The Sims Medieval is a spinoff RPG game to the Sims franchise. Set in medieval times, you can complete quests, create sims that live in your kingdom, build new structures, and follow many different storylines.

Between getting wasted and executing people by the sword as the Queen, this is definity my favorite spin off
I'm pretty sure it's the sims game I've put the most hours into after TS2. And that's a lot! It's such a fantastic game. 🤣
If it was stable. The marriage quest has a 15% chance of breaking your game.
@@vanyadollycan u still get it on a laptop
@@localvtuber420 if you have a copy
i looooved this game as a kid/teenager i'm a fantasy girlie and the medieval era is a very strong interest of mine this game was made for me. i was so sad they didn't do anything else with it past that first expansion :( i remember hoping people would make mods for it like they did with sims 3 only to be extremely disappointed when it never came
Me too! It's my favourite to date, and I can't make it work with my macbook aghh
CUTEEE OMG!! LOOK AT OUR PFPS
Wdym? There's a pretty in depth medieval mod for the sims 4
@@itsjocelynpadua yeah but the sims 4 sucks

You can tell the devs had a great time making this game. I played it so much as a kid, the pirate expansion was great!
this is legit my favorite part of the sims series. this games had SO much potential... i only wish it was marketed the right way. just imagine if there were mounts, other kingdoms as locations to visit, custom quests, spontaneous monster attacks, bloodlines, competition for power, etc. the mod community of this game could be absolutely wild. it could be your every fantasy game dream come true. i kinda wish people would remember about this game and decide to adopt it and make it better. it's just such a fun concept with a lot of free space for creativity, if only people were given the right tools.
sims medieval is honestly so much fun, if you want fun back stories and drama i highly recommend playing the scripted events for Pleasantview in the Sims 2! there so many videos on like play order for the events but that town has a LOT of drama and hidden hints to things :) love this video by the way! would love a sims LP of some sort if you are up for it :)
Where can I get this game and can this be played on PC?
@@bixbeax Its pc! On the EA store app
hi!! i absolutely love this game but i got a new computer and it wont open anymore?? do u have any advice
This gaaame! 😭Somewhere between 'whale ate my parents' and a quest where a pirate called Pirate Booty (aka P.Booty, aka Pooty) wanted me to kill a bunch of chinchillas so he could cover his ship in fur, I realized this was a straight up masterpiece. 🤣
It makes me so happy to see people discover it. Anyone who hasn't should try this game, and don't get stuck on the tutorial. The writing is SO GOOD.
It's crazy that in all the years of the sims 4 we have never gotten a spin off game of any kind.... Like 2014 up until now and nada. Anyway, I loved this video Liss
It's because sadly this game did not sell all that well, same reason they never made any DLC past the first one. My best guess is that they already had the first DLC mostly done at launch or that one may have never even came out. The next game they found out they could just sell you obscene amounts of DLC and people would just buy that, so no need for spin off games anymore.
I think they focused more on the mobile game as a spin off, its an easier way to get money
Well Sims4 is a dlc platform that milks gaming whales, and apparently does it so well its just infinite stuff packs forever now.
We might never get a sims 5
the closest we got to a sims 4 spin-off was... journey to batuu. 🙃
I used to play this game night and day and would get no sleep, would get no homework done and my mom finally lost it and snapped the games disk in half so I had to retire forcibly
try world of warcraft been addicted for years still love it
Oh my God, that's awful. I hope you have and can play it now
This is my favorite Sims spinoff, i would love another quest based sims game
Just binged your whole sims spin off series just in time for this
Same!!!
Sims 3 console and psp and 3ds games?
A really random thing about this game that I love is that the skin tones look so much better than vanilla sims 3 they should have honestly ported over the textures because they are so good
That was my EXACT issue with this game I hated starting over and over just to make the home screen look complete and satisfying
If I could start the ambitions with the town I just built I would have never abandoned the game
I got it on an origin flash sale years ago but I got the old IOS version for free on the Apple store when it came out
I wish I could play the mobile version again lol!! Proper mermories
I'm a simple girl, I see Sims Medieval content, I watch. This is like, my all time favourite cosy game.
The traits of this game effect the gameplay soooo much it's awesome. Fatal flaw should be in every sims game
Oh, THIS game! One thing I love about this one, is that not only do you get to play with different character types, but sometimes what one of them does directly affects another character's quest. For example, in one quest my Monarch had to duel a bandit with a special sword. How I started this, was...by playing as the BLACKSMITH, to _make_ the sword, who then sold it to the Merchant. I switched point of view to the Merchant and opened her shop in the morning, not selling the sword from other customers until the Monarch came by.
