Makes me feel like Brahms wrote it for us trumpet players! You guys are great!👏👏👏
I aspire to such great trumpet playing. 3 years in, now. Decades of world-class level French horn, but I am now doing the trumpet dance.
Brandon is a MAJOR inspiration and model for my goals.
Brilliant man. Always loved hearing you play this!
Bravo. What a gorgeous sound in all registers. Enthrallingly musical and heroic.
You good player and i love you
All you need is love!!!
Brandon; you're picking up where Marcel left off. Best of everything from Battle Creek
Nice transcription. It works.
Bravo!!
Ridenour, prachtig
Damn you're good. You're an actual god, well played!
wat een souplesse!
bravo!
Where have you been?, this sounds very good
LOL!!! "very good"...
GREAT!!!!!!
Does anyone know where I can find this music?
It's available for free on IMSLP. Just google: Brahms Sonatensatz imslp. It's the scherzo under "F-A-E Sonata (Various)".
Alessandro Bonotto Thanks that helped a lot
Alessandro Bonotto thank you very much.
Bradon you amazing player but i think that you play class with jazz voice and this ok but strange
Hmmm... I hear a wonderfully complete and rounded sound production from Brandon, with amazing diversification of tonal coloring - on command - from Brandon.
What "class" sound have you been conditioned to accept as such? Jazz = well rounded? 'Classical'/legit = bright and tinny? - No, no... that's usually referred to as "Commercial".
In FACT, the Houston Symphony Ballet Orchestra has a very special mouthpiece designed for their trumpeters, so as not to be TOO BRIGHT and CRASS - it's warmer and more balanced (in my opinion - but what do I know? - I play the BIGGEST TRUMPET MOUTHPIECE MADE!!! - and it sounds like God).
"jazz voice" - Brandon does not sound, in this recording, ANYTHING like a "jazz voice" trumpeter. He sounds like a badass musician.
