I struggled with sexual immorality for years. But now I understand and have told God that I don't want sex unless it's within a Christian marriage. If I can't have that, then I don't want it, because I realize it's immoral outside of a marriage. Please pray for me that a good man will be given to me from God. Thank you.

Same, sis. I'm praying for a husband every other day. And not just anyone, but a man who loves God more than life itself. If he loves God, obeying God is a given and we'll both not have infidelity issues and the like. Cheating is one thing I'm not dealing with. I don't do it, I expect my partner to be on the same page.

I'm single and abstaining. What people rarely discuss is the struggle to avoid immorality. The struggle is real! 😅 However, I believe that abstaining will bring me and my future spouse closer together.
One other benefit is that it weeds out the people who are only looking for... Physical pleasure. They, for the most part, won't stick around.
That's my thought exactly. God gave us this command for a reason. On a practical level, it helps to eliminate sexual urges from the equation. There are so many people that get married simply because the sex is good, but that is nothing to build a life or a future on.
It also helps to discover liars, not just people that won't stick around. I'm a man and the two girls Tha tive previously dated were obviously looking for me to save them from their bad situations and move them into a nice house where they could be away from their family. We had established from the beginning that there wasn't going to be any sex until marriage, and then after they pressed the issue and saw I wouldn't budge, I caught them cheating.
Tursn out if people want something other than sex from you, abstaining from sex just means they'll go elsewhere and make it easier to catch their infidelity.

Exactly! It does weed out the people who are only looking for physical pleasure. There are so many "Christians " out there who don't have a problem with sex before marriage. Well, the Bible says that people who say they are Christians and still believe sexual sin is OK are Christians by name only. When you truly give your life to Christ you TURN from your sins. You forsake the old man. You walk in Christ as a new creation.

@SK-le4lj been there done that! It's very hard. I'm sure there are girls that may do that with they guys who are trying to abstain too. I think there are churches that are not fully preaching the word of God. So the singles don't really get all the facts about how God wants us to wait until we're married to have sex. That's the problem! They're not being taught what the Bible says. The pastor is just gloss over the bad stuff and preaching the Good fluffy God loves you stuff which is good but people need to hear the whole Bible the whole truth! Then they would not be getting into sexual sin

It's a rhetorical question, because the Bible clearly teaches that Consensual Sex is marriage, so that there can never ever be a case of sex before marriage.

Great message Allen. One other and most important regarding "sex" outside of marriage is the damage it does to children conceived. Many are foster and adopted. Not orphans but foster and adoption. It protects the entire persons!

Thank you brother Allen for talking about this subject. I struggled with sexual immorality for a long time. My life is different now. I didn't realize that I was binding myself to different men every time I was in a dating relationship. I was not following what the Bible instructed and I believed the lies that was mentioned to me men and the devil. I am single and I made the decision 6 years ago to no longer have any sexual relations with a man until I get married. The devil is trying to break me but I am standing my ground by reading the Bible, prayer, and talking to mature Bible believing sisters. Please pray for me.

The Bible very clearly teaches that Consensual Sex is Marriage - aka you are already married to the fist man that you consented to have sex with. Once you repent, then you get baptised and then are a new creature in Christ, where you can then wait for a man who consents to spending the rest of his life with you, then you have sex, then you are married in the eyes of God. What the church or Pastor or Government says is irrelevant, because the Bible says consensual sex = marriage!

Augustine thought something along those lines. It makes sense given his own personal story, but he was wrong.
Sex is only a sin if it is outside of marriage. God uses sexual pleasure between a married man and woman to create families.

My life's experience has been incredibly sexually damaging. Damage in this area can never be fully overcome.
This current culture is heinously damaging, especially to children. They need the voice of God's ways to protect them from situations that can completely wreck their lives.

I am struggling with purity and also fighting sexual fantasy! I deal with trauma so it triggered me sometimes but i keep fighting and abstaining it until the Lord give me a spouse!
Have you considered a therapist or phycologist? Marriage will not help that lust to go away. I would consider getting serious help first.
@@letuwait baffles me when people say marriage doesn’t make lust go away. If a person is lusting because they are unmarried and have no sexual outlet, then of course getting married and having that sexual outlet is going to help!!
@@letuwa even with therapist it still doesn't go away. And yes i go to christian therapist/counseling. This is a battle because dealing with trauma is never ending and exhausting so even going to therapist it will not go with a snap of a finger and life doesn't make it easier too it can cause trigger which i am aware of it.