Then I changed point of view to the Monarch and duelled the bandit. :) You can do an entire frickin' supply chain. I love it.
....also this is the only game in the entire Sims franchise where a Sim can directly, deliberately END another Sim. You don't have to lock them into a basement and say "Oh, it's _totally_ my character doing this, for revenge, in the story" while it's actually you the player doing it and the "revenging" Sim is blissfully unaware, eating grilled cheese upstairs.
No you can straight up duel someone to the death, or chuck them to the Pit Beast!
That + traits such as "licentious" and the fact that you can brew actual alchohol, kinda give The Sims Medieval a bit of a spicier feel....while still having the good ol' Sims wackiness. :)
I loved The Sims Medieval. I wished they did a more open world one like the main titles.
I’m so blessed up to be sick in bed looking for something to watch and seeing this pop-up. This is my favorite sims game and I love this series of you visiting old sims games!
Hope you get well soon!
Hope you're feeling better soon if you aren't already 💕
same here 😭😭💓💓 hope you feel better soon
omg! you're already dropping another sims vid, and the medieval no less, on my birthday?! thank you so much slayboss

liss you actually slayed so hard in this costume
I have really been enjoying this series youre doing Liss!! I've always loved your content but I love watching you find your stride too!!
IM FALLING ASLEEP RN BUT IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS LATER OMFG THE SIMS MEDIEVAL IS SO DEAR TO ME FROM BINGE PLAYING IT LAST YEAR LOL
literally my favorite game ever
you work so hard on these videos for us, pumping these out so quick
omg!! im really looking forward to what you have planned for the new year!!! love the videos
Liss I've been loving every single video you put out! Got me back into playing Sims 4. Keep up the good work! Also: wishing you an amazing 2024!
I love how you bring back gems like this ❤. I got my Sister into the Sims because of this game, it brings so many great memories 🤗
I can't express how much I love these Sims videos. They genuinely make me so happy
I've been binging a lot of your videos and am so entertained! Keep it up, this was so fun to watch!
Absolutely love your videos and these Sims spin offs are too good! Looking forward to your future vids!
I LOVE this game it’s so impressive and such great quality writing throughout. You can tell the devs put some serious love into this game
I remember my dad buying this out for me and i had a really bad eerie about this game. But how medieval game was beautifully crafted thru gameplay, scenery, automations, made this game weirdly nostalgic 😭🤣
Thank you for this callback to my childhood ^^ awesome video!
Love love love the shade thrown to the ea play store
YESS another sims video, bye literally love your channel
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE BABBBYYYY
This was such a fun and comfy video do watch, I used to play this game so much when I was 12, I remember going to the store and look at the cover and be like "whaat? is this an expansion or something?" and I got it and just ended up falling in love, very fun and very underrated, there should be a new one
I love this game so much. I was hyped for it since the ads on TV and I never stopped.
awesome I was hoping for this video!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
This is probably one of my favorite games, haha. There's actually a ton of quests that don't always appear in each playthrough, so even though you're technically starting a new one, you can still play through without repeating very many quests. Also, the challenges after that intro one? They take a LOT longer and get a LOT harder, so even though you created that tutorial kingdom fairly quick and it feels too soon, that stops pretty quick haha. Part of the challenge is trying to hit Gold success with each challenge, and I've gotten pretty dang close to failing SO many times. By the time you complete a challenge, you're kind of ready for a new kingdom with new sims hahaha
the costume is A+, ily thank you for the giggles
I love this game and have some tips. The best fatal flaw is drunkard for sure. Easy to manage with lots of buffs for drinking. Save the Sims you create in CAS and you just pick them again if you want on your next game. Also motherlode works 🎉
Absolutely love this game. Also all the high level bard songs are certified simlish bangers.
This sims series is so fun to watch 😭
Yasssss im living for your videos ❤❤❤
This game is fun but does get tedious after a while. I do like that the ambitions give you something to strive towards but yeah resetting saves is annoying. I do like that doing achievements does unlock more customizations. Also kids can be promoted to the hero if their parent dies.
I love this gsme but never really unlocked everything
I unlocked all the achievements literally last year. And I started playing at launch. 😂 It took a while, but time well spend.
You have just unlocked so many memories
I can't believe I have never even heard of this before now? This looks like so much fun!
