We need the top 10 cards in Joey's deck. Joey is usually underrated but he had some of the best cards. Warriors and Beast warriors was his monster theme. (noticed years later lol)
Joey's card is just full of cheap trick, and it suit his gambling type of play. He's not a strong duelist, but he's so annoying. I think Kaiba and Keith Bandit would agree with me.
Funny enough. Joey's structure deck in duel links is actually usable if u upgrade the deck with some certain warrior cards. I use a beatdown deck in duel links with warriors. Also gilford the legend can get stronger than certain beatsticks with its effect to equip as many as possible equip spells to gilford.
These really were Yugi/Atem's best cards and the ones I loved seeing watching the original series. On something of a happy note, practically ALL of them have received upgrades or support cards to really fill them out and even add some story to them.

I would have put Black Luster Soldier over Magician of Black Chaos personally. I know that the Magician is significant for plot reasons, but Black Luster Soldier is more powerful and not to mention that it fuses with Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to become a monster that rivals the Egyptian God Cards.
Dark Magician being #1 was kinda obvious, as it’s Yugi’s main monster. Every Yu-Gi-Oh! protagonist has had their own main monster that they’ve brought in every duel
Well blue eyes white dragon was so cool monster that before the anime started the creator wanted to give him to the main character but then he changed it because he didnt wanted the protagonist have stronger monsters than the other enemies&friends

Except United Divine Knight - Timaeus was just a one time thing and not exactly "iconic", which is more what this list is; not necessarily the "strongest". (Otherwise, Chaos Soldier / Black Luster Soldier would be on the main list rather than just an honorable mention.) And, of course, that's only in the anime that he had "infinity times three" ATK. The Eye of Timaeus is more iconic.

No, it should be etiher BLS Envoy of the beginning or Dark Magician of Chaos. The former because it has seen lots of competitive play, and was very powerful in it's format considering that it can banish a monster during a format when non-battle destruction wasn't that common. And the latter because it helped facilitate one of the first meta FTK; Magical Scientist FTK.
OMG This video was extremely coincidental because I was at work and I saw one of the lab guys actually playing Yu-Gi-Oh online and we got into a conversation all about Yu-Gi-Oh and what type of player I used to be and what my deck was like and funny enough I think I was trying to remember Marrick and I think in the conversation I had mentioned that there should have been a top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh cards video and what do you know top 10 Yugi Muto cards pops up. So coincidental I swear didn't expect that! I also remember most of these not all though. I feel kinda sad that I remembered Exodia but then thought it was an Egyptian God card. Well blue eyes white dragon was so cool monster that before the anime started the creator wanted to give him to the main character but then he changed it because he didnt wanted the protagonist have stronger monsters than the other enemies&friends

You forgot Divine Knight who has over infinity of damage. At the yugi dartz final battle.
Except United Divine Knight - Timaeus was just a one time thing and not exactly "iconic", which is more what this list is; not necessarily the "strongest". (Otherwise, Chaos Soldier / Black Luster Soldier would be on the main list rather than just an honorable mention.) And, of course, that's only in the anime that he had "infinity times three" ATK.

No, it should be etiher BLS Envoy of the beginning or Dark Magician of Chaos. The former because it has seen lots of competitive play, and was very powerful in it's format considering that it can banish a monster during a format when non-battle destruction wasn't that common. And the latter because it helped facilitate one of the first meta FTK; Magical Scientist FTK.

Atem and Yami? They're the same person. Yami was essentially just a placeholder name util his name was revealed to be Atem
Technically, Atem is the Pharaoh's mortal coil while Yami Yugi is the Pharaoh's soul trapped in the Millenium Puzzle possessing Yugi's body.

Yeah, it technically doesn't count as it was a completely unique card and not a "Monster Card" while the OCG/TCG turned it into a Magic Card.

OMG This video was extremely coincidental because I was at work and I saw one of the lab guys actually playing Yu-Gi-Oh online and we got into a conversation all about Yu-Gi-Oh and what type of player I used to be and what my deck was like and funny enough I think I was trying to remember Marrick and I think in the conversation I had mentioned that there should have been a top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh cards video and what do you know top 10 Yugi Muto cards pops up. So coincidental I swear didn't expect that! I also remember most of these not all though. I feel kinda sad that I remembered Exodia but then thought it was an Egyptian God card. But you can't blame me for remembering it like that. I mean they both insanely powerful! This is taking me back. Kaiba next please.
