A precious little baby boy, such a sweet blessing. We get who the Lord gives us. We have one Grandson and 10 granddaughters and we have 5 girls ourselves. My last daughter just found out she is having a baby boy. I can't wait but would have been just as excited for another baby girl. God is good! Healthy babies are all that matter.
My mother in law used to say that also…as long as they are healthy. After our fourth son, I think some kind of pitied us, but they have been such a blessing.

Hey guys! I actually just randomly stumbled upon your account, which is so timely as we just had our gender reveal on Saturday March 23, ALSO finding out we were having our 4th boy! So much of what you guys shared resonated with me as I’ve completely experienced all of it. Thank you for your authenticity but also remaining thankful and glorifying God in it all. He really does know what he’s doing and each child is such a blessing. I’ve yearned for a daughter ever since I was a young girl so I’ve honestly questioned “why, God?” Many times. But having faith is going beyond what we understand and trusting that He has everything working together for the good of those who love Him. I think our boys may be similar ages too by the looks. We have a 6 (almost 7) year old, 5 year old, and 22 month old. Next guy is due in Sept! What a privilege and gift to raise mighty men of God, future leaders! And also for them to have such special bonds with one another. Lots of love from Australia x

Congratulations! All of your feelings and reactions are so normal! When I was pregnant with my first I was DESPERATE for a girl until my hairdresser told me “boys always love there mamas so much”. It softened my heart and I was ready for either one. I ended up having a boy and I’m so glad. I’d be honored to have 3 more just like him❤

My beloved paternal grandmother who was my best friend and lived to be 98, had nine boys and one girl, who was number seven, in the sibling lineup. Bumma Bain was Mother-of-the-Year in VA in 1966, and my dear dad, the crème-de-la-crème, was the eldest. He and my mom had six girls and one boy. I have twin sons and two younger daughters. Now my children are having babies. Sons are immense blessings! Mine are my best friends!

The opposite experience, the daughter who looks up to her dad, and mom and daughter girl time. These boys will bring daughter in laws into your lives. It's like your grieve the idea of what it would be like. But after the initial response I also did a 180 change and I enjoyed my second boy so much. I love y’all’s honesty. I always thought I’d have a girl first. I miscarried my first and I really feel like she’s a girl. My rainbow baby was a boy. I prayed and prayed for him after years of infertility and loss. But I still felt disappointed when I found out he was a boy. And I did cry 😆 but obviously he came and I wouldn’t have it any other way but I get it. I got a late start because of the struggle with infertility and loss. I’m feeling all the feels for you. I have six boys and one girl. My girl being our sixth child. After our Forth baby, mostly because of peoples comments and wishes for us I really started longing for a baby girl. After a miscarriage, the Lord blessed us with a baby girl, and we are so thankful to at least have one. I know that I am naturally a better boy mom because I grew up with five brothers and no sisters until my parents adopted a baby girl later on when I was 17. My first five boys are very close in age and close as friends. That to me is a huge bonus. I feel like the Lord knows best and I completely understand your emotions and I also know that your family will be perfect just the way God planned it. Praying your pregnancy goes well and may God bless your growing family.

God does know what's best we have all girls and if it's safe for me to have another I am not going to lie would love a boy however would be incredibly greatful for another girl to. I understand what you're saying about the shock of the gender reveal. I'm the oldest in my family and I always wanted a sister. As a girl, I would pray every night that God would give me a sister. When my youngest brother was born, I initially remember the slight disappointment that I would probably never have a sister. However, I loved him dearly, and I wouldn't want it any other way. God never answered my prayer for a sister, but he took away the desire, and he blessed me with wonderful girl friends. Fast forward to 11 months ago and I got blessed with a daughter. It was so special to me since I always hoped to have a daughter. God truly knows what's best for your family.

