I bought an Xbox as my depression was getting out if hand at work, j am a manager of a shop and the stress was taking a toll. I found this game and I love it, even my girlfriend has noted how calm I am and excited at the thought of silly things like making my own jam and honey, and although that is a way off as I'm only 6hrs in. Thank you for the amazing videos I write notes of the tips I will use and get excited for the next days play.
Thank you so much, I was worried that I was wasting my rare flowers turning them into honey. I had no idea they were worth that much! I won't hesitate to sell my coconuts now, I can finally get off the struggle bus in terms of money 😂
I had worked out most of these but have a huge pile of coconuts which I will now sell. I have 20 beehives and they are my biggest earner on my farm. The one other thing I do for good money is make wine. i plant heaps of grapes in fall and have 15 kegs to process them into wine, depending on the quality I am getting between 900 and 1500 per bottle. The one downside is that it takes a while to process.
You can also put some of the foragables into the mason jars to earn a little bit more. Seriously, the maker machines shell out a lot of money in the first year if you're willing to stock pile a lot of things in the beginning.
The difficulty with the machines is some of the time it takes to make the item. I need to do a cost analysis. I noticed for some jams it doesn't make enough to be worth the effort when I need quick money.
@@FayeBDragon I agree Faye, in the first year when money was tight for me, it was better to sell up front for many of the items, to have money right away! Once I've done a more detailed cost analysis, then I'll know what is worth the wait to process, even in early game! Stay tuned!
I thought it maybe worth saying too, titan arum jam is part of one of the offerings at the lake temple. I’m stupid and sold it without even thinking and haven’t found another! 😱
I make all the offerings at the altar first and then go to the museum and anything left over I sell! I cant tell you how many times I thought I offered something and then I find out I didn't and it was a hard find 😢😅
if you're feeling a bit lazy, fishing can also earn some money too. it also has nail-biting excitement too when you struggle with a rare fish, as they are more difficult to catch. However, some fishes are impossible to catch in this current game version
I’m actually skipping fishing until I get the last fishing pole… 😢 The feeling of having the possibility of catching a legendary combined with not being able to actually catching it it’s frustrating 😖
I made the mistake of using an older guide about turning foragables to smoothies now they're only 5 coin sell price. So I would've made more selling them without cooking 😢
Sarah you rock :) thank you for this wonderful reference video. I had honestly stopped shaking the palm trees as I ran around doing other things. Appreciate the reminder and heads up on saving the rare flowers.
Hi, I started a new game and it's already Summer but still haven't got the first quest of donating 10 items to the Museum. What can I do?? Thanks in advance for your help.
If you enter the Museum, Scott should activate this quest for you. If not, report the bug to CI through feedback on the game. If this has been activated, you can donate bugs and fish that you catch by walking up to the donation box.
Can u pls make a video about catching bugs? Having a hard time getting a tiger beetle. I caught one and gave it to the museum and now I cannot get a second one for the lake temple... reee
Cooking low value and low quality crops into things is the best way to maximize crop profit. The jams, pickles, and juices made from crops that are low value and low quality are nowhere near as good as Green Smoothies, Fruit Smoothies, and Salads. I always wanna save my high value and high quality stuff for jams, juices, and pickles.

Yes, I have to do a cost analysis based on the time it takes when I want quick money. Coconuts are my number 1 go to!
Totally! Wine is great for making money, but the time component is why it didn't make the cut for this particular list!!

How do you cook? I don't have a kitchen yet and I don't see it as an option in crafting
How about making money for beginners? I’m always broke
