  • This video is an update on the Milwaukee Track saw found in my Unboxing and Review video - • Milwaukee Track saw! I...
    I have had a few comments asking if it fits the Milwaukee 48-22-8422 - ( tinyurl.com/ye... ), YES! it in-fact does fit, with some slight modification, or none, if you're okay forcing it in (that's what she said)
    Thanks for watching, as usual, comment, like and subscribe!!

    Heavily invested in the m18 platform. Don’t need a large pack out and this video sealed the deal. Bare tool plus ammo case it is for me

    Already had this as an idea before it came out. Those half sized Large boxes are awesome. They fit the nailers, drills bits etc. make it so simple to bring what you need to site without having a massive box

      Yeah, i pre ordered the track saw back in November. Before i did i checked with my Makita track saw and it also fit but tight. Figured the Milwaukee would be the same thing and just need some modifications. Worked out well. Thw packout it comes with as the kit is massive and unnecessary

    In fact. Milwaukee could have moved that battery location over 3/8” so make this saw fit perfectly in the ammo crate. That XL box is stupid overkill.

      Yeah. The battery location ruins it from fitting perfect into the ammo crate. No way am I lugging around that massive packout

    As many others have said, job well done. Packouts ain’t small, and an XL box that doesn’t need to be an XL box is one I’ll take. That space savings is huge.

    I'm trying to make this happen at the moment, and it doesn't seem like shortening the part on the right side would do anything because that whole side of the saw is flat. So far my box seems to be bowing out a bit more but maybe trimming both of the right side pieces away will help

      I just trimmed the left side, where the battery is

      @@Outlaw.Woodworking cool, I wasn't sure about the other side. I am going to try softening the plastic on the side with heat to get it to change position so the side doesn't bow out either. It should move easily enough without a large amount of heat, so I will see how it works

      @@cameronnebejust curious how it went heating the side of the packout ammo box to fit the tracksaw?

    • @cameronnebe
      @cameronnebe 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@frankbenner8499 it worked, but in getting and trying to bend it, it left those lighter colored stress marks and didn't really accomplish the goal, so I would say it's not necessary. The top of the box flexes about the same as before I did all that

      @@cameronnebethanks for the update! I’m either going to just squeeze the tracksaw in there or maybe (and who am I kidding) buy another front door packout case. ( I just needed an excuse and this will do lol)

    Does anyone know if it works with the dewalt track saw dcs520?