Sutton, I've always been very close with my MIL and felt like she had a special ability to love me and my fellow sister-in-laws because she didn't have daughters of her own. It's been such a healing, life giving relationship in my life! So hopefully if your future is all boys that means God sets you up so you can love on your daughter-in-laws in a special way they need.
Comments like this annoy me so much. Some people don’t want 5 kids. Some people don’t only have kids for a certain gender. They said they wanted 4 kids. I hope you always wanted 5 kids and didn’t just have another to “try for a girl” .

Perhaps that wouldn’t work for you and your family but it did for us. It was just a little encouragement for them. Obviously they are grown adults who can make up their own minds whether they truly want to stop now or consider having another. Furthermore, they made it plain that they really wanted a girl. I think it’s wonderful and your house is going to be the fun boy house. My aunt always wanted a little girl and she also had all boys. But now 40 years later, she has several daughter-in-law‘s and a tribe of granddaughters.
My sister has 4 boys and she always felt she would have a daughter and that part of her dream died because she couldn’t have any more after her 4 due to complications. The most exciting thing for her was when she realized God picked her to raise 4 Godly young men and that is a real blessing. I also pointed out to her that now she gets 4 daughters and she never expected that.
I had 3 boys very planned pregnancies and we were done after 3. We never found out the gender until birth but I definitely as you said mourned not having a girl. Well… when my youngest was 6 we had a very accidental surprise pregnancy, twin girls! So you just never know!
I married the youngest of four boys. He’s an amazing gift to me 😊. We have five daughters (and 2 sons). My in-laws ended up with far more granddaughters than grandsons.

And then after my marriage broke down and got divorced the Lord brought me into another relationship and my new partner has 2 girls of his own! And there was definitely a part of me that considered that maybe we should have a child together to try for a boy but we’re definitely past that baby stage of our life and we also feel content with 5 girls! And my spouse even says he doesn’t think he could handle a boy! Lol. It’s pretty sweet to have 5 girls too! Not many people can say that! But I definitely get the emotions that can be disappointing when it’s not what you expect! But all children are such miracle blessings! Your boys are going to have so much fun together growing up!! We wanted a son and did not find out the gender as I didn't want to go through the emotions of disappointment and I knew when they placed that baby into my arms, I wouldn't care. It was true. I was so excited to sew matching girl clothes and having my daughters become best friends and I was thrilled. That daughter is now 32 and she has always known we wanted her to be a boy but we are in awe of a God who gives us what we need. She loves the story of how she completely transformed our desires. So I get where Nate is coming from and I hope that he doesn't think he needs to hide that desire from baby boy number four. It can really be an example of God's wisdom. Our girls are our everything and I praise God every day for our unanswered prayer.

I love y’all’s honesty. I always thought I’d have a girl first. I miscarried my first and I really feel like she’s a girl. My rainbow baby was a boy. I prayed and prayed for him after years of infertility and loss. But I still felt disappointed when I found out he was a boy. And I did cry 😆 but obviously he came and I wouldn’t have it any other way but I get it. I got a late start because of the struggle with infertility and loss. We’re trying for one more and I really pray I have a girl! Thank you guys for sharing and congrats!

Hey, I love you guys so I’ll be blunt. When I was where you guys are at, I thought I had some control over this baby thing … you guys read your Bible!!I know you do!!! Who opens the womb?!?! So who determines the gender? Hey, I even know a couple who had the op (taking things into your own hands). They ended up with a reversal (conviction) and having one more child who has been a huge blessing!

I’m feeling all the feels for you. I have six boys and one girl. My girl being our sixth child. After our Forth baby, mostly because of peoples comments and wishes for us I really started longing for a baby girl. After a miscarriage, the Lord blessed us with a baby girl, and we are so thankful to at least have one. I know that I am naturally a better boy mom because I grew up with five brothers and no sisters until my parents adopted a baby girl later on when I was 17. My first five boys are very close in age and close as friends. That to me is a huge bonus. I feel like the Lord knows best and I completely understand your emotions and I also know that your family will be perfect just the way God planned it. Praying your pregnancy goes well and may God bless your growing family.

