    Mike, thanks for another great video and review. I know now why I could never be a TH-camr; your garage is immaculate. My shop looks like a dust bin. My take away from this video is that this saw looks like a beautiful tool; but, at my age, I can't justify the expense. I'll continue to use the old Skil saw and straight edge until I die. P.S., I'm not a production shop, nor do I do any huge projects anymore.

      The side I let you see is clean! 🤣 We’ve been filling up fast with materials and new tools to review and it’s turning into a jumbled mess in here! I’m trying to get ahead of the vids before we go on vacation. After that I’ll build some big shelves and there’s a new big toolbox getting delivered. Maybe then I can turn the camera around!
      I think $950 for a track saw is a tough pill for almost everyone to swallow. Unless your going to use it to make piles of money of course. We’ve got the Wen 40v track saw soon and 3 new table saws waiting in the boxes. Thanks as always Meat!

    The best thing about the cordless track saw, it makes the corded one way more affordable. unless you are a deck or door contractor. I don't see the need for a cordless track saw. power outlet is every where inside a house or shop, and the corded track saw is best pairing with the auto start vacuum.

      You make a solid point! If you can resist the buying the coolest latest gadgets it’s relatively easy to work on the cheap. Up until about 5 years ago I only used a corded 15 amp Milwaukee Sawzall and circular saw. I replaced them with M18 Fuel tools at an expense of about $500 for the two with chargers and 9ah bats. Still use the old ones just for fun on occasion. You could cut a car in half with that Super Sawzall! Thanks for watching!

    I like how you think! Combining the saw with a 3rd party track is a great idea!

    Cool video Bruh, I like the part about the other track. Ive been. on Milwaukee for over 10 years, and wouldn’t buy anything else. I Should really sell all the other colors I still have lying Around

    What is the advantage of the PowerTec track vs the WEN track? Assuming 110" versions of either.

    The anti tip feature only works with the milwaukee track. Also, you didn't mention the scoring feature for the saw

    I waited a long time for this saw without a projected date of arrival, I couldn't wait any longer since I had a huge door job coming so I got the Mafell MT 55 and I will admit no other saw even comes close not even Festool, Mikita or the newly arrived Milwaukee. So thanks to Milwaukee not entering the market place on time I have the flex saw bar non.
    Mafell is so confident in their track and especially their connection they don't offer the crazy long tracks for accuracy so every track is easily transportable.
    This saw system is the single most expensive tool investment I have made but outside of abuse this saw will out live me easily.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mafell definitely makes some cool looking track and beam saws. I always wondered how the arrive at some of their pricing though. They have a beam chain saw that costs more than the 2015 GMC Sierra I recently bought! Thanks for watching!

    Were you able to adjust saw to both read and cut a true 45 degree bevel cut? Since it was originally locking in at 44 degrees out of the box?

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews

      This was a little different from our normal vids in that this was brand new and borrowed from a friend. Usually was adjust and test all the tools but this one I didn’t. Sorry I can’t answer your question. Thanks for watching!

    Looks like a nice machine, I'm with you though, doesn't seem like the best value if starting fresh. Makita for example I can get the 36v with 2 batteries, charger and case for $500 at time of writing, and those batteries can also be used with the whole line of tools like Milwaukee and is similarly mostly Festool compatible. But if you need a track saw, especially cordless, and are already invested in M18 it seems like a solid choice, just pick up your choice of track and container.

    Looks like it's really well thought out as far as features go,... but at almost a grand I can't see myself ever buying one.
    For me, if I was cutting enough sheet material to justify that kind of expense, I think I would just look for a used panel saw for about the same price.
    On the other hand, I guess not everyone has the room for something like that, and for someone working on job sites I could see this being a great choice.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Me neither honestly. It’s just too much money for something I wouldn’t use enough. If I spent my days cutting sheets it would be at the top of the list. That 2x20 cordless Wen at the end looks pretty decent for the $185 I paid. Got a lot of cool stuff lined up but should get to it next month. Thanks as always for watching!

      @@ProjectsForAllReviews The amount of detail that you go into showing all of the little extra features built into the tools really takes your reviews to a level above most,... and I never feel like you're trying to sell me the tool, which really makes a big difference for me.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. People are smart and can make they’re own decisions. I figured it would be nice if you could see every detail just as if your holding it and make up your own mind. That was the goal and I’m glad to hear it shows.

    Nice review! Does the Wen track have the extrusion that allows the anti-tip feature to hook into? I saw some tracks have ‘em, and others don’t.

      Good question and I wish I’d put the Milwaukee on the Wen track and checked. The Wen track has a similar feature but I don’t know if it’s 100% compatible with the Milwaukee saw. Thanks for watching!

    Another great review, thanks Mike! I picked one up and one thing on the track is they are not 'exactly' like the Festool/Makita. The TSO and some of the 3rd party accessories like the squares won't work. TSO and others are working on Milwaukee specific stuff but no ETA.

    That’s not right. You’re gonna have to calibrate that it’s kind of a pain. There are two Allen screws on the bottom of the saw anyways mine out of the box was 45°.perfect. Until I dropped it, that’s what I had to learn how to calibrate it.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure Steffan! Usually I go over all the calibrations and adjustments but this saw was new and not mine so we had to cut out the usual disassembly and calibrations. Thanks for watching!
