Can you make a video about female dogs in heat and some tips? I know you have male dogs, but have fostered in the past. Our puppy is currently in heat and I'd love some tips and facts if you have any!
I imagine her number one advice would be to get her little operation done ASAP.

I think the best thing to do is give them lots of attention and love, put a diaper on and after like 8 weeks after heat you can spay her.

Haha I can really relate with you because I also get nervous when guests are over 😅 I’m honestly so surprised by how much dogs are affected by our energy! I’ve definitely noticed lots of improvement in my dog’s behavior when I calm myself down too. These tips are wonderful, so thank you for sharing them :-)

I would love tips on getting my dog exercised and mentally tired during the winter shorter days. I live in a rural area and so even with a good torch (or flashlight) dark walks can be a bit worrying (not gonna lie I'm a bit scared of the dark..too many scary movies!)

When two of my granddaughters come over my dogs lose control!! Excitement plus. They love the girls and visa versa. It is very hard to teach a 12 and 7 yr. old to ignore the dogs. I just sent the video I watched previous to this one about jumping to the older one to share with her sister. Sometimes info coming from a neutral source is better. I'm hoping that they learn something in your video that sticks with them as they have two dogs also and they also jump and I reinforce what good little dog trainers they are! I will have to let you know how this works out. I hope to send more videos in the future. Thank you

I just got a nine month old puppy named grace and she is not interested enough in her food For me to train her so I don’t know what to do with her training and if you have any walking videos because my part Bernie’s Mountain dog golden part poodle jerry he walks so good until he sees a dog but anyway that video was perfect 🤩 because jerry goes crazy at the door and our friends own Jerry’s sister scout and graces sister Norry so they get to see each other all the time. How would I do this with my 4 month old lab/border collie, she stays outside all the time. I had her inside but she really loves being outside. I have four little dogs inside. She likes more room. Plus she has a friend to play with outside. What would you suggest.

I very much agree with your method. However, it is extremely hard for me to have a space by the door to put a "place". I will, and this would be manageable for me, put the leash or hands free leash on her. Are use a manual chair inside and power outside, so this does put a difference in movement, and action on my part; this
immediately affects the way my dog reacts or not reacts. I am working on my own calmness, but there are times when everything and everyone seem to collide at one time.

What about when u use a gate or maybe u put them in another room n they just constantly bark. My friends dog does this n I want to help her n her dog. Her dog can be super hyper when I come over. We try to redirect him. He’s a big golden retriever n super stubborn n has a ton of energy cuz he’s just a pup. We try to ignore but he will jump on me if I ignore him. I will tell her about the leash. She also needs to get better with teaching her dog n being more consistent n I have tried to help her with this also. Any suggestions would help. Thank you
Hi Rachel! I have a 10 week old lab and she is a biter(most likely teething) and jumper! I've tried the place/touch command with her with a blanket/mat but all she wants to do is bite it. ☹️ Any tips for my land shark?

Hi Rachel! Do you have any tips on keeping a doodle's hair neat rather than matted? We have a 10 month bernedoodle that gets brushed daily, and her coat seems fine by looking at it. Yet, the groomers say that apparently it can get a bit knotted underneath. It would be good to add that her hair isn't absurdly long...Any suggestions would be great!❤️
Did you ever tried salmon oil in her food? Made the fur of my doodle super soft and shiny and I can definitely tell it’s easier to brush her. I also recommend to go to the groomers every 8-10 weeks and get a trim :)
We use a metal comb to ensure we remove any tangles down to the skin. Working in small sections.
Just surface brushing won’t do anything with the tangles beneath.
Could you maybe do a video on stealing stuff on the floor? This is what my 8 month old puppy does every time she comes inside. And she also does not go in her crate, even when we throw a treat in there. Any tips?

It’s raining so so much. Puppy came home today. What do I do??
I have a doodle- he is so so good. But it’s pouring and now my training every 3 hours the first night will be different. Any and all suggestions welcomed. Also he pooped today and his first poop had a tiny bit of blood is that normal? Anyone had that happen before?
Blood is NOT normal in poop. Get him tested for parvo as soon as possible. Never ok to have blood in poop.

Talk to me about the feeding of raw food in the toy n the bed. Now that’s going to get raw food on the bed or your rug etc. messy, smelly, bacteria?
But Rachel my BC pup (8months old) listens until guests come over. Her place command is great, goes to crate sits,stands, lays...but then when anyone walks by she flips out and paws the crate, whines and bites the crate. Especially my 3 yr old daughter. I have no clue what to do.

@@MP-wt1lh Zoe will still whine and then bark if my youngest daughter is running thru the house. Sometimes she just whines for attention and it is THE hardest thing to ignore.

Same here, when I get my border collie to the vet He loves there, loves his veterinarian and wants to greet everyone and get overexcited and I simply don't exist anymore, and the problem is that everyone there is praising him for being so excited so they are reinforcing my puppy's behavior IDK what to do

Never happened to me with any of my dogs, it was a “ go to your bed” and they stopped, small dogs can’t stop barking for every little noise they hear. I don’t like to give treats to my pets every time they behave or do what I ask them to do, that’s a no no for me but in case I decide to do give them a treat will be boiled chicken but I avoid the packages that will cause my pets to develop any illness.
People have to understand they are animals they get bored with toys they need exercise outdoor. Stop with the toys inside that house is like giving the baby a phone or iPad so they can give you free time.
How do you stop barking at people when your in the car?
My pup resists eating her food from my hand. She’s takes reward treats no problems but not her food .

I can’t even have guests over. My puppy barks and growls constantly. I’m afraid he’ll attack the person. He tried to bite a couple people before. The hairs on his back stand straight up. He’s like that with literally everyone except my bf and I. I can’t even take him to the vet anymore. Might have to give him a mild sedative or something bc he might bite the vet. And he’s a big dog so everyone is scared of him. Idk why he’s like this but it’s making my life really difficult. He has my heart though so I guess this is just my life now.
I know someone who has a dog similar to this. The hairs on his back stand up, similar to a cat's, when he's anxious. It really depends on how your guests act around your pet- Do they immediately put their hand in his head while standing? Or do they crouch down, and let your dog approach them at his own pace? It could just be that your dogs a young puppy that's still learning (ESPECIALLY pandemic pups). The growling wore off for my puppy after a while, close to a year. Now she's pretty comfortable around humans. Good luck on navigating puppyhood!
@@shanyac7744 he gets like that immediately upon seeing a person. Even if we’re sitting in a car and it’s a person walking the opposite way and minding their own business. It doesn’t matter who the person is or what they’re doing.
