
That's how much he put it up for auction at, it didn't sell for that much
@@justapeacefulmanwhosbornin7291 I Literally thought it was a typo. I thought he meant to say $900,000
Almost 1 billion hahahaha that’s insane
Great video I like the backstories behind the cards 😊
Wow, these Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are expensive.

@@martymcfly8494 Believe me or not in 2002 these cards only cost $ 20 THE best of them ... who was going to know what would come to this .. I only had him because I liked the original series I even still have the ps2 game .. but also I did the same with mgic in 97 the magic cards I changed them for some spawn comics .. now I am 45 years old .. who can imagine it...I have no reason to lie about a cards based on cartoons from the 2000s that nobody saw
I use to love playing Yu Gi Oh but would never pay that much for a piece of cardboard
I have a lot of Yugioh,Pokémon, and Digimon cards. Plus Power Ranger megazords, morphers, Zoids,Beyblades, and Gundams.
weirdly enough I sold one of the DDS- Blue eyes to one of the guys you show when talking about the LOB one. Light damage but was still a few thousand he paid for it.
I canot imagine who would pay 1000 dollars for a card really akward world

Grew up playing this with my friends at school and my brother but we grew up got older gave them away to younger kids didn’t know Yu Gi Oh would be worth something wish I never gave away my Three God cards. Just fun memories I had in the very early 2000s when everyone was playing this game. Glad to see people still love the game.
Kaiba: Ah yes, let me mug an old man and steal his card just to rip it and assert dominance
I really appreciate you doing proper research and even clipping famous YugiTubers
Is the Yu-Gi-Oh anime exciting and worth re-watching again? If so then where can I see full episodes of this anime now?
Would recommend to watch the sub for full seasons. There's also a 2016 movie titled "Dark side of Dimension."
damn you sound like a robot
Netflix
Kaiba: Meh, those cards are like what, 10 dollars?
Watching this literally hurts my soul. I had 3 blue eyes white dragons. A blue eyes shinning dragon. Three headed blue eyes. I had them in a binder and someone took them. The only card I never owned from 2002 was the dark magician girl. I also had many toons and mint unopened original japanese packs.
Who asked?
@@wooshbait36 💙
Man me too... i thought only pokemon cards are worth something...
@@1998natan Did i ask?
@@1998natan I'm going to buy PSA 9-10 everything.
RIP Mr. Takahashi 😢
Tyler the Great Warrior is the most "valuable" because it's invaluable. You literally can't put a price on something so monumentally sentimental. I'm sure that to Tyler, that card represents life itself.
Man you really had my hopes up thinking about the dozen blue eyes white dragons I have buried in a closet in a box somewhere.
‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ manga creator Kazuki Takahashi, may you rest in peace.
Dark paladin, and I loved me a spirit deck, that shit was op back in the day.
imagine if i still had my dark magician girl.. i'm pretty sure it was a pretty rare one too but one of my friends stole it back then so i'll never know now.
I have a dark magician girl too but I lost it hahaha

I was expecting Magi Magi Star Magician Girl to be on this list since it was only released in Japan.
My expensive Yu-Gi-Oh cards is the old tin secret rare E-hero neos

I don't know much about MTG but I have heard that before from people who play
Really thought that Exodia or the 3 legendary dragons would be in there tbh
That what I was thinking too lol
If this list was more accurate…..the psa dds exodia would be on it. But the god cards wouldn’t.
RIP Kazuki takahashi❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not a terrible list, but it’s definitely not accurate. You have a lot of cards that are supposed to be in the top 10, but not in the right place. For example, the Tyler card should be number 1 as it’s the only one in existence and will ever be made. It’s literally priceless currently.
The actually Number 1 was also Made just one Time so what
Yeah the two top spots are one of a kind cards/basically priceless considering there can only be one owner. I'd rather have the black luster soldier card though personally as the other card was made specifically for someone else, not for me.
Notable mentions should have been some of the secret rares from Retro pack 1.
I'm lucky enough to own a Cyber harpie lady from the set.
Rarity?
Was wondering when mojo would touch this yugioh subject. Was just a matter of click, bait, and wait.
Enjoy!
Then don't watch it if you don't like it ...
Dude imagine creating your own yugioh card now that would be awesome
Those “if this monster attacks directly and reduces the opponents life points to 0 you win the duel” effects are just dumb 😂
A bit redundant for sure.
They're prize cards for tournament winners. Its also unplayable, only as collection.
Blue eyes ultimate dragon is like the evolved form of blue eyes white dragon, and also the blue eyes shining dragon is like the final form.
Bummer that Pegasus’ Toon cards, nor Bakura’s and Marik’s made this list. There were several good cards of theirs that were incredibly rare and surely were just as valuable as these listed.
No not really….
