    Hilton has been amazing both in the tune as well in it's customer service. I haven't paid in over a year for the tune yet and they still give me free updates when i have new equipment.

      does the equipment have to be from their brand? how much power does it add?

      @@willriley1619 how did it go with Hilton for your C70? I was planning on Elevate tune but then they dragged an intake order for four months, then I saw this video (and Shark was my backup). What mods have you done?

    • @willriley1619

      @@Dux96 The Hilton tune has been good. My only mods are silicone intercooler hoses, Elevate coilpacks, and eight8fab catted downpipe. I got the stage 2 tune with torque limiter delete and rear O2 delete. Passed inspection no CEL light. However the car still advances and retards timing based temperature. It's legitimate fast in winter but very vanilla in summer.

    • @willriley1619

      I'm also lucky to live in an area that sells Sunoco 94 which helps alot in the summer

      @@Dux96 If I was you I wouldn't even buy a "blanket tune" unless you want a nice daily driver. If you want to make real power look into standalone. There are a few good options like MaxxECU but then you might have to find a local tuner. I would suggest a DSM tuner

    I have a 04 S60R shell that needs to be a car. Your videos give me the inspiration to make that happen. I bought because someone was scrapping a rust free Flash Green shell after parting it out. Having spare parts are always a good idea.

    Had the same issues dealing with Shark Performance. The tune was fine when it ran initially, but it took me over a year of back and forth emails with Juha until I gave up and eventually sold the C30.

    I'll second Hilton for Tunes, Super great service and easy/quick to work with. have a custom 2+ ish on my C30 and a stage 1 on the wagon no complaints at all!

    Yooooo, For the shift knob, I took out the pin and use a euro adapter from grip royal, which adds 12 x 1.5 threads on the end so u can add a variety of shift knobs. This is THE only adapter that works very well and doesnt get loose at all the time I put it on. Heavily reccomend it!!!!!

    Great vid. The one thing I'll always tell people when it comes to tuning their vehicle. Just take it into a shop that does custom tuning. Like... a place where that's their job. It'll be a bit more expensive, but WELL worth it. I really hate that you've (in my opinion) is destroyed the car, but I still think that it's neat you made it your own.

    Love my 2009 c30 r-design. The only mod I did was change my lights to LEDs and also Halos and now I'm stuck seeing the message of my bulbs are malfunctioning. Wish there was a fix to this beside having to install a resistor.

      If you don't have insane budget, then you can never buy a busted car, because your little money will go into getting it in shape instead of modifying it. In my humble opinion this sounds like 200% not fun...

    I actually think your quad fog lights look great, why not 3D print a new housing ?
    On another note I regret selling my c30. I now have a Mazdaspeed 3 , it’s fast , it’s fun like the c30 but the community isn’t as welcoming and it’s kinda turning me off.

    any opinion on newman fast road cam?

    • @MyNameIdeasWereTaken

    hey man, I saw your review for the elevate turbo control valve Solenoid, can I turn up the boost with the solenoid with the elevate tune loaded on already?

    • @lewisdemasi7156
      @lewisdemasi7156 ปีที่แล้ว

      or with any tune loaded on for that matter

    • @MyNameIdeasWereTaken
      @MyNameIdeasWereTaken  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lewisdemasi7156 Your tune file will need to be rewritten specifically for the TCV that you are running. The TCV itself cannot be used to adjust boost levels. The Elevate TCV pairs nicely with the Elevate tune and the Elevate tune should adapt for it. Most other tuners will suggest that you stick with the factory Pierburg TCV, as the Elevate and iPd TCVs are known to give massive boost spikes.

    • @MyNameIdeasWereTaken
      @MyNameIdeasWereTaken  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lewisdemasi7156 With a stock motor (and intake), you could run a Stage1 tune, which would give you slightly better performance than the Polestar tune. The Polestar tune being a factory option for a complete stock engine. That puts you around 210-220WHP
