I completed C rank half way through autumn, when I realized I HAD to have it done if I wanted the greenhouse year one. It was a bit of a struggle at the end, because I hadn't focused on fishing at all yet. I think on everyone's second play throughs we'll be able to easily achieve rank C earlier since we will understand the mechanics better for reaching it.
Totally! We’re all just learning by doing at this point!! I didn’t even look at the offerings ahead of each season because I wanted them all to be a surprise! Didn’t realize winter offerings would be such a challenge hahah.
I am a bit mad that the game really doesn't clearly point out that you won't get ANY seeds from Sam in winter if you don't get a rank level. Now I am in winter and can't farm at all (aside from wild seeds). You should get something (like starter seeds) and then open up more.
Honestly, I was able to get through my first winter pretty comfortably without reaching C rank (I actually was making an average of 5k a day) because I kept many crops from previous seasons and processed them all into artisan goods. Wild seeds on winter are awesome as well because they will always be tea leaves - if you process them in a keg, they will turn into green tea, which will give you around 200 coins per cup.
I'm a completionist and love to do or to collect smallest things in interesting games. Kept grinding on collecting bugs (plus traps), doing side quests, and especially mining (the Giants' main quest) and some diving work definitely help getting my C rank at my first year on Autumn. There are rings of power (trinkets) with special perks that really help thru the game, to name the few: the ring of speed, black marlin ring (for diving only), blessed opal ring. I got so many nodes (fossils) and geonodes in the mining, easy money selling the precious stones!

On my first play through I stumbled into C rank in mid-late Summer by just being a plot hound. I probably could have gotten it closer to Spring, but maybe not in Spring (?) If I had been more focused on Fishing/bug catching for the altars and museum. Will figure out on my next playthrough for sure
I reached C Rank 5 days before winter, I had no time to grow any of the new seeds ! sad puppy eyes ! Would have been much sooner but I had one of my ocean stones glitching and I had to wait almost an in game month for it to respawn.
Oh that’s so interesting about the ocean stone!! I hadn’t heard that before. I’m sorry to hear but at least there’s always next year! Something to look forward to
I do really wish the ocean had a map, with marks for all the healed sites. Cause I think I've done the entirety of the ocean as it stands. I guess I have to donate more to my expanded museum.
I have been away from this game for some time now, I seen they updated a lot on it and a lot more updates are coming November the 14th, so I think I will start playing this alot more again after I move to my new house. I use to be really addicted to this game but the content kind of ran out, so now that new content came to the game, I'm excited to start playing it again ❤
I've completed 7 temple offerings, I healed the 20 coral sites a long time ago (I'm in the area with gold kelp now), and I lost count of how many things I've donated to the museum. I've done all this at the expense of my farm (somewhat). My farming skill is at 5. I'm about halfway through fall/autumn, and I just got to rank D. I love the game, but I am SUPER FRUSTRATED.
Donated 200+ things on museum, healed around 70 corals (on osmium kelp), and have around 5 offerings completed - on rank D as well. I'm nearing my 2nd summer, which honestly makes me realize I've neglected the offerings way too much. But completing them knowing that most things are unaccessible is a bummer lolol
I reached rank C three quarters of the way through Spring year 2. Tried to make one flash but realized I needed sunray shells and I always sold those. So now I have to wait till winter to get the greenhouse...
I was so bummed out. I was racing to get C rank by the first half of winter since the last offering for the greenhouse required WINTER harvest. Imagine the high of achieving it on the 11th and the absolute low of finding out half the WINTER offerings were from FALL seeds. 😁 🥰 😟 ☹ 😥 😫
The main thing that took me so long was after the cut scene, there's some brown coral that looks like something you can't climb on, but it's actually stairs to go deeper. I think I may be found seven or eight since then? But once I healed the first two down those stairs, I got my rank. You're saying there's 41 total we can access right now? I'm thinking I maybe got 30. I don't know if there's a way to check, but I can't find anywhere else to go again.
@@LillyianPuppy If you really need it, I heard there is an unofficial map floating around out there, but I didn't want to use it! I just wanted to find all the sites myself.
Im curious to know if the town rank will be kept when the game is updated and you have to essentially start over... or if the town rank would be kept along with our farm upgrades ect

You’re so welcome!! You will have to unlock the deeper depths to get all sea scavengeables except the sea salt! So clear the first 20 and then in the deeper depths you’ll find what you need
Thanks for this Sarah. I’d like to ask a question. Is there a way to prevent your animals from getting ‘cranky’? I couldn’t see if you done a video which covered this. My chickens are often cranky. I’m not sure it if has something to do with the weather. I’m currently in my first fall and they’re a little sad.
So you need to water fruit trees? you can but I wasnt sure if you have to. I did notice 3 of mine died when it hit fall and i had been watering them every day
Right now only fruit plants are implemented - not fruit trees - so the fruit plants will wither off season! Yes you have to water them - and I planted mine in my greenhouse to avoid them withering! hope this helps!
I got E rank hella late. Mostly cause I’m doing cloud gaming so had that donation issue (still at that rank now) I’ve made so many mistakes already with altars and such lmao
I would love to know how many in years r games it takes to reach Town rank C or better because I have read different forms that says it only takes one year in game. But I am currently spraying year three and only Town rank C

Requiring rank C is insane... It's never stated in the game Fall is almost over and there is no way I reach rank C in time. I guess I'll spam click the bed lol pretty bad design.
You should definitely report it as a bug then!! Sometimes it’s hard to notice the difference but if it’s not working at all, definitely let the team know with the feedback feature in game!!
I'm more concerned about getting to rank seat before the winter and building up my stamina So those will be the first things that will be doing and working on when the game comes out
Trivia question: do you know which real life island Coral Island is based on? It's Bali :) if any of you have visited Bali before, you will be familiar with the architecture and sesajen. a lot of the food items also have indonesian origins . jamu is traditional health potion that comes in so many varieties. the most common ones are rice-galangal jamu and tamarind-turmeric jamu. those two are the mildest tasting ones.

Totally. Fishing takes forever and feels like you get the same 4 fish, and a 25% chance of fliers.

The nice thing is donated to the museum is pretty simple, especially if you "kick those cans" and use the side paths to forage.

I always thought that they'd spelled 'Season' incorrectly on the Temple Offerings alter - didn't realise sesajen was a word