Okay, but Liss, you're seriously rockin' that gown. Beautiful, queen! ❤
I love this game so much!! I was surprised it didn't do well when it came out
i love this sims game sm, i got so far in it once that i got overthrow my own monarch
the way I clicked so fast on this notif I been waiting for this game
LOVE the fit omg ❤❤❤ you’re always on theme ❤️❤️❤️
I literally just replayed this game and had sooo much fun. But I ended up uninstalling it when I beat the main storyline and was sad to find out that you can’t keep doing the challenges with an existing save. I hate that to do the big challenges you have to make a whole new kingdom. I was attached to what I had. I guess I could’ve kept playing but my disappointment not being able to complete the challenge system (or rather not wanting to) threw me off.
sims spinoffs went so hard. there's just not that same love and spirit in the franchise anymore
I think it would be really interesting to see you play survival games after you finish with The Sims games!!
This brings back a lot of memories
Liss has the best vibes. Everybody make sure you're subscribed!!! Almost 200K!!!!
Its not stupid fun! Its very inteligent fun 🧠
This game is one of my favorite of all time top 10 ❤
Thx, you introduced me to this game and I bought it directly then tested it and really like it! Thank you again
I genuinely still play this game. Got a whole storyline going on in my game.
I am not, nor have i ever been, interested in the sims games but am i gonna watch all of liss' videos on the sims? Yes, yes of course
Omg the medieval slay 😍 love ur channel btw :3
This inspired me to play it again!
This is one of my favorites!
Im a fairly new sub and Ive got to say i love your content. Looking forward to seeing how you progress in the future
Never heard of this before but it sounds like a blast 😂
Omg, I remember those TV spots for this game with Donald Faison
Nice video! Please make more on this game 😄
I was thinking about getting this game... I had it when I was in middle school back then, but I kinda didn't get it right, because I was young and had literally no attention span at all xD but seeing this video makes me curious again :D
You shoud get it its not that expensive and its a realy fun time
@@liannederuijter3199 I think I might! I like the concept alot
ugh sims medieval was literally my favorite!! i can't get it to work with my computer though :/
tbh yeah, I've been trying to beat every ambition, and now I realize I need to finish one kingdom, then take a break until I feel like playing again in order to start a new kingdom with a new ambition. Because if I try to start a new kingdom right away, I loose interest quickly and end up taking that break anyways. I even have a notepad to take notes on all the quests so that when I reach the final ambition, I can plan the ultimate kingdom!
I need more totk videos they are so fun!
I thought this was a fever dream omg 😭😭 I remember watching some trailer about it and wanting to play so badly. Now I want to play again since I never got the chance
I feckin love this game so much!
I miss your streams so much!!!
I love this game. And I didn't even play long enough to unlock more of the world!
I rlly like sims medieval. I’m using the brave new world quest to have a generational monarchy. Now I’m on gen 6 and I actually update the family tree in my notebook heh. 4/6 kingdoms have elf names (i use some elvish translator on the internet, and I used elf names generator for monarchs’ names too) bc
I married the princes of Effenmont in gen 2, but now I think I bred out (?) the elf genes, so maybe next gen I’ll go back to human (?) kingdom names. Also, they’ve all been jacobian since gen 1. The quests repeat sometimes but it’s not that bad for me, I try out different scenarios when I can.
love theme fitting dress haha its so cute
0:38 I'm crying
Just got into your channel and I love it 🎉
I love this series. The end.
Oh man, these are great lmao
Hi, glad you get to enjoy Sims Medieval. I only played the iOS version years back. Hope you try it too.
This was really cool I remember seeing Sims Medieval in a gameinformer magazine when it was first coming out I never got to play it (didn't have a gaming PC back when I was growing up) but now that you've showed it off I know I'll be picking this game up (EA maybe support liss the lass for her incredible work *hint hint, wink wink* also the medieval dress looked really cool on you in game and IRL :)
This game was so cool !
back when it came out i got it from my nan and was so sad it wasn’t the normal sims but set in medieval times lmaoo
i fully agree about the ambitions being in one save 😭😤 i've never played a second ambition 😂
sims used to have so much to do in base game
I loved this game!
Loved this game in my school years
Finally someone gets it xD I always find that whenever I bring it up people don't understand why I like this game so much
I loved this game so much as a kid, I used to get so confused about the ambitions though, I could never figure out why it kept making me restart. I guess now I know lol
I got it too, AND BRUH!! it's awesome!!! I'm having a blast :D
I love sims medieval!!!
i dont even play sims but this got recommended to me. cool vid
This is one of my favourite Sims game only second to the Sims 2! She doth slay 💅🏻
