Flashed HP RX 5700(reference) to RX 5700XT(reference) today, 05/02/2021. Initially, I got all the same errors you all got. My amd driver was from April 2021 release. Tried various version ATI flash from old to the newest even 3.04+, but all did not work until 2.93+. Typed -unlockrom 0 then -f -p 0 biosname.rom and it worked. Thank you so much for sharing the website and how to do.
Thanks, I had the same issue and had to take some extra steps to make the issue go away: - I had to remove my other GPU's from the system, otherwise the 0FL01 message would still appear, even with 2.93+. - Make sure the CMD runs in Admin mode, don't use PowerShell.

I appreciate the video man but I have a question, do you know how to fix the issue " -f is not supported in external tool" due to this I cannot flash my bios using my bootable usb. I also doesn't have an IGPU so freedos is my only way. Any help will be appreciated!
@@clavats94 After analyzing the situation, I solved it by booting in safe mode then deleting the amd driver then after that it booted in normal mode so I directly flashed it in desktop mode using cmd (with garbage display but I managed 😝) hopefully this can help you too and let's be careful next time before flashing again.

You need to do it in windows but with Igors lab tool AMDVBFLASH 3.04+. The "+" actually means something where Igor and team modified the original tool. Are you trying to force flash it with the correct commands? I had some issues of my own so I tried different versions, including the latest one from Techpowerup

hello, please I'm stuck who can help me please, I flash my Asus Rog strix Rx 5700 no Xt, with amdvbflash I got an error message that the -f is not supported, then the flash continued and asked to reboot, after reboot no image, then I restarted in Q mode I tried the same with the stock bios the flash worked but still no image on the mode P, I tried on the machine of a friend who has a built-in card I flashed the card again but with another asus Rx 5700 bios, there the fans stop and when I try to flash with atiflash I have an error message telling me error program rom, is my card stuck? when I do on AMD flash -i I have the navi10 information ..... etc, please who can help me I am blocked I bought this card not two months ago, thank you in advance

thank you muchi spent a day and a half with a new gigabyte 5700xt rev.2 i kept getting 0fL01 i used the 293 plus tool and flash a powercolor reddevil bios from techpower making sure it had samsung memory and it worked in windows . it was initialy bricked in hiveos by trying to flash a bios from iggycrypto but it only supported micron im guessing thats how the brick happened .but i see what you mean the latest driver doesnt let msi burner do anything to the card not even fan speeds ima pop it in hive and see if i can get this thing hashing thank you for the help and hope this commnt maybe helps someone else !
i tried ATIflash with a .rom i got from a russian spreadsheet for my aorus 5700xt but it says error in vbios image, can i try one for 5700 non aorus or should i search for another .rom or maybe another way of flashing the gpu? getting 53.6 mh/s without flash.
You should be taking you stock bios, and modifying it with Red Bios Editor then flash. When you download a Bios, there is a chance of it not working. You should always back up your stock Bios before you try to flash. You can download a bios from TechPowerUp GPU database, thats how I took the RX 5700 XT bios and applied it to my Non XT card. Just get the same model card, I.E. Msi Trio 5700 flashed with MSI Trio 5700 XT bios.

You need sellect card in morepowertool and then load factory bios from techpowerup and edit as u want, Last thing is to push button write SPPT and reboot pc. Now is everything unlocked in Wattman like i edited in morepowertool without amdvbflash or red bios editor

So I tried, flashing exactly the same BIOS, Different amdvbflash's, uninstalling drivers, plugging it in to x16 pcie, nothing have helped so far, Strangest of All, Silent Mode is still good but OC mode is gone and Im unable to flash it back, 0fl01 unable to flash ROM, I'm fucking done Edit. I did install insttool64.exe
What model GPU you have, some GPUs, may not take the bios. But you should be able to force flash it back to stock. If it is an Asus, another Crypto content creator shared what they did to bypass.

I bricked my 570 and this card doesn’t have a bios switch and I’m getting 0FL01 how would I fix this?

Card has a dual bios switch, currently set on left position

the command prompts are different in the newest version. its now -fa or -fp

v2.93 was the ONLY version that worked for my 5700 to 5700XT flash

You need to get either 2.93+ or 3.04+ from Igors lab, and create a batch file to run your commands. Make sure it is the one from Igors Lab

You will, this is just older vid with recommended driver at that time. You will see a performance increase if you flashed / mod bios onto gpu

your board may not allow it, load your stock bios and try to see if it is still grayed out