@@jncon8013if the desire for sex is natural and not influenced by outside factors such as trauma (e.g. rape) or pornography, then yes, marriage will cure the lusting. But if the source of the lust is not the natural desire for sex, but something else, something outside of that, then even marriage alone will not be enough to cure the lust, since the underlying factors will need to be addressed.

Love, compassion, and prayers are all we truly need. As a single mom, things have been tough on me. My husband passed years ago. I still miss him dearly. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. Since covid I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself but my faith in GOD is strong! I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I’ve been struggling since. I declined because of my health conditions lupus, and heart disease. I tried to get my job back at Forsyth hospital but they are still wanting vaccinated people over the unvaccinated. I’m now waitressing Im thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. BUT! Even as I constantly struggle to pay my rent. And I constantly struggle to provide groceries for my children! I’m choosing to keep faith. Walking with faith is the most important thing us christian’s must do. So as I struggle I Thank you Heavenly Father and I thank you Yeshua I will keep faith! Amen! ❤

Is there any legal recourse you can take to retaliate against your previous job for refusing to take the vaccine? I think I saw that many people were suing their old workplaces for being fired after that was deemed unconstitutional.

I see that he’s saying that solution to sexual temptation is marriage because we can express our desires in marriage. However, what about the fruits of the spirit such as self control? This is valid point. Marriage don't solve lust as many married ppl cheat and watch porn as he stated in the video. I think he was saying for the single ppl the only way to not give into fornication is marriage as scripture states. But yes it complicated because ppl still lust in marriage. I'm 61 years old and I have never been married. I feel that I have been cheated out of a sex life. I am angry with God about my situation. It is so unfair.

Absolutely understandable. In my ignorance the best advice I can give is tell Him. When you're angry with God don't hold back. Tell Him, maybe shake your fist but be honest. He knows everything anyway, but opening that communication may help you understand. Love and caring to you brother.

This reminds me heavily of the premarital counseling my now wife and i went through a couple years ago. Our pastor actually emphasized the importance of sex within marriage obviously without delving too deep into the specifics as that would be a little odd.

I was previously a drug addict I have over 20 years clean. During that time I prostituted and I had to abortions. The guilt of it all still stays with me even though I prayed so many times for forgiveness. I want a nice man. A faithful man and they seem to be harder to find these days to be honest.
Join me in this prayer. The more that pray it the stronger it gets. Pray God’s will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. Pray God protects and blesses the children. Pray for the truth to be revealed. Pray God lifts the scales from the lukewarm and lost eyes, opens their ears and soften their hearts. Pray God strengthens His children, gives them more discernment, pours more Fire on them and wakes them up. Pray the end times harvest will increase. Thank you so much for this. I was sharing some of what you said with my husband, and he said he's glad to know someone is talking about this. I completely agree.
I've heard of far too many people who have used sex as a weapon against their spouse. It's awful, and makes me so sad for the one being deprived.
One thing I wish we would talk about more is the affects of being taught so much to abstain until marriage, while having very few, if any, conversations about how to initiate with your husband or wife once you are married.
I'll go out on a limb and say that purity culture, or perhaps my misunderstanding of it as an early twentysomething, really hurt me in this way. I didn't marry until my early forties, and even now, after almost a year, it's still surreal that these things aren't sinful between us.
More pastors, and pastors' wives, need to be talking about this with married couples.
We must keep in my what Genesis 1:28 said. I totally agree of the sensation of sex in a marriage, it's what it produces - precious children many of which are conceived via lust and infatuation and are not wanted, loved and care for. This many times causes a generation of the same and the goal of the enemy (Satan) is just what he wants to undermine the power of what builds a strong society.

It's hard to ask for mercy when you continue doing the thing that you're asking for mercy from. At that point you're not asking for mercy, you're just asking to not suffer the consequences. Mercy means you recognize the error of your ways and are asking for leniency in exchange for the promise of refraining from that course of action.

@@NovusIgnisthat’s not necessarily true. The Bible tells us that the grace of God is sufficient for us. It’s through the grace of God one can truly repent. If one confess their sin and is sincere, in due time, the Lord will give us the grace to overcome the weaknesses of our flesh. It’s not something you can overcome in your own strength or will. We should all pray that God should give us the grace to overcome whatever we are finding it difficult to let go of.
