Secret location?? MONSTER POLLOCK EVERY CAST | Isle of Skye 2024

Up in the best fishing grounds in Scotland, Isle of Skye. Exploring some new marks we have never fished before. Was looking on navionics and found this absolute mission of a spot. Well worth the trek with fish over 3lb every cast once we found the honey hole. Started off slow but wait til the end of the video to see the fish we pulled in.

Pollack is best after it has been frozen believe me it has more taste and is very similar to cod...batter it though...eaten tons of it, i lived on Skye andcaught plenty

Normally just leave it in fridge for a day, I’ll have to try freeze it first next time

Rinse your reel in hot soapy water after use, that will keep your reel smooth

Thank u mate, Always give my reels a light spray down after a heavy day sea fishing. However not normally soapy

nice vid mate, the magsealed are good when they work but overall are a pretty shit design from what ive found. 3 sessions with a new one I bought and it totally seized up on me- could barely spin the handle. not sure if its the salt or what

Yess bro appreciate the comment, u inspired me to take the hike for the fishing was worth it. But aye that’s exactly what’s happened to my magseal I have only used it twice aswell, absolutely gutted.

Was unreal. Pollock is similar to the fish you get in a chippie but check the cooking video I just posted to get a real good recipe for lovely white fish 🙌🏻