Thankyou for being real about this it's OK to be a bit dissapointed and sad without being ungrateful. God does know what's best we have all girls and if it's safe for me to have another I am not going to lie would love a boy however would be incredibly greatful for another girl to. God has called you to be boy parents and there is nothing wrong with that at all ! He knows you are the best to raise a group of boys ! I understand what you're saying about the shock of the gender reveal. I'm the oldest in my family and I always wanted a sister. As a girl, I would pray every night that God would give me a sister. When my youngest brother was born, I initially remember the slight disappointment that I would probably never have a sister. However, I loved him dearly, and I wouldn't want it any other way. God never answered my prayer for a sister, but he took away the desire, and he blessed me with wonderful girl friends.
Fast forward to 11 months ago and I got blessed with a daughter. It was so special to me since I always hoped to have a daughter. God truly knows what's best for your family.
Congrats! We will find out what our 4th is next month. There is potential for this to be our fourth girl. 💕 We have to trust that God trusts and approves of how we are raising our babies. 🩷

Sutton, I've always been very close with my MIL and felt like she had a special ability to love me and my fellow sister-in-laws because she didn't have daughters of her own. It's been such a healing, life giving relationship in my life! So hopefully if your future is all boys that means God sets you up so you can love on your daughter-in-laws in a special way they need.

Comments like this annoy me so much. Some people don’t want 5 kids. Some people don’t only have kids for a certain gender. They said they wanted 4 kids. I hope you always wanted 5 kids and didn’t just have another to “try for a girl” .
@@AM-bs1eu They were clearly a little disappointed that they didn’t have a girl. We did try again for a fifth because we wanted a girl. Perhaps that wouldn’t work for you and your family but it did for us. It was just a little encouragement for them. Obviously they are grown adults who can make up their own minds whether they truly want to stop now or consider having another. Furthermore, they made it plain that they really wanted a girl. Let’s try not to be so testy with strangers on the internet 🥴🥴

I think it’s wonderful and your house is going to be the fun boy house. My aunt always wanted a little girl and she also had all boys. But now 40 years later, she has several daughter-in-law‘s and a tribe of granddaughters.

My sister has 4 boys and she always felt she would have a daughter and that part of her dream died because she couldn’t have any more after her 4 due to complications. The most exciting thing for her was when she realized God picked her to raise 4 Godly young men and that is a real blessing. I also pointed out to her that now she gets 4 daughters and she never expected that.
I had 3 boys very planned pregnancies and we were done after 3. We never found out the gender until birth but I definitely as you said mourned not having a girl. Well… when my youngest was 6 we had a very accidental surprise pregnancy, twin girls! So you just never know!
We thought we were done at 4! Lol. Currently past due with our 10th baby! God definetly had other plans! 6 boys and expecting our 4th daughter! ❤😊

Lol you guys are cute! I really wanted a boy and had 3 girls! And then after my marriage broke down and got divorced the Lord brought me into another relationship and my new partner has 2 girls of his own! And there was definitely a part of me that considered that maybe we should have a child together to try for a boy but we’re definitely past that baby stage of our life and we also feel content with 5 girls! And my spouse even says he doesn’t think he could handle a boy! Lol. It’s pretty sweet to have 5 girls too! Not many people can say that! But I definitely get the emotions that can be disappointing when it’s not what you expect! But all children are such miracle blessings! Your boys are going to have so much fun together growing up!! We wanted a son and did not find out the gender as I didn't want to go through the emotions of disappointment and I knew when they placed that baby into my arms, I wouldn't care. It was true. I was so excited to sew matching girl clothes and having my daughters become best friends and I was thrilled. That daughter is now 32 and she has always known we wanted her to be a boy but we are in awe of a God who gives us what we need. She loves the story of how she completely transformed our desires. So I get where Nate is coming from and I hope that he doesn't think he needs to hide that desire from baby boy number four. It can really be an example of God's wisdom. Our girls are our everything and I praise God every day for our unanswered prayer.
